  • The X-Touch is equipped with a plethora of tools designed to bring the flexibility of your DAW right to your fingertips. With 9 touch-sensitive motorized faders, 8 dynamic LCD scribble strips, 8 rotary encoders, 92 illuminated buttons, 8-segment LED meters on each channel, and dedicated transport controls, the X-Touch allows you to achieve incredible in-depth physical management over your projects.
Here's Rae-Sjan, music producer and engineer at the X-Ray Room Studios with his views on the X-Touch and why he loves it!

🚨 NIGHT MODE 🚨 for Behringer X touch. Will illuminate the the button's LEDs at different velocities when on or off. Which would allow a better sense of direction across the behringer console in darker studio settings. Would this be useful yes or no? comment on why it would or wouldn't work for your workflow. I’ve been in contact with behringer’s team and they are planning to implement this feature!!! Only thing is it has no time frame. If I can get people to like this idea and tag behringer , they said priority for this would be ASAP. Please like and tag Behringer if you would like to have a NIGHT MODE FEATURE #Behringer

The button layout for Ableton Live 11 sucks. 50% has no function. The body is very high so you can‘t see the lights around the encoders. The information on the displays are only readable when you have the right seat position. And the best: The behringer support is trash. I change to Icon Pro. Icon controllers can fully customized for all major DAW and the body fits to the extenders without black tape stripes. Yes, the X-touch is a cheap solution for beginners but after a few sessions you see and feel what i meen.

Build quality is HORRIBLE....faders are not smooth.... noisy... Also on various DAWS such as Fl or reaper you need to use scripts to get the most out of it.... i think you need to experience other control surfaces....

Thats a little unfair as with reaper you need to apply scripts to get the better feature coverage with any controller.

The faders are smooth, and are not noisy, sorry

My faders are smooth, the X Touch follows teh “Mackie” protocol. FL needs to get its act together concerning the Mackie protocol.
I use LUNA works as it should, there is a learning curve when controlling plugins, but easy to learn

The fader noise is ok, when you working with headphones. When i work with speakers the noises are to loud. But the smoothness is one of the better features - under Ableton Live 11.
