There's been a lot of requests for what to use instead of NiceHash, that's just as easy & simple. Here's a quick video of the Top 3 programs that might be able to replace NiceHash for you. While they may not be the best mining programs for Bitcoin or altcoins, they serve the need of being a quick, one-click solution like NiceHash.

Minergate steals money by reducing your hashing power. I read it on internet and tried myself. My RX580 8gb hash at 830h/s manually and also in nicehash but minergate only hash at 650h/s. Same with etherium. I was hashing 30Mhs but minergate showed only 20Mhs drawing same power. Look up its well known scam they are running.
Now i run manually on pools(minerhubpool and supernova).

Old cards will usually burn more power than they can make. Unless you are using it like a space heater (where you are just using small space heaters), then its a terrible idea. It would be like paying me $10 and I give you $1 back, so you just lose $9.

have been using winminer but after watching my 1060 consistently earn more than my 1070ti in the same machine didn't feel good to run my gpus with them and just using them for cpus atm. from what i heard about minergate they do skim off the top so wouldn't feel good to mine there either. kryptek i just dunno, no comment lol. maybe look into awesome miner again but just goes to show what a decent job nicehash actually did. rip !! . . . . . thanks for taking the time to get such good info out there so fast :D it's a bit like the wild west atm and we need people to keep a cool head and not dive in unknowingly leaving themselves vulnerable. NICE VIDEO !!

Hey man I'm a new miner like today new and So when I mine with nicehash It will say I'm mining about .0010 bitcoins yet still say I'm only making about 10 cents but when you got to google and do the conversion it says 90. and with nicehases 3% fee that comes to about 80 something. sooooo what gives? is the nicehash conversion wrong or?

I am so grateful for your style of videos and I think its awesome that you are a pastor that is into tech... that being said could you do a video that dives into more about the ins and outs of Awesome Miner? like talking about the free version compared to the version with gpu overclocking. I have 2 computers each with 2 gpu's in each (Rig 1, g3258 powered amd build with a r9 fury X and a r9 380 4gb. Rig 2, i7 5820k with a 980 ti and a 960) and I'd like to get the most out of both rigs while I learn about the ins and outs. Thanks for your hard work and great videos and God bless.

Have been testing MinerGate for about 3 days running a rig with 12 1080 Ti cards.
I agree with your suspicion when you say that they may be skimming of the top.
The revenue is ridiculous. Something is completely wrong. Of course there's no way to prove this, but compared to other mining options I conclude that something must be wrong.
I have been trying to connect to Winminer a couple of days now, but there seem to be a limit or a capacity problem that has prevented me to test that option.
    Kryptek is a joke... Period.

    Vertcoin's OneClickMiner is quite profitable. i'm getting about 3VTC's a day (3x 1060 and 2x 1070 on this rig)
BUT! its halving its profits 12.12.17, meaning we don't know if its still profitable. It might if many miners leave the pools, making the difficulty lower by half.. but time will show.

    • @UFDTech

Well, I do have about 20 years of linux experience, so I'm thinking about going with Ethereum mining using Claymore. Any thoughts on this move? My plan is to start with 2 AMD Vega GPU's, and slowly build from there.

Hady Hayman I went from ~$10 a day on nice hash with 3 1070tis in now getting ~4.5 vert coin a day with vert being ~$8 right now

it is a LOT mind you. I have a 1080ti (underclocked though) but I barely get $6 per day as for now. However, I think $8 is possible but you really need to know when to sell the alt-coin. MONA and VTC prices are dropping down really hard for the last 10 hours and this made it pretty hard to get more than $8 per day now.

Minergate's fees are technically much higher than they appear due to the fees with converting coins (Deposit, conversion and withdrawal from the exchange). That's one reason that I decided to switch to Nicehash. The other being the suspiciously low hash rates with Minergate.
I've been using Multi Pool Miner on my low end rigs and Awesome Miner on my main. I'm making a little bit less right now while I'm trying to get everything sorted out, but still better than Minergate.

Tried them winminer isn't to bad but all of these don't push gpu's at all minergate seemed to stop me atfer 5 hours of eth I couldn't get more. Winminer is the best I've found for payment. Spent a few days looking and testing lol good video keep up the good work

As both my brother and I have been looking for something better. I was hoping this video would help. When really it could be called "3 dodgy alternatives you could use". I'm only new to mining so not sure how people are making more money. But most places I checked out were more dodgy or the payout was just so much less.

With Minergate, try knocking the intensity down to 2/4 after starting mining, then move up to 4/4 afterwards to see if you get the proper hashrate for your cards. This works for me with my RX580 which sometimes shows just 200h/s in MG but does increase to 800h/s once its running properly. I agree, running something such as xmr-stak directly to a pool is the best option but getting a daily payout in BTC from nicehash was just so convenient, so many of us just couldn't resist it!

I was going to look into this after the pain of losing my wallet details during a hard drive crash in the early bitcoin days had subsided :-( But my hardware is doubtful if any profit could be made - a Core i7-2600 (stock) and a Sapphire R9 270X. Really, is it worth it?

      @UFDTech  6 лет назад +1

+Darren Coull You CPU, no. The 270X is likely still profitable my friend. 😁😁😁

Thanks! Downloading Bitcoin Core wallet transactions now... This is going to take a while! Given your original noob guide to bitcoin recommended Nicehash, what's the next best easy setup option? Do I just copy and paste my Bitcoin address into Zpool, Granatas and Hash Refinery into Miner Wizard and let it rip, or more to it than that? Sorry for the noob questions, but last time I did it was many years ago and I used a pre-made setup batch script that ran in a command line window, no GUI whatsoever :-)

I really liked you analysis - 2 things
1 - nicehash will always pay more than pool mining simply because its based on renting hashrate - and rentals always pay more
2 - have you looked into miningpoolhub - its a bit daunting but gives the most flexibility of 'focused' auto profit mining and payouts out in any coin you choose

I dunno if you're still replying to comments on this video, but I want to mine Ethereum via GPU on Minergate, but it says I have low memory, is there a way to increase the memory? I'm using a NVIDIA card. 965 Geforce.
