MUNRO - I see BMW i7 still has raised REAR center floor, in a "PREMIUM" Luxury vehicle.
TESLA model S/X have Always had Completely FLAT floors.
this is something both BMW , Mercedes , Porsche , Audi and Looocid need to LEARN.
MUNRO - what I see is too many FASTNERS , too many Bolts & Screws , too many Wields , and too many BRACKETS that hold more Brackets, in the BMW i7......lol.
The last BMW, regardless of the propulsion tech., was the E38 (7-series 1994-2001) period.
Do the doors check the roadway is clear before the door swings open and takes out a cyclist - or close passing vehicle?
Wouldn't call having a cloth option for seats ''skimping'', it has its clear advantages. And as someone that buys this segment of cars, I am very happy to see this.
That all sounds quite nice, but it is obviously a car that you should never buy used, unless money is not a factor. But then you can also buy it new and even get your favorite color.
Is it worth the money? No: buy a home in Pittsburgh and rent it out instead. Am I happy I bought one? Yes, absolutely, it’s an amazing vehicle.
They have the best cup holders! Priceless. Worth the $151k for that alone. WTF
Yep, they add all that bling KNOWING it'll break, and you'll be back at the dealer SOON!!
Tearing this car apart will be a CRIME!!
not going to be taken apart, this vehicle was a press / media loaner
Why does it have headlights straight off a 2016 jeep cherokee?
Why not?
This is the Rolls Royce they should have made.
Also how ironic……a B&W sound system in a BMW LOL!
Maybe the cloth seats are, like in the Toyota Century, aimed at a buyer more concerned with comfort than nouveau-riche image? But then there's the grille, which is all about that image. And the hideous headlights (like a bad copy of a Genesis).
I guess the obvious savings for BMW shareholders would be via the elimination of the steering column mounted stalks and all those short cut buttons, and burying the lost control functions in a SINGLE screen. So much cheaper to manufacture and greater profit margin. That’s what Sandy would prefer to own and drive………..right?.
it's pretty convenient, there are huge shortcuts on the main screen. And you can use the control knob to navigate, I found myself using the screen quite rarely. And there's quite reliable self steering
1:00 - of course you're a car reviewing channel! But unlike any other, you review the car down to the last individual piece... 🙂
SCNR
11:00 don't Tesla Model X have similar sensor but hidden?
What is MBH? EAC? I think if BMW cared about aerodynamics they wouldn't have open wheel wells all around. The lights appear to be flashing?
Too much to go wrong here in 7 years the car will be virtually scrap metal
you'll have pleasant 7 years first :) it's about 10% of someone's life
Yes but based on previous high end bimmers the systems might only last 5 years rendering it completely useless by 7 years.@@KDR816
What about the new/faceliftet model 3?
Sweet Chrysler 300😂
I thought the same thing!! :)
Right out of the lucid play book, build an expensive car for a tiny market. But will they make any money?
A big car like this and no Frunk?? Another ICE based car not taking advantage of flexibility an EV allows for. You may not use the Frunk a lot but when you need it, it's really nice.
Director of Commercial Operations.
You praise the engineering on one hand, but then the lack of a frunk is a great example of lazy engineering.
As if a frunk is required in an i7
@@ΘάνατοςΧορτοφάγοςThe comments sections of these videos are always full of infantile nonsense, mostly from Tesla fanboys or people that know nothing about engineering or tech but think they do.
@@JohnnyZenith When you look under the hood, the whole thing is a waste of space. Take a look at the Lucid engineering, it's elegant. The BMW looks like a sloppy attempt at an EV from a company that is hardwired to build ICE vehicles. I bet this car weighs 1000lbs more than a Lucid or Model S.
Nothing about the cracks of the Telsa Model Y cracks in Gigacast front? Really, nothing?
What is Telsa ,dumbo ? 😂
Lots of finger print options on the read door entertainment center control screen . You know what am taking if you keep rubbing off fingerprint off your smartphone screen.
Wow love it ❤❤❤❤❤
"Give me some suede, some leather" - like there is only one car with one trim level available.
Maybe they did the cloth seats for improved vent/cooling? Perforating leather/suede is a challenge.
