I would love to know where you found a decent 12 bolt rear end housing for $100 that fit that 65 thru 67 because the later models are about an inch wider, but they can be used in the earlier 📳 as well.
I still want to know where I can get one for about $100???

Don’t sweat the pinion depth. Just toss her together. Typical Elmore the hack video.

Anyone know where you can find one of those axle stands like the one they're using?

@@davegerrard6857 Sure, I could build everything myself, but I work a lot so I would rather buy some things and work on my car.

No pinion depth measurements?????? This would have been a good video if they took the time to show all the measurements and proper build. This video taught me nothing about building a 12 bolt. All it showed me is how to destroy a $2k rear after 500 miles.

Bout to throw in that ole 12 bolt. Now most of you poor people would just install it without the $12,000 in parts we get for free. We're gonna make you feel like starting any project like ours is impossible because you don't have endorsements and a budget the size of the national debt.

So you didn't set the pinion depth!!! This is not the advise I would be giving people.

Well back when this was filmed we thought the hot rodding racing community was gonna imports breathed life back into it for a bit but it the hobby is now dying but not by video games like thought the cost of living doesnt allow the young to have money for these sort of things then we have the price of used parts going higher and higher then the price of a used car to do this with is stupid expensive not to mention youtubers have really ruined the car hobby they create trends which in turn causes prices to go up the little guy can't really afford the car hobby anymore
The car hobby will never completely die but it will become something that only the wealthy can afford its note worthy to mention that your average 20 something year old doesn't really have the skils or mindset to start a car build as a result I've seen a lot of unfinished projects not running for sale and they're stupid expensive it's hard to say this but it might be best to let the hobby die for a while it will force builders enthusiasts parts manufacturers and everyone else involved to step back andre access they're priorities and it's affect on the hobby
