This was refreshingly humble and genuine. He seems like a genuinely really nice guy which isn’t always the case for actors who found fame in their teens 💪🏼

Lol that was my reaction, then I thought...Look how complicated fame can be, if I declined that Japanese TV show interview, they wouldn't air the clip or email me, it would be a non-issue.
You can go to Japan for fun too. Doing plenty of research you can get plane tickets and expenses for under $2k if you’re frugal. Save for a year or two and bob’s your uncle. There are even sites that will let you buy your ticket 10-12 months in advance and pay as you go. There are hotels you can book and not pay up front. The trick is being able to afford being off work and getting the time off as well. But that too can be arranged with ingenuity and planning.
@@worshadar150They would though. It's literally point of the show. They talk to random foreigners, then ask to document their time in Japan (contacting usually via email). When they asked him, they didn't know who he was, of course once they found out, i am sure they really wanted him on the show..
But sometimes they put in clips of 'regular' people who ghost them as well 😂

If you look at him at events/fan signings right after s4 released vs now, there is truly a world of difference. I think that will show up in his acting in the final season of Stranger Things too and really be able to embrace his character. I think that time off with the delay of filming and being able to focus on his band, friends, family and other things for a while did a world of difference with anxiety and socialization.

They teach that in school. That way the person asking the question feels engaged. Watch any public speaker, anywhere nowadays. They all say it. It's not genuine.
It's when a non-american or Canadian says it that it hits harder. As you say it is often taught and so means not as much. Not such a habit in UK
He seems like a very down-to-earth young man, really hope Hollywood doesn’t ruin that as it has for so many.

He’s been a child actor. He’s keeping himself humble which is good, he doesn’t waste his money on insane things and is the type to invest or spend it on his passions like music and directing
Kinda funny that he described Da Bomb as "battery acid". Finn played Richie in "IT", and in the original 90's version, after Seth Green's Richie takes a hit of Eddie's inhaler, he says it tastes like "battery acid".

Man, it's crazy that a lot of us grew up with Child Actors from the Disney era who fell off a cliff, and then we see Finn and his castmates and it's just a bunch of down-to-earth people who are awesome.
I find it funny that I always forget that Ryan Gosling was a Disney child actor. He's arguably one of the biggest actors in the world now. So they don't all fall off. I believe Adam Scott was one too

I just personally love Finn’s genuine calm and sweet energy. He’s always so chill and naturally funny. I’ve been a fan of Stranger Things for 6 years since I was 15 and have always admired Finn as a person and his incredible talents as an actor and musician. I was so excited when I got the chance to meet him virtually through Fanmio almost 3 years ago and despite the time limit of the interaction and the hundreds of other fans he had spoken to prior to me he was so lovely and took the time to answer all the questions I asked him thoughtfully. I’ll always support him and his work and know he’ll continue to accomplish so many great things in his future!
He’s not really calm though. Definitely has social anxiety… Look how he sways back and forth in the chair.

Finn went toe to toe with Sean in the interview, and performed better than a load of media personalities twice his age. Sincere, humble, intelligent dude who's gonna go really far as long as he doesnt get chewed up and spat out by the machine, I really wish him the best!

Finn inspired the naming of our son. We couldn’t think of a name at all. Then we were watching Stranger Things, saw “Finn” in the credits, and we were immediately sold.

I'm 15 minutes into the video and Sean said it... Finn is most definitely an old soul. My idea of his age is so messed up since I remember the beginning of Stranger Things like it was yesterday, but I actually thought he was OLDER than 21 at this point. He's more worldly and intelligent than most people I considered "adults" growing up. I wish him all the best in the future, maybe he could be a teen Loki in some future MCU stuff?

Pleasantly surprised, Finn has a great sense of humour.
One of my favourite celebrity encounters ever was sitting across from Finn on the bus. The first season of Stranger Things had just come out a few weeks before. I paused my music to listen to him and his friends excitedly chatting about a party they were going to. At one point he made eye contact with me and we smiled at each other. So cool to see he is just as friendly and down-to-earth as he was that day.
I think I also saw Finn once at a store and I didn’t get time to say hi but it was very cool to see him there if it was him I didn’t get to see his face to ask him if it was him or not so I’m not completely sure

Although it seems crazy to me that our society introduces young people to psychedelic drugs before spicy food... I love both of these things, but they should be first experienced in the other order. Spicy food doesn't alter a developing brain like psychedelics do.
