No. Depends on the grapes, what region they’re from and if something is added to the flavor. I love white wine, the best ones are sweet from the grapes but not too sweet/sugar-y.

If you want to start, light beers, cider or fortified wine would be a good beginning point! Light beers and most ciders are usually 3.5%-4% alcohol by volume and some of the ciders just taste like fruit juice, only you feel silly after drinking a few 😂 Fortified wine (port and sherry being the main two) are just super sweet, you don’t get that sharp bitter aftertaste that you do sometimes with wine. I know some people just don’t drink, my mum doesn’t but just suggestions if you would like to and are of legal age in your country too! Yeah, but for Polish people like us when you have a comparison between a strong drink made out of rectified spirit and fruit, a 40% vodka and 30% flavoured vodka the latter just tastes like juice whereas for Connor everything over 20% burns, boy got some real monkey energy there. @@misiek9989 In the US you can call 30% vodka a thing. Most Vodka here is 35-40% for the common commercial vodkas. You can get like 20% vodka as well but that's usually flavored vodkas like blue-raspberry and such.
i never understood why port or sherry is called wine, it is wine with brandy (sherry) or wine with grape spirit (port). Wine has 7-16% alcohol depending on type but most of the time its not more than 13%. Metaxa is congnac with muscat wine, and yet nobody calls it cognac.

As a child of amateur sommeliers, port is generally considered the point at which wine and hard liquor collide. Our house bottle of port is about 19% so Connor is justified in saying no wine goes as high as 20 percent
Same with Heineken. You can get that swivel anywhere in a foreign country, but the general consensus in the Netherlands is that it's only mildly preferable to piss.
I love Rum, Whiskey and Mead quite a lot. Not a huge wine guy, though technically mead is a wine, but still. Though I love making all kinds of cocktails, so I will drink almost anything in that regard. But straight, definitely those three.
