Crazy Dog Lady a lot of people on the streets in the uk are druggies, but we do help homeless people. i can't walk into a shop without seeing at least 3 charity boxes for the homeless lol

Emma Yarington Wow what an ignorant statement. 'Druggies' as you call them are people. They don't choose to be homeless. They don't chose that life. There are so, so, so many factors that go into making someone so addicted to a substance that it leads to homelessness. They deserve compassion just like anybody else. There are social, political, economic, mental and physical health issues that lead to drug addiction. People don't end up homeless and addicted to heroin as a fun hobby. In a different life, it could. Happen to any one of us.
I work in a Tesco store, and we used to waste so much food! But in the past few months, we've started doing this thing where we scan in all the food that we can't sell anymore, like things from the bakery that were made that morning, fruit and veg that looks a little odd etc, and the food banks nearby us can choose what they'd like and can come collect it the next day! If no food banks claim the food, its then put into our "colleague shop"- which we can take home for free. So much less food has been wasted since we've started doing this!

RobinOrzo I know, I can’t believe how much food we used to waste! it’s really great, and has made such a difference to our store! It’s nice to be helping out our local food banks, and also a bit of a bonus when you come in to work and find there are some free maple and pecan plaits for the staff 😂

Yes I noticed this her accent is one of my favorite British accents I’ve heard on the internet I’m also American so from what I’ve heard she definitely has a more British accent than most people and her slang is definitely really hard core but I love it!

Hey taz! I just made up this challenge. I don't know what to call it but I think it's a great idea. The main point of the challenge is to go 24 hours on full survival mode. It might sound hard at first, but there's a couple of things that can help you out. The day before, you have a budget of 10£ and can go out buying everything you would need to survive the challenge. You are also allowed to bring three items from your home with you. You have to stay outside the whole time. It's like an overnight challenge. Your are can be anywhere you would like you also have two free passes where you can go into some place warm and sheltered. You can use one of those passes to go buy stuff, but as soon as you start the challenge you have a budget of 1£. If anything seems to hard-unfair, you are allowed to tweak of change the challenge. If you see this comment, or do this challenge, best of luck!

You should do “a friend (or someone you know) picks your food for a week” and they are not allowed to ask you any questions about what foods you like. Btw I love your videos taz, keep up the great work!

This video has inspired me to try to do the same thing in my community like the fridge idea. I am going to see if local shops in town would be interested in something like this. I don't like taking food from stuff like that or reduced stuff cause I'm scared of it being old or poisonest
Meet Niki if it’s reduced it won’t do any harm because it’s against the law for supermarkets to give u old food that could hurt you. Also, the way to tell if something is bad it to smell it, so many things often don’t look the best but are actually still good to eat but because they don’t look perfect they get wasted
I doubt it would be poisoned. As for 'being old' when it comes to food, I always inspect the food carefully if it's packaging is see through. If I see any issues such as liquid leaking inside and/or discoloration I AVOID it.

I think the public fridge idea is so cool because in my area it is mainly made up of upper class houses but there are still alot of people living in poverty in the town so it would make alot of sense to help them out but on the flip side it's like food banks where people have too much pride to use them or they don't want to be looked down on
