- Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Platinum using only Not Fully Evolved Pokemon?
Nuzlocke Rules:
-Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
-Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
-All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
-Always Set mode
-No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
-No overleveling the next gym leader
Personal Rules:
-No setup moves

Getting a Pikachu as the first eligible encounter with the 5% Light Ball after losing the only Pokémon Antler has with Thief is such an amazing luck, but also the Gabite/Garchomp battle has that "IT'S SO OVER / WE'RE SO BACK" energy
I’d say that’s well deserved after those nasty confusions from fantina (psybeam 10% confuse, confusion 50% self hit)

I loved that you said using Pikachu was “anime style.” This whole challenge is sort of anime style since it took Ash about 20 years to have a mostly-fully-evolved team 😂

Full starter only run in gen 7 due to island scan could be fun and a challenge. Also that light ball on pikachu and the back and forth with Cynthia was clutch

It’s amazing to see that your luck was the thing that brought you to victory at the very end. Without the light ball, it’s obvious that you stood no chance. What’s even luckier is the fact that garchomp had to miss dragon rush. I think we can all agree that we want more littlelockes!

This was a great nuzlocke until you mentioned that you had a Life Orb, can you explain how did you get that Life Orb since it only can be obtained in Stark Mountain, area only accesible until the post-game?

What’s the point of a nuzlocke if you’re going to cheat? If a run’s impossible, at least be transparent you’re modifying the rules or rules or just don’t do it.

@@zechli it's not uncommon idk why yall think it is. Just look at his SV runs.
He exploits a glitch, which by most standards, would be considered "cheating". Either way nuzlockers cheat all the time with rare candies and such so I don't see the big issue with adding one or two tms and an item to his bag.
I cant believe the second stage of my favorite Pokemon beat Cynthia's strongest the way it did. It was so cool to watch. Just when I think your runs cant get cooler they just surpass every expectation.

I usually watch these videos not for the challenges but more for the interesting teams and pokemons you don't see used often. In most cases the final evolution is the coolest of the Line and idk how im supposed to feel about not having these Pokemon in your Team yk.

My favorite NFE might be Vigoroth. Often times I’ll leave an everstone on that thing and let the vital spirit slasher go to town.

Don’t know if you’ve done anything like this but it would be cool to see a starter only run .e.g if you did it on sun and moon the only Pokémon you can use is rowlet, poplio and litten and obviously they can evolve.
