Honestly I hope not - I really think they should step away for a few months to iron out the bugs, design issues and feedback/improvements that the content creator test highlighted pretty vividly.
Their Early Access launch window is 2024. So they could release later on in Sept/Oct etc. This way they are bound to lessen the potential negative review sh*t storm of people pointing out obvious flaws with the game rn (regardless of its EA state).

@@iTomBass I think it'll be end of May or early June. After the streamer event I think they'd need like a month to implement all the changes. But in Early Access who knows. Capitalize on the Tarkov refugees and add those changes as we play. Smart move is a month, business move is ASAFP.

I'm excited to try this but also very cautious it's releasing tomorrow. I watched a lot of the creators videos on this (including those who were included in the video) and the majority sentiment was that there was a lot of positives but quite a few negatives that should be ironed out before Early access launch; this video obviously only shows the positives. Tomorrow will be interesting...

This game needed to bake. Now they’ll be in perpetual development surrounding the community. Endlessly having to try and please us. I hope they’re ready for it. Their dev cycle is about to go to absolute hell with the amount of feedback they’re going to receive. Hopefully they can manage better than tarkov devs

The servers couldn’t even handle the steamers they invited. The game was just simply bare bones and didn’t have a lot of content to offer.
This EA will do more harm than good for the dev track of the game. It’s exactly what happened to tarkov. They are now in perpetual development surrounding the community and they will forever have to comply and try to manage our expectations.
Peoples expectations for this game are already through the roof. There was not that much there in the alpha.

Since this video is using only positive sound bites from creators I really hope they listened to their critcisms too because they brought up some good points. @OperatorDrewski made an excellent video on the state of the game and it's strengths and weaknesses that I think players should check out before shelling out money for the Founder's Edition.
Yeah, great move by the publisher to get it out now. Many disgruntled Tarkov players will jump on it now, even if the game looks better than it is. I'm taking it easy and will watch it unfold before doing anything

Dude, as much as i'd love for tarkov to have strong competition, this is nowhere near the potential to do so for at least a couple of years, if it survives this far (spoiler, if you're realistic, you know it wont)

A Laotian here, our country is a very small country so I’m really glad to see it in a video game. Although there are some weird spelling mistakes, but it’s so cool.

Way too early for release from what content creators have show. Hope MadFinger is confident enough their EA game will be able to handle the massive influx. They are riding the BSG negative hype train but they risk to fall in the same boat as BSG in the early years. Fingers crossed for Grayzone Warfare.
Watched the trailer, heard a few random dudebros barely able to articulate why this game is "good" or "promising" while watching bland alpha footage of people clicking head like it's never been done before, and then getting instantly brought back to reality with the info at the end: this unfinished alpha will be out to the public before it even has a decent trailer that's not ridiculously vague and cringy, and/or mentions a single unique and interesting fact about the game.
How can we possibly be exited to see yet another "tactical sandbox" go out the door half-baked ?

It seemed to me to be more of a validation trailer or as we say in authoritative advertising in Brazil, voices of some good players exploring the good points of the product...they did it in cybepunk using the image and appearance of the actor Keenu Reeves...nothing invalidates the game, but the fact is that we live in an era where marketing has to adapt more.
I hope the producer listens to their fan base that is being built and makes the best product possible!! It has extraordinary potential, I hope for a good product, strength, will and determination! Gratitude to everyone.
I would like to see LPVOs become either realistic with a hand animation in order to magnify, or have something like ground branch where you scroll wheel it.
