It has been hinted several times in the game that Varik is actually Ness, and it seems like Dr. Andonuts' Magicant is a fusion between his and Varik's, since there are many things only Ness has seen.
That's why Giygas is present, Varik is remembering Giygas.

This was the first time I heard Megalovania. This version's still awesome, but after coming back from the Undertale version (even the Homestuck version!) I find this version feels... mellower? Like a "baby" version of this tune. Fitting how the song appears to have grown with the creator.

I raised my weapon damage by hacking and this fight was still a royal pain in the ass, I love it so much though, he's backed into a corner and lashing out with everything he has, it's such a badass showdown.
People complain about his language. And I don't see anything wrong with it at all. He has been going insane for quite a while because his son died, and then Varik(or, in this case, Lea) kept hitting him, even though he nicely told him to STOP. I would probably start swearing too by that point.

Varik was slicing the crap out of him, Poo was using PSI Lightning B almost every turn.
Paula was freezing Andonuts all the time, and Jeff...

Varik barely needed to be healed, I has the sol armor along with fire & h20 pendents, so I was able to get through the fire phase without problems.

The dialog in this hack is actually pretty good. It makes you feel some type of way when you kill an enemy that does not fight back especially the "Remember Me?" enemy early on in the game. I guess you can say that there was only a dip in dialog quality during the Dr. Andonuts fight. Overall, you guys should definitely play the hack. You will see where parts of Undertale come from.

I mean, it's in no way harming your life.
And you only hate it because it has a fan base.
unless you have a good argument about why you dislike Undertale without saying fan base and actually mentioning stuff IN the game, don't bother responding.
Undertale was kind of bland for me when I played its demo. It's too much money, the player character is too slow, it's concept isn't really new, the game tries too hard to make you cry sometimes, random jokes, 2 final bosses are jokes, and there's nothing really good, not even from looking at the boss battles in the first game.

And it's story isn't something special.
Unless you decide to actually look at the game from another perspective.
