Everything has gone backwards. Look at the new Mad Max movie, CGI is absolute garbage and Fury Road came out almost a decade ago and has infinitely better CGI.
I said this on Twitter and I'll say this here again. This is a dream come true for me. Delta Force was the first ever shooter I've played and Black Hawk Down was my favorite. I can't wait to play it again as an adult
yeaaaa don't get your hopes up. The original DF dev is long dead and this is a chinese f2p mobile game developer whose turning your beloved IP into a free2play hero shooter with a faux futuristic setting. This isnt Delta Force, this is some chinese developer wearing its skin

@@TheTrunkmonkay I agree that sadly it took a Chinese mobile game developer to resurrect Black Hawk Down, but at least it's SOMETHING us military shooter fans have been asking for. How many FPS devs can you think of that actually gives us a proper single player campaign for a military shooter and not another COD Multiplayer clone??
21 years ago when the old Delta Force: Black Hawk Down game came out, we spent hours playing it at LANs, one of the best multiplayer/co-op experiences with friends and family, we hitting our 40s and 50s and the same group of us are looking to get the gang together to play this when it comes out.
Which I was in that gang! Lol
My old Delta Force crew used to keep in touch via private message board, it's long gone now tho. Miss those guys

The very first Delta Force game got me the sharpshooter badge in the military no joke! 26 years ago but it had realistic bullet drop mechanics, waaaaaay ahead of its time. So upon entering the military i thought i would compensate bullet drop the same way i did for hundreds of hours in Delta Force. Guess what? It worked!
You mean shooting to 300 m where you just have to hold center of mass on almost every target?
Second Game was also fantastic 👌. It was the first military fps shooter I ever played in my entire life.

Dude, I remember playing delta force java version when I was a kid lol... I liked that game a lot. Now seeing this makes me nostalgic, time flies.

As opposed to the M4A1 with quad rails they had in the first trailer, which wasn't even heard of in 1993

Few questions:
1) is the location shown based off the movie or actual Somalia? There’s a huge difference in locations (they filmed in Morocco because Somalia is…well, Somalia but if I had not said that I don’t think anyone would have known the difference).
2) if this is Delta Force, why is the PC using a full length M16A2 and not the 723 CAR-15s the unit was running around with during that time?
3) why is the front sight post dialed up really high? What is the battle sight zero, 25y? If it was dialed correctly, the top of the post would be a good 1/4” below the top of the wings. Not hard to find any documentation or video explaining how A1 and A2 fixed sights work.
Yea seems like they based it off the movie and some other Middle Eastern warzones… the real target building doesn’t look like that in real life also the real Mogadishu downtown area didn’t had that many high rises at the time … the largest building in the black sea area was the olympic hotel…
@@SimsZan yeah, doesn't look anything like Mogadishu - they followed the film ( as did the original game - don't forget... google maps and all the online ref we take for granted didn't exist when the game was developed... we would have designed it much differently now, knowing what Mogadishu really looks like )

The graphic is amazing and the nostalgia is surely overwhelming but i highly doubt it would evoke the same emotion as when I started playing BHD in 2004.

I couldn't agree more. I was 13 years old when I started playing online. Blackhawk Down was the first one I got into. {25thINF} Infinity. That was my PlayStation 2 name.
Black Hawk Down was my favorite video game as a kid and I can’t wait to play it again with a new engine and upgraded graphics.

@muhammadgreen it's developed by Tencent, they able to do anything even made Arena Breakout into pc.
Campaign is only for pc and console.
@muhammadgreen the game is still planned to release for android and ios though. Tencent will make it happen one way or another

@muhammadgreen UE5 runs fine on phones. Lots of devs don't put the resources into optimizing their games and assets though. Source: my day job as an Unreal C++ developer...

Am I crazy, or is that a repeating sound bite of walking from Escape From Tarkov? Right at the end when it shows the "Learn More" screen you can hear the footstep really well. Maybe it is just similar but it is near identical...

Looks a bit like a misson from original BHD when you have to gather lost soldiers in Mogadishu.
This trailer and the one on your website look like two completely different games. This one makes it look like a slow paced almost Six Days like experience. The one on your website makes it look like a modern day zoomer shooter with people firing grappling hooks from their arms etc. The two seem to be at odds.
