Corvette 12 bolt differential rebuild (Tom's)

C2 Corvette diff rebuild, Tom's takes a Corvette10-bolt case and modifies it to install a GM 12 Bolt ring and pinion. The ring and pinion is no longer available. We are rebuilding it with new Timken bearings and re shimming the Eaton posi clutch stack into a new carrier, also need to make adapter brackets for the case spreader to work on the corvette differential.

If that pinion seal is the same part# as a 12 bolt, the Ratech is the ONLY seal that will work without putting something under the seal lip.
It's part #RAT-6109 from Summit.
I have the same issue when i build 12 bolts and i found this seal.
Nice diff, it's a shame you can't get those gears anymore.
