The Assassination of Manuel Segovia

This is an abridged reading (by Cardigan Kid) of Francisco Trujillo's account of the killing of Manuel Segovia, also known as "The Indian." Portions of the interview have been left out, and names have been corrected for ease of comprehension. Nothing was omitted or altered with the intention of changing the story itself. (For instance, Francisco calls "The Indian" Juan Armijo, while most accounts say his name was Manuel Segovia. Francisco calls Billy Morton "Billy Mote," McSween "Macky Swin" etc.; the correct names have been used as much as possible.)
It is our hope that these "History on Tape" videos will merely serve as a catalyst for your interest, and encourage you to seek out the original source documentation and study them for yourself!
