Hey guys, thanks for watching!
Just wanted to add my thoughts for those out there who maybe don't even know what it is they WANT to learn in the first place.
When it comes to picking a direction it can feel daunting, and the possibilities endless, but I believe a great first step is trying to figure out where you want to be in one year, five years, and ten years from now. What brings you joy? What do you see others doing and think, “I want to do THAT”.
In the 3D world, for example, there’s so many different paths you can take from modeling, texturing, lighting, compositing, or even just being a generalist who does a little bit of everything. Each of these paths lead to different end goals and the same is true in almost any field. So before starting down one specific path think about what makes you tick, and most importantly what makes you happy.
As I mentioned in the video, my initial plan was to go to USC and become an editor at Warner Brothers. I had no other dreams of doing anything else, and getting rejected completely ruined my plans. But by leaning on the skills I’d learned in working towards that initial goal, I changed course and used those skills to spur me on to a new, adapted goal.
Things will always change, but picking an initial direction and starting to build momentum and discipline are sure fire ways to make progress on ANY path. Movement of any kind is better than remaining static.
All to say, you don’t have to pick with 100% accuracy right out the gate. You can always use the things you’ve learned to adapt your goal as/if your interests change, but in that process you are still building the skills and discipline along the way that make that change of course much faster and easier.
Best of luck my friends!
Thanks man you are a great guy!
This is one of the most inspirational comments I’ve ever seen
Jordan you are so cool
ok thanks
It’s funny to see this come out right now because I’m struggling with learning and questioning whether a film degree is the right choice. I appreciate your wisdom ❤
One of the most impactful things I was taught in my life is, “I heard and I forgot. I saw and I remembered. I did and I understood.” Just like you talked about in retention. So important!
Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand
Hey! It's Christian.
I like that. I forget a lot of things but I have a lot going on!
Man we really need more solo videos from Jordan,he has such soothing voice like Wren, with great charisma and he adds uniqueness and different personality to his videos than the usual crew videos, thanks Jordan i really needed this today
Jordan has quickly become one of my favorite members of the crew
I really appreciate how the crew always decided to share us and try helping us see a path and guide us where they seem to have "fallen" so that we can avoid the same mistake
Edit:Thank you for your kind 721 likes, it's my most like in the history of forever
I was about to type this out. It's honestly freshing to see Jordans life story and learn from it.
@@nickgalligan255 I think even others might but they just don't feel like they need to clarify cause it's already so damn true, also twinsies 😆😅
It’s always been so personal like it feels like I am their friend… love it one of the best of all time. Best of its genre RUclips
Crew comes to my home and shares me lol
@@witcher348 I'm so sorry, my condolences to your every single holes😞😞, lol
The crew getting a bit more personal like this while also teaching and encouraging us is the best improvement yet! Love this
100% agree!
Jordan is such a gem dude, I was sad when we lost Clint bc Clint was such a positive vibe and lil ray of sunshine but Jordan has filled that spot beautifully
Corridor, you need to keep and support this man at all costs. The positive energy that shines through all of his appearances is phenomenal
Jordan, You have no idea how immensely you helped me. I'm on opposite side of the planet and yet you helped me shape my future. Trust me when i say this, and I'm writing this with teary eyes, You changed my life in these 10 minutes. I'm 24 and the past 14 yrs have been very cruel to me, but i m trying to rotate my life around now and your insights helped me see, not only what i was doing wrong but also how i can do better, how i can be better. You're an inspiration and a blessing Jordan, i hope i can make myself capable enough to meet you smday.
You got this, friend. Sorry you've had a rough time over the years, I hope things are looking up for you
The lessons from the rough time will make you even more capable on your uphill path, I wish you all the best ❤
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this my friend, my heart is full! A new chapter for you starts today and I’ll be over here pulling for you 100% 🙏🏻❤️
You‘ve got this ✊🏻
When you finally reach your goals, either big or small, the rough times will be worth it. Go for it.
Corridor never makes videos like this, but I'm glad they did this is awesome!
Eh....? This video was on their website this time last year. They're only putting it on RUclips right now. So, it's been out quite a while.
You should subscribe to their website. It's cheap and they have plenty of stuff on there. :)
It's a re-release of an episode of Crew Cuts (the Corridor BTS vlogs on their website). Definitely worth a subscription if you like this kind of thing!
“Don’t rely on motivation” is actually amazing advice, I have started and not finished a lot of things that I’ve then regretted not doing. I think if I’d just kept myself going for that extra day or two until I started enjoying what I was doing again, I really could’ve got somewhere.
I’m definitely taking this advice going forward
I'm 20 years old and I decided to drop out of college to pursue my dream of becoming an FX Artist, it is not unusual for my family to feel doubtful about it and I feel like I'm taking a very big risk, but I think it's going to be worth it. These past days I've had insecurities and fear about it, feeling like I'm not good enough, just like you said in the video, and I feel so grateful that you released this now because I really needed to hear everything you said. Thank you, Jordan.
same here man ... hope u get success
Same here, hope you become a top notch VFX artist!
I just really want to say thank you, Jordan. I'm still in my beginning stages of college working on a film degree, struggling with my self criticism and low motivation. I am always comparing myself to others, almost ashamed of the "low quality" short films that I make. I get distracted easily while working and lose hope as I work on a project because things don't end up the way that I expected. I loved all of your tips for learning and progressing, but your section on mental health was something I really needed right in this very moment. I shouldn't be comparing my work and self to others, but looking back at my past-self and past work to see how far I've come. Thank you so much Jordan, and thank you Corridor Digital for always sneaking motivation and little therapy sessions in your videos. Those of us interested in the film industry really do need it.
Holy moley!! This might just be the most important video this channel has ever done. And that's a VERY high bar to cross, given the quality of this channel overall. This deserves to be seen by millions. Personally, I've added it to a special playlist I keep of videos I need to rewatch regularly. Excellent work Jordan.
As a thirty three year old dad and husband, who was just diagnosed ADHD last year, I’ve had to start relearning how to learn, because on my new meds, my focus and concentration are at a level I’d not had my whole life. This was amazing, Jordan, and I really appreciate your positivity about these things. A lot of us have a self-destructing quality when it comes to pushing ourselves to learn and grow. Well done ❤
How did you go 33 years without being diagnosed?
@@wastedtalent666 Pretty common. Everywhere in the world. No treatment or wrong treatment.
@@wastedtalent666 Until recently ADHD was only thought to affect children. It was very easy to fall into that line of thinking, and thus many adults have wondered what was "wrong" with them when it was instead a lack of understanding surrounding ADHD that wronged them. Now that ADHD is more properly understood, it has led to more adults being diagnosed. Surprise, surprise, a mental affliction doesn't disappear magically just by aging and still requires care.
I haven’t been diagnosed with ADHD but have tons of symptoms caused by my PTSD and anxiety. It’s nice to hear others here who have struggled too. Thanks for sharing.
I’m 49 and only just diagnosed with ADHD last December. Half the problem is ADHD has one of the worst names for any disorder.
I don’t have an deficit in my attention, my problem (along with most ADHD sufferers) is my brain pays too much attention to everything around me, every auditory and visual stimuli.
I’ve never been physically hyperactive either, my brain won’t stop sometimes and I find it difficult to stop talking but otherwise pretty quiet and still.
So since I didn’t fit the 2 most well known symptoms of the disorder (and even a lot of doctors don’t know that much more about it) you have to be pretty lucky to discover you have it.
Jordan is such a ball of wholesomeness, I love it. He always has a smile on his face and it's really contagious.
I also quit college and learned everything on RUclips and unpaid jobs from family and friends. Thanks for sharing your story, Jordan.
Did it work out? What jobs did you get through learning on RUclips?
@@abhorrence from his channel hes either a cook or a videographer, but thats just a speculation
That final bit about mental health really spoke to me. All the stuff mentioned before I was aware of because of the research I have done for papers and speeches in college, but as an aspiring video game programmer with anxiety based depression, I have been struggling with that last part a lot. I really needed to hear that, so thank you Jordan.
"Teaching something is tremendously beneficial when it comes to retaining something"
This is a really important fact that Jordan points out. Nothing lets you know how much you know, or don't know, faster than trying to teach it to someone else.
The "teacher" is often the one who learns the most. Fantastic video Jordan!
Man, I love these types of videos where passionate people talk about passionate things.
Looking forwards to more stuff from Jordan!
I’m almost 59 years old. I have wanted to do more video photography work-time to do it! Thank you Jordan! You have inspired me.
I've come to know Jordan as someone who's goofy and rarely takes things seriously (on the outside) Seeing you do a more educational and serious video like this was actually kind of a surprise to me, but a welcome one at that. I love seeing what you guys are all doing over at Corridor!
We need more Jordan. This is helpful for all of us who have ourselves as our harshest critic. Thank you for the words and encouragement.
Perhaps one of the best videos by corridor not only in this year but EVER. I've been a fan of the channel and the team for a few years now and I love how you guys are turning into this powerhouse of knowledge and resources, inspiring people in the creative industry all over the world. Just keep doing what you do!
I love the phrase "Learning by teaching" - I studied physics at the University and I have never had the feeling that I completely understood the whole thing. But now, I am in my first year as a teacher and almost every day I get better in understanding the topics I teach. It's so incredible, and I am glad to have found the best job in the world.
Thanks Jordan for sharing your thoughts in an awesome way!
jordan being an inspirational speaker was unexpected but pretty enjoyable and knowledgeable
I've watched for YEARS never commented... this is (amoungnst all of the other great content) one of the best things you've put out. Can be applied to almost any disapline...bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Jordan, I can not describe how thankful I am for your advice! I'm at a low point in my life, my mental health is not at a good state. I love what you said about luck, when preparation meets opportunity. Thank you Corridor crew for making this video happen.
having talked to jordan even personally I think he's a really great mentor and a good person
As someone going to grad school online, this is EXTREMELY important! When classes are once a week, self discipline and learning is the most important thing to have, even if you are learning what you love. Something worth mentioning that wasn't in the video (directly) is having a specific work place. I study at home, so my whole house can feel like a learning environment without any personal time. To any students reading this: sticking to learning is only hard initially, it does get easier the more you do it; just like any other skill.
I found the channel on RUclips almost 3 years ago while I was starting at collage, all your videos have inspired me to be better, to challenge myself, I almost feel like I know you guys and you're helping me with my path to become a VFX artist. So thank you so very much because truly you have helped me achieve so many wonderful things. Hugs and all the love from Mexico.
Thank you folks so much for this video. I went to school for music and have been sorta struggling a lot with just sitting down and actually making something due to depression and anxiety disorder and all that. I've been trying to get back into creating lately and this video has been a nice extra push. The passion you folks show for film and VFX artistry is always so inspiring to me, and watching your videos always helps me feel that passion again for myself
It's so weird, i have been crunching on a project, and i was wondering how I could learn more but efficiently and this video popped up. Everything Jordan just said clicked and immediately fitted into place. The work you guys do is an absolute inspiration!
Your skill makes you incredible. Your vulnerability makes you accessible. Thank you for walking that line for all these years, and for now giving us an even deeper peek behind the curtain.
Why is this the best video corridor has ever released??? I needed this is my life and need to watch it like every day.
9:45 “luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity” i literally saw that quote today man i needed that. I like when I learn something and then later will hear it or see it somewhere else.
This was such a refreshing video! As someone not in the VFX industry that loves all of Corridor's videos, the broader connection and ideas from this video were something special!
I've been struggling with mental health issues, depression, and lack of motivation so I'm extremely glad you took the time to talk about that and how it impacts artists. The advice you gave was invaluable and I'm glad to know I'm not the only aspiring artist with these challenges. Thank you so much Jordan!
Ever since I was growing up, I found RUclips as a space where I saw unimaginable creativity come to life, and I am currently at the beginning of the end of finishing my college degree. I never thought I could make it this far after years of dealing with depression from middle school long into my college years, but the one thing that has driven me to keep going was my core belief of wanting to inspire creativity and goodness in others, kinda like how this video has reinvigorated my perception on how I want to achieve my goals in life.
Watching the evolution of Corridor and the videos, the projects, the memories you all had a part in creating and showing the world has been one of the many inspirations I have found on the platform.
So to sum it all up: thank you. Thank you Jordan, and thank you all that work at Corridor. You inspire my goal to inspire others with my work. Keep on creating.
Thank you Jordan and Corridor for making this video, I'm at that point of my life where after depression and financial difficulty, I finally feel like I'm maybe able to continue my passion as a filmmaker and/or try new things, paths in my life. Videos like this helps me understand that we are not alone and there's hope for every one of us. And hearing this from one of my best appreciated content creators is just lovely, thank you! Slow progress is still progress!
Thank you so much for making this Jordan. As someone who is currently pursuing self learning in a few different areas and has recently felt like I'm floundering, I really needed something like this to remind me that I'll be okay. I just need to prioritise, focus, and take it one step at a time.
After just doing not so how on an exam and approaching my hopefully Final Finals, this was well needed, especially that last part about being kind to yourself. Seeing you guys make more personal videos like this is awesome!
Honestly, this video has come at a time that is so, *so* needed. Love you all for everything over the years, but this video especially x
Thank you Jordan, you have touched the hearts of many including me. I know a lot of us needed to hear everything you said. Big love.
This is incredible Jordan! Definitely a must-watch for all aspiring artists. Also, thank you so much for the shout-out! To anyone else watching this video, if your serious about becoming a VFX artist there has never been a better time to get into the industry. Seriously. There are more job openings, more training, and more communities than ever. It takes hard work, but you can get there! 🔥
Thanks guys! I've absolutely loved my time learning at Rebelway so far. Thanks for putting together such wonderfully in depth classes
Current animation student in finals right now, I just want to say thanks for the inspiring words! I enjoyed listening to Jordan's story, it was really motivational and definitely motivating me to learn better!
This is one of the most powerful and moving videos you guys have made. They all rock, but this talks to the creative soul, which you know as creators can be fragile. Thank you for the continued inspiration.
Thank you. This is exactly what I needed to hear. I’m a second year medical student, and this is definitely one of the hardest chapters of my life. Getting started and continuing to study for hours a day, day after day, week after week, month after month without stopping is extremely taxing, and thoughts of incompetency continuously loom over me when I feel like I’m behind. This was very much needed, so thank you!
This video was on the corridor digital channel and feel happy is being shared on youtube now. Such a good short video of inspiration. Yet again, amazing video Jordan
This is... incredibly inspiring!
I've had really horrible depression, anxiety and panic attacks for 15+ years ever since 2 of my cousins had died in Victorian Bushfires and it's been really hard to find motivation to do anything. Having something that's a doable, regimented schedule that also promotes good mental health sounds right up my alley.
Thank you for making this, Jordan and Corridor Crew!
Hope all is well 🙏
I dont know why I ended up teary eyed after this. I have gone through this process so many times and kept stopping due to lack of motivation, or getting into my own head. Its refreshing to see this. Discipline is king. Time to get back at it. Thank you so much for this.
I was going through your back catalogue of videos while waiting for things to render - I really needed this right now. Thank you.
I'm so glad to be able to see practiced creators, like these folks, take the time to say to everyone "yeah, it can be hard, take care of yourself" - not nearly enough kind words like that for other artists/students out there. Thanks for making this video, and I look forward to seeing more talks like this in the future!
Ya'll great 👍.
As I head into self teaching tomorrow on a new branch within my current field, using online learning a courses, this video couldn't have come at a better time. I think I will attempt your study plan, Jordan, of watching a lesson fully, then taking notes, then application. I'm excited to see what happens! Thank you for the inspiration.
I just left my job Friday, and wanted to start making a ton of changes in my life. I needed a weekend to myself cause I haven't had any personal time, and need to sort out some personal things. Then you put out this video. Thank you, Jordan. Not only is it well informed, put together and Motivating. It was right on time, and just what the world needs. 😄
Best video I saw on RUclips all month. As an educator and autodidact myself, you nailed this. And the pinned comment is key too! Thanks dudes. This RULES
As a freelance digital artist myself I needed this, thanks Jordan
i have watched probably 50+ videos on this topic this is the best one by far.
I really needed to hear this today. The section about mental health and taking your time is a huge one for me. I've been trying to upskill lately; I've not been living up to my own expectations and life keeps putting road blocks in the way. I even procrastinated watching this for 8 hours, but boy am I glad I watched it. Its great inspiration to keep going.
Thanks for making this ☺
This is immediately my favorite video. Not only can I relate tremendously, but it has really helped remind me that I'm always becoming my future self. It may take time, and lots of effort, but this is a GREAT guide to those who want to learn. Thank you, Jordan!!!
This was fantastic. It was great to see all of these points collected in one video. I also think it’s beneficial to occasionally rewatch things like this so you don’t lose sight of these very important points. Great job Jordan!
Those tips and ideas are superb and a big thanks to Jordan too, what a guy, what a marvellous dude! There’s just one thing I’d add from my personal experience: take care to build a community, no matter how small (it can literally be just 3 from your local pub or whatever). Why? Because after you finish one leg of your journey, you’d be wanting to share your results with someone. And not having someone to share with can dampen your spirit quite a bit. They say “put it on the internet” - but there’s a lot of really good work out there receiving little to no attention at all, like excellent stuff with 3 or 4 "likes" or "impressions" or whatever. So take care to have a circle of friends passionate enough to care about what you do, and don’t forget to reciprocate in kindness and passion.
Jordan is so wholesome
Distraction and procrastination on top of everything else life throws at you - circumstances, health, work etc - always tells you will do it later. I'm not going to wait till the time is right anymore... I'm just going to start doing. The start will be hard, disorienting, I'll feel lost and hopeless and will fall repeatedly but I will keep going one more than my blocks and failures.
I've been hawing and humming for well over a year now. Tomorrow at 4 am up I get and start... thank you guys so much for this video.
MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE. Everyone needs this kind of video, and your platform is a perfect place for this message.
Hey Jordan, I'm nearly 50 and I'm again learning something new with Unreal 5. Your video was awesome with some great tips. The retention phase has always been the hardest part, so the write and teach it back is something I'm taking on board. Thanks again and great video. Cheers 👍
Nice. I'm a few years behind, not many, but I've been playing with UE5. I'm a 3D modelling 'student', so hit me up if you need me for a project! I have unlimited passion. 3 years in, hard surface concepts and conventional game models.
These advices ae really accurate, I can relate to this. Really awesome video
OMG Jordan I cried at the end!! I'm working as a Teacher, it's basically what I'm trying to teach to my students and it felt so heartwarming to hear from you. Thank you so much
I have two sons and you have provided me and my wife a way to communicate with them a life lesson that has taken me years to master . If you can even say I've mastered it . I tell my boys knowledge is power
Be Powerful and it's truly one of a very few things that can't be taken away easily . Hopefully they will hear your message and take it to heart .
This beginning is beautiful!
Absolutely loved this video. Going through this process right now, and I could HARD relate with everything that Jordan mentioned in this video.
Also, like another comment mentioned, Jordan is so wholesome! :")
Thank for this!!!! I'm not the only one who needs to hear these things once in awhile.
You (yes, YOU!) Are one of a kind and you're never not good enough, just different. Embrace that.
I clicked on this video literally at the right time. i just resigned from my job of 25 years today so that i can focus more on my family and my passion of UI design for the video game industry. I have been watching you guys for a long time. Thanks Jordan for this video, i am all those things you said about being intimidated, trying to learn by myself and going between paid and free videos on youtube. I wish you guys would put out some tutorial videos as well. Thanks!
So nobody is gonna talk about the jordan dance intro??
No
Peter’s always been my favorite corridor member, and seeing his goal as “defeat god” only pushed that further. Thanks for the super beneficial tutorial Jordan!
This is more inspiriting than any video I have ever seen. Genuinely solid advice. Everything he said was spot on. I know because instead of taking me 2 weeks to get my CDL (Truck drivers license) it took me like 3 months. 2.5 months of self-doubt, laziness, being harsh on myself or lookin down on myself, comparing myself to better operators. the last two weeks is when I focused and achieved it. I never reflected on it until he mentioned the journey should be just as fun as the end result or more satisfying. thanks for the video man, I hope this reaches more people. Cause there is a lot of information out there on easy routes to success. but the easy way is always the path to failure and depression once you realize you just wasted x amount of days, or months going backward.
Who'd have thought the corridor crew could have made such an inspirational and genuine video. This was pure gold
I can tell by the way you talk about learning and growing that you're a very dedicated person. Don't let "the system" tell you how you HAVE to learn and develop. I pride myself as a collector of skills. I dropped out of college 4 years in, never going back. I've been a network admin, graphic designer, tech support professional, salesman, jeweler and on. Don't set walls for yourself, like you've experienced before, if you wall off all but one path, when you fail it's devastating. Keep rockin!
This is unironically the best workout motivation video (without specifically being about that subject) I have ever seen.
I really needed this right now. Taking the leap to go from IT to software engineering... Scaring the ever living hell out of me right now. All the fears... All the self doubt... All the intimidation of others' abilities... But this has been my goal and dream for over 17 years. I want it. I'm working on it. I'm glad that I saw this video this early in my journey.
Here's to taking risks and leaping forward!
Bismillah
This is what the world needs to see! Thank you so much! I am self taught in everything that I do now for work and I think that learning how to learn is something that isn’t always taught but I feel like it is the key to the city that will allow you to unlock any door in front of you along your journey.
It is like the saying if you give a man a fish he will eat for a day but if you teach a man to fish you will feed him for a lifetime! Thank you for helping teach people to learn so that they can be empowered to teach their goals!!!
You guys rock!! Keep up the great content!!
Thank you guys. I've been going through a really intense time in my life while also trying to follow my dreams as a creator and musician. I was literally giving up and taking my studio down when this video came up in my feed and revived my inspiration and motivation. You guys are amazing.
Man, Jordan. I just picked up my laptop to keep plugging away at my book and card game. I was going to pu ton some music and this video was at the top. You just confirmed everything I felt about working on projects. Every time I sit down to write or develop the game, is a step forward.
Thank you so much.🐇
Best video on youtube i watched for a while, so sincere and informative. Jordan, thanks for sharing this insight. your line "I may not be the best, but I'm the best I've ever been" was like a revelation to me, really hit the nail on the head for a lot of things I do, thank you
thank you for this. i'm so happy with the quality of content being put out on youtube lately. in my heart of hearts, i believe we're having a creative revolution. i hope it's handled thoughtfully, once it's clearer to all
Dude... I did not come for this kind of incredibly detailed and aspirational inspo- thank you! I feel like I needed this.
i could literally watch this video over and over again and never feel less meaning or feel less motivated by this.
Please make more of these. I want to get into filming but it's tough. I have my own RUclips channel but my upload schedule is terrible. I like watching you guys because you're people I can learn from.
I love Corridor Crew videos even though I've stepped away from my own VFX goals. This is my very favorite right now. As a middle-aged man that grew up with ADHD I've had to learn how to learn myself, and being able to put those tools into my toolbox and knowing how to use them has always been the only way I could achieve anything. Putting plans into action and making action into habit is a very powerful but ambiguous ability. Thank you for breaking down the steps and making your own process understandable. This video should be shown to every highschooler each year.
Thanks so much for this video. As someone who has always struggled with discipline and direction, I've heard and tried to adopt many of these things in my life. I still struggle in many of these areas. You've presented this in a way that feels actionable and encouraging, and hearing your own story helps me feel not so alone. Watching this video feels like the realignment that I needed to move forward from where I am today. Thank you for taking what you've learned and using it to encourage others.
THANK YOU Jordan. I really needed this. I am in college and that feeling of being out of place and overwhelming anxiety were slowly getting to me. Having done not so well in the first exams, And feeling hopeless on the next one, watching this gave me hope. Thank you.
Hey Jordan. Very inspirational. I am 65 and am constantly challenging myself to learning new skills. I have some software I want to learn and I think your video just gave me the push I needed, so more power to you dude! I think you have the most organised workstation in the whole 'crew. I hope they get inspired by you. Thanks for sharing.
I really needed this right now. I just spent a lot of money on filming equipment because I wanted the tech to produce good footage, but with this I suddenly felt overwhelmed by the prospect of not having an excuse if my work was sub-par in quality. After watching this, I'm going to give it a go anyway. Learning is an amazing experience, and I hope one year from now I will be proud of what I have achieved.
I loved this EP. You have no idea how many people needed to get this message. Thanks
Thanks a lot Jordan! Best video I've seen in a long time on RUclips in general. I know I really needed to see this and have a few friends that benefitted from seeing this as well!
I love that you've been allowed to make this video and that you, at corridor digital, have always been more than open and transparent. The only thing I would have to mention is that there are people that don't bring anything to the table. They just take and take and the sad thing about them is that it stems from your last point: "Mental health". They have been unlucky enough to witness these interactions first hand and gave up... thus reciprocating the harsh environment/thoughts/actions they've received onto others. I wish I could share what I've worked on to address these issues. Your video has also highlighted several points in my work, but you've brought 2 points that seemed more clear than in my works and I thank you for that. I'm not sure which is best for its structure is very different, but... Accessibility seems to be the key component for a structure to work and be used as a reference. For the time being, I think your video shines bright and should get far more attention than just on this shady platform. Hopefully my comment doesn't get removed for that last line, but I'd rather be honest and make sure you know that this video is incredible!
I respect the honesty and openness that Jordan displays.
I need this video more then ever right now Jordan, thank you. I believe in everything you said and found these principals to be true when I was in my final years of high school it was so hard to learn from the teachers in that environment and it anoyed me enough to start learning at home after school and it taught me so many of the things you mentioned in ur video. but lately 15 years out of high school I find myself completely ignoring my passion and using the excuse of work, being tired and how much better everyone is now, but what u said was a massive eye opener.
But I strongly agree with the mental health aspect of this if ur not in the right frame of mind you will either not do it or make up excuses or even actively search for them in making negative comments to urself. Dont rush mental health if ur felling crap make goals to stop that from happening if u can Identify them and for me it was personal time away from work.
Now i have negotiated one day off a week to work on myself, and continue learning because that is my true passion.

Wow! I really need to say how happy I am after watching this video. In the last few years, I felt like everything I was doing was in vain, and every time I saw my creations it felt wrong. Today I realized something important because of this video, which at first seemed like any other, but it showed in a simple way that I can organize myself better. Thank you so much for clearing my head, I really needed that kind of guidance. Again, thank you so much guys, I will always remember this channel and especially this video as I keep trying to improve , step by step!
I feel I've always had a very very similar outlook. I've been struggling a bit with work feeling like it's my focus instead of truly working on myself. I needed to hear this, I appreciate the effort that went into the video and the beauty that is this channel ♥
These are things I have learned over many years, but to see it put into a 10 minute video is mindblowing
