It brought tears to my eyes to see the joy in that woman's eyes over that guitar. Her accomplishments appear to be extremely numerous. I don't know if it's the P90 pickups or just the vintage of the guitar but, none of my five Les Paul's have that warm and tone. Love you girl!

I am from Chicago and just hearing her talk you can tell she is originally from Chicago.. people from Chicago can always point out a fellow Chicagoan just by the way she talks and sounds. What an amazing life this lady has lived and what talent she has playing all those instruments. I was hoping to get a glimpse of her playing that guitar. My grandparents also raised me on Les Paul and Mary Ford. Mary is a very underrated guitarist and could keep up with and match Les lick for lick. I would love to sit down and talk guitar and music with Windy Lindy! I could only imagine how much that guitar would go for... those 1952 LPs had the cool trapeze tailpiece connected to the bridge. I wouldn't even care about how much money somebody offered me because I love guitar so much and to have an original Les Paul guitar and be the only owner like her, Or at least have had it as long as she's had it If she isn't the original owner and to personally have all that history with it like she has, I would never sell that guitar.🎸❤

I'd love to hear more of her story and yes she clearly is musical wizard. "Our piano player died so I bought an organ and played it and the guitar along with the vibes and all these other crazy things". When did you learn to play the organ, the vibes and the foot pedal stuff!!? What a badass!

@@The_Cat_Authority Even if you learned guitar and understood how music worked does't mean you have the automatic capacity to use your fingers in a completely different way. Absolutely ignorant, or just lying. Look at you trying to take from an older women's achievements. What an amazing amount of jealousy. Just take the time to learn to play. Clearly you've tried and j can't get it. It takes years for some..... Or
give us all a link and show us you playing every instrument.
Yep, now you're going back to the only thing you can play and that's your skin flute

Correct. I have a 1968 gold top that I bought in 1969. Indeed , the pickups will hum like crazy. It's close to a 56, same specs. Made a mistake pairing it with a transistor amp...these guitars are made for tubes.

Miss Lee certainly is a treasure!
A lot of Musicians could take a page from her book and learn the old K.I.S.S. Principal.
I've personally played professionally for 35 years and every band I've put together MUST follow that principal.
There's nothing worse than "technical difficulty" when trying to perform live!🙄
    Cheers, Miss Lee!
I hope to hear your playing sometime soon!

You have a very beautiful Les Paul that any guitar player would be proud to own. If you want to get the most money for it, contact Joe Bonamassa the professional musician and guitar collector. He loves the story behind the guitar as much as the guitar and he will pay you more than any music store dealer would. GOD bless You !!!
