Those tall racing gears are gonna pick this bike up to serious numbers too And the transmission is still completely bone stock we are about to unlock this bikes true potential and it is already fast, this is gonna be good
Just some fine adjustments but good news is it does work and it was easy to install and it looks cool looks like a race bike now, temp gauge, RPM gauge sweet lol Yeah black paint looks fantastic especially if you get the high gloss black it’s easy to match with other parts as well You can watch a video I did at the beginning of spring last year when I painted this Taotao with gloss black
@@travisowens4388 And isn’t it crazy how you and a few other people locally here in Monroe found my channel by chance on RUclips lol But yeah Dave is a great guy if he sees that you were heavily interested in modifying and building Scooter’s he will go out of his way to help you but once he teaches you something he expects you to retain that information so you can do it for yourself just like wiring up this RPM tachometer Great town to live in for scooters with the shop being here I’m trying to motivate others to upgrade and modify their scooters but there are only a very select few of us in this town that actually do this and live this lifestyle Maybe we can meet up and I can show you some secret spots I got around here that are pretty damn fun on these little scoots
@@davidhofinger4927 Dave is a great guy did some work on my dad's scooter a few years ago bike still starts right up like new bro, I'm definitely interested in upgrading my scooter I appreciate all the knowledge
Well, This bike was shut down about three months ago now But when I shut it down for the winter season, it was still running just fine The numbers are still off a bit but not drastically. It’s hard to get the RPM exactly dialed in with such a loose sensor wire, but not impossible.
I tapped in to it at first and it read just the same as the wrap, so i left it wrapped and zipp tied but you have to remember it says x10 on the pannel in lower right corner so at 100r/min it is 1000 and that is where it should read but i agree you need to change the piston number to 0.5 or 1 or 1.5 but it goes up to 6 and get it close to the number that the manual on the bike says by default it should be idle at.
Never let a female ride your bike unless she has one herself lol I’m sorry to hear that man that sucks I hope she pitches in to fix it she owes you that At least it isn’t wrecked though that’s the silver lining here
Love This Video And Both Your Bikes
Awsome Brother Love This Bike
That button not a on and off button, it is used to program rev limmiter and to get you through the piston settings.
"Now its race ready 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂"
😂😂😂
Yea buddy love this build

How is it holding up now that it’s been on for some time ? Thinking about ordering one for my scooter since mine didn’t come stock with a tach

Awsome
You need to just put your ground wire by itself brother to frame
thats not accurate sir..change first the signal to 0.5 .then use pulser or pick up coil and tap it on ignition coil..dont follow the manual.
