Guys, please feel free to mix wood tones as much as you like! They are all neutrals and look great while ballancing each other. It also gives the decor much more dimention.

Challenge idea: take 5 of your favorite items to use in builds and have your sim transform them with the sim ray. Whatever you get, weather it’s bone dust or a golden toilet, you need to use in a build. Might be funny and challenging.

The floors have just been more worn out than around the doors. I understand the frustration of non-matching swatches, but between thinking about the different ways that light hits things and reflects off different materials, I usually can forgive most of it.

I love all the color!! And snaps :) Also just a tid-bit, you don't need to put 'showhiddenobjects' to be able to use 'liveeditobjects'! just use the one (if thats all you need) and there will be lots less to scroll through
I was just looking through the comments to see if someone else had already suggested this :) It really saves so much time when debug landscaping to not have to scroll through endless rows of kitchen items!

I finished mine but towards the end I kinda gave up so she's a lil basic (I know for a fact I forgot to terrain paint the one tree). I did kinda a Japanese inspired build with it and the one thing I'm the absolute worst at is floorplans.

I love Snap showing up in your vids. I recently lost two of my pets and it's nice to see other pets loving their owners and owners appreciating them, especially you letting her stay on your desk even if she's in front of your keyboard.

the cat thing i would say is they can sense change and probably know you are moving soon and just unsure about it when things get settled they will start to act normal

I have no idea how Simsie builds so much with debug without TMEX's debug mod installed, I cannot live as a builder without that mod that just lets me see debug all the time, I need it so often lol. This cottage turned out so pretty despite its saddening start but alas, isnt it always the mismatched wood tones that strike us down?

I recently made a "house" for my really weird collector sim. I wanted to keep his expenses low so he could be unemployed for as long as possible. I got him the always welcome trait so he could get his needs met anywhere so he was rarely home. He loves outdoors and is hot and cold tolerant. The home has a 4 tile bathroom and that is the only tiles build mode recognizes, because it has 2 walls and a roof. I used the glass roof on the half with the bed so he can sleep under the stars. I put fencing to enclose the "room" with a gap in the fencing that a toddler has slunk in through so it doesn't count as tiles. I know he could get into fabricating, but I prefer the woodsy wild man forage vibe. It does have an outdoor kitchen that is off-the-grid next to the bathroom.
