For those who might be confused about Armor, Level 3 is when you start getting into proper hard plates. Everything from 3a down is soft armor meant for pistols, shotguns, some slug rounds and if you get extremely lucky, maybe some rifle hollow points. 3 can stop common rifle rounds, 3+ is hardened to stop some of the more prolific armor piercing rounds like M855A1. Level 4 is the armor you want. That's the armor that can eat AP rounds and is rated to stop at least 1 round of 30-06 AP ammo. If your military isn't bootleg, they're using Level 4 plates.
@@spikex8 Could be a thin steel sheet more than a plate. The game seems to use actual real life armor ratings, not arbitrary levels. IIIA in real life is "rated" to stop pistol rounds. It can be made of whatever you want, the rating doesnt come from the material, it comes from the performance.
And the order goes: 1A - 1 - 1+ - 2A - 2 - 2+ - 3A - 3 - 3+ - 4A - 4 - 4+? Can someone give an explanation what the thinking behind that system is. Looks so weird to me.

I really have to appreciate here, that you ask people to try and do the quests as they are intended instead of just uaing guides. That is something that because of the internet (even though I really appreciate it in general), barely even exists in games like this anymore. So while the internet is technically a really good thing, it has turned alot of games into boring grinding and someone that does these guides telling people to just experience the game is really appreciated.
Great video AWM, especially the run-down on the medical, armor, and ammo systems. I'm used to these kinds of things having played the ACE mod for ARMA 3, but this was great for people who have never played a game like that and have no experience with real-world first aid, weapons, and armor. Even coming from Tarkov this is an added layer of realistic complexity that needs a little explaining. Hopefully in the near future they add a tutorial (even if it's just a brief written explanation) to help people along for whom all of this is totally new.
Super excited to get my hands on this game at some point and this genuinely felt like all the info you might need to just pick it up and start trying to get in there. The explanation of the healing and ammo/armor systems is probably the most valuable information you could have going into a game like this and is the most frustrating thing to have to try and figure out on your own.
Regarding tough quests and interacting with other PMCs (and I must admit that I'm a filthy PvE casual for now), one of the coolest interactions I've had to far is asking a random PMC at the base camp if they have a particular quest and he doesn't even inquire why I ask this, just goes straight into "It's here, here, and here, bitch of a quest". Incredibly wholesome. I see a lot of ex-tarkov players bemoan the faction system but I think with some fine-tuning and more depth, it's an excellent system. (But I also can definitely see why some tarkovites don't really like it that much.)
Been able to ask even mute players for help with quests. Are you on this quest. They shake with answer and ask for help and follow. Just don't be dead weight and help. It's simple enough. Also have already called in a heli to base sooner than someone else and offered them to jump on. It's been nice with pve and helping others. Even found a player that was bugged and could not access their locker. So I dropped them gear to get them going again.

@Airwingmarine I'll be honest I think I prefer not needing to sweat like crazy listening to audio behind my own footsteps worried if someone hears me every second of the game. I wonder sometimes if you take a game like tarkov and dumb down the audio to like COD levels how much fun the game could be. solid video thank you. Everyone in the comments comparing it to tarkov is silly. Let this game have its own space and develop over time. Tarkov has had years and millions of dollars
I've been waiting for this video. As always thanks
Great explanation. Subscribed.
thanks!
Super helpful! Thank you!
glad I could help!
As always very informative, thank you! Was a bit skeptical before but now I'm more comfortable in considering a purchase
Extremely helpful! Loved every second of this video. Easy to listen to and well thought out. Thank you!
New viewer here!! Very helpful video, appreciate the time and work you put into it to help some of us who struggle or take a bit more time to pick up tips and tricks for these types of games. Happy gaming! :D
Definitely got a sub and like from me, I never got into tarkov but always wanted to dive into an extract shooter so im grinding GZW and im liking it so far
First and for most, I want to congratulate you for the quality of videos you produce now. I remember giving you a hard time for being too 'wordy'. Your right on point, your clear, and you move on without wasting any unnecessary time. You've earned a resub! :)
And you are the messiah of youtube content judgement?
@@TheVendunari lol. No. But everyone's a critic right? If iI mention a suggestion or change and I see that change I still want to make sure I thank them for making the change. Easy to shit on people on the internet, even harder to congratulate them.
good video, great transition from that one scammy game to this gem. One question can you customise guns? And how do you do it?
Yup, very similar system to Tarkov, just very basic. You have to do it in your inventory
Great video! Thank you. Keep the good work, cheers from Argentina.
Brother as always well done, love you content and I will 100% support you more with no streaming Tarkov which is definitely the feeling from all of us, is time to move on and give love and hope to another game, GZW is green but I trust.
Will say this was pretty informative for being released two days ago. Spot on guy
I really like the game and am looking forward to your great videos. Really liked the streams leading up to the public early access release. Great stuff!
3A armor came in clutch for me today, I definitely feel like the best armor is needed for a smooth brain like myself.
was hesitant to try this game out but not anymore, thanks my dude
The healing system in this game is actually really intuitive, they did a good job at making everything tell you what you need to know without too much or too little
I was looking for exactly this kind of video, thank you so much!

Yep, stopping massive bleeding is the top priority in TCCC
How is the audio in this game compared to tarkov? Watched some streams and walking around didnt seem to be like elephant footsteps from 60 meters away which seems nice.
The audio is generic. It's not bad, it's not great. But it's an alpha so I don't expect much more than that at this point.
I understand that isn't the goal, but I just am not a huge fan of an expensive headset being mandatory and every single move you make sends audio queues 3 miles out. People may disagree, but I think that audio design promotes rats cause people are afraid to move.
great video and great tips. thank you
You are so welcome!
Great stuff, very informative. Thank you!
dude your gaze looks inside my soul
Top bloke airwingmarine, nice video, thanks for this. Tarkov vets are hopefully going to love this game.
On point as always! Thank you for your content. Big fan
Nice video brother, thank you. I'm surprised you don't have more subs.
Appreciate the video man ! Thank you
nice one mate thanks for share
RIP Tarkov. You lasted too long and stood no chance with BSG behind you. Best of luck.

Great advice! You are legend.
Very informative new sub!

As always dude!... great video.... informative... love the content :) keep it up!
Fun tip, since it's real time with the npcs and Ai, wait for a group of people to wipe the area out before doing stuff and Vice versa
