- Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in a Randomizer Egglocke?

Nuzlocke Rules:
-Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
-Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
-All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
-Always Set mode
-No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
-No overleveling the next gym leader
Personal Rules:
-No setup moves

I think this is the first recorded 2nd attempt I’ve ever seen Antler have. To think all this would happen from omega ruby. This is probably one of my favorite videos to date because of all this

These attempts made me have flashbacks when you started another attenpt at a hardcore infinite fusion nuzlocke randomizer. It would have been really cool to see Greg clutch up but even if you lost that, you'd get right back up and win the next attempt.

Am I missing a reason why the Flash Fire Leavanny wasn't being used to tank flamethrowers from Moltres, and then later from Reshiram? Seems like a bit of a misstep unless there's something I'm missing? Great run though, nice commentary and I love thegglockes. I love that chat gave you a real mixed bag, in that you didn't get all OP mons or all meme trash.
Moltres could've just used sky attack since the ai could see the quad effective death. He did use it against reshiram but the ai saw levanny was immune so it used Dragon pulse.
Mad respect for that impressive run back. I'm happy you covered attempt 2 so thoroughly. I was worried you would just skip to the end.

This was my first time watching an Egglocke and it seems very similar to an idea I had once. Regular nuzlocke rules but whenever you catch a Pokemon, it stays on your team until it dies. It can only be replaced when it dies and even then, you can't swap to whatever you want. If you have a full team and you've built up catches in your box, you have to take the first Pokemon from the box. When the next one dies, you take the second one along the row and so on and so forth.

That randomizer got the purest definition of an end boss.
Normal gem boosted explosion from Regice was crazy lol but not as crazy and hilarious as drizzle Raichu with Kyogre as its partner 😂

Love all of ur vids like always but i did want to ask, in the battle against moltres, why did u never send leavanny out? Leavanny had flash fire so im sure u could avoid the flamethrower using that and hence stevete would be alive. Either way tho love watching ur videos and keep pumping out this amazing content : )
I was afraid of dying to sky attack and with only grass/bug/ normal moves I wasnt going to damage it w Leavanny. That was at least my thinking...
