That kind of video is the very reason why I use your Amazon referrals for all the things I need, but also being a Patreon for you guys. Please keep on doing a good job like this! Huge fan of your work.
I really liked you analysis - 2 things 1 - nicehash will always pay more than pool mining simply because its based on renting hashrate - and rentals always pay more 2 - have you looked into miningpoolhub - its a bit daunting but gives the most flexibility of 'focused' auto profit mining and payouts out in any coin you choose
Winminer lets you mannually choose which coins to mine. Plus, the biggest thing about it, it's portable, BIG WIN here. Payouts are granted in your currency with Paypal.. Great stuff
Minergate steals money by reducing your hashing power. I read it on internet and tried myself. My RX580 8gb hash at 830h/s manually and also in nicehash but minergate only hash at 650h/s. Same with etherium. I was hashing 30Mhs but minergate showed only 20Mhs drawing same power. Look up its well known scam they are running. Now i run manually on pools(minerhubpool and supernova).
The best honest reviews...SUBSCRIBED...what makes me to pressed the subscribed button is " when u boldly mention about not providing affiliate link of all the three company's" while on the other utube channel I see people citing affiliate link at their descriptions.Nice content and best updates so far.Thumbs up...
Just mine a coin manually. Constantly switching is hardly worth it - hold your earnings. Crypto isn’t gonna pay your rent - its gonna pay for your retirement. unless you got in back in 2012... then it buys your lambos
have been using winminer but after watching my 1060 consistently earn more than my 1070ti in the same machine didn't feel good to run my gpus with them and just using them for cpus atm. from what i heard about minergate they do skim off the top so wouldn't feel good to mine there either. kryptek i just dunno, no comment lol. maybe look into awesome miner again but just goes to show what a decent job nicehash actually did. rip !! . . . . . thanks for taking the time to get such good info out there so fast :D it's a bit like the wild west atm and we need people to keep a cool head and not dive in unknowingly leaving themselves vulnerable. NICE VIDEO !!
they did yea lol. i think it was sonofatech did a video and people had a misconception they were mining btc direct. not nicehash's fault but that's not good lol. sorry for your losses but think it's awesome you guys don't wanna give up
Have been testing MinerGate for about 3 days running a rig with 12 1080 Ti cards. I agree with your suspicion when you say that they may be skimming of the top. The revenue is ridiculous. Something is completely wrong. Of course there's no way to prove this, but compared to other mining options I conclude that something must be wrong. I have been trying to connect to Winminer a couple of days now, but there seem to be a limit or a capacity problem that has prevented me to test that option. Kryptek is a joke... Period.
I tested it for one week for monero with two identical rigs (4x GTX 580 3GB, yes gtx not RX) the one with minergate got me ~0,12 Monero, while the one just using xmr-stak and a normal pool brought in ~0,14
My 1050 ti worked fine (14MH/s ETH when overclocked), but my rx 580 was seriously underperforming, it was getting the same 13/14MH/s that the 1050 ti was... I switched to claymore, and it works great!
Winminer recently updated to better choose the algos and fixes the program not mining at all. Kudos for them for handling the swarm of people coming from NiceHash like pros.
Just so you know, there's fees everywhere. Claymore's got developer fee of 1% for ethereum-only and 2% for dual mining. Pool got 0.5% to 2% fees in general. When you convert fees there's fees too. So, whatever you do, just try to keep the fee as low as possible and accept that there's some even using simple mining software.
With Minergate, try knocking the intensity down to 2/4 after starting mining, then move up to 4/4 afterwards to see if you get the proper hashrate for your cards. This works for me with my RX580 which sometimes shows just 200h/s in MG but does increase to 800h/s once its running properly. I agree, running something such as xmr-stak directly to a pool is the best option but getting a daily payout in BTC from nicehash was just so convenient, so many of us just couldn't resist it!
Oh, i love when i hear PIRL ;-))) Looking forward when your doing a video about SMOS. If you need any feedback on that, i currently run 8 Rigs with SMOS.
I tried running SmartMine after setting it up and my antivirus said that it contained a trojan virus. Is my antivirus full of shit or is this program shady?
Most mining software gets detected as a virus because some software used to come with mining background tasks without the user knowing. Don't worry, it's perfectly safe, I've been using it for months now.
I run it and it only gives me an error. Tried on 3 other machines, AMD and Nvidia. the error is Waiting for stats... **Reading log produced an error** I don't know what to do.
Thomas R. Miller All depends what you are mining... Doesn't make sense when ETH requires 0.001 when XMR requires 0.5 but nicehash should be returning tomorrow atleast that's what there website states.
Hi all. Just to add info on Minergate. Their miner DOES give less hashrate that what your hardware is capable but there is a way around this. DON'T USE THEIR SOFTWARE and use your own miner on their pool! Instead of using Minergate to mine Monero, use xmr-stak (or Claymore, or any other) and point it to Minergate's pool. This also goes to any other coin they have. Much more efficient! ☺
+António Marques Fair points! But the point of the video was to compare one click miners similar to NiceHash, not go into pool mining, which is obviously the better choice.
UFD Tech Sure. Just wanted to add that info. I started with Minergate (2 years ago) and was the step that lead me to mine in pools and not with one-click-miners. It's a good start point and your video is very informative. Maybe some would like to pick my info and start mining with miners and pools (more profitable).
Hi. On the main page, go to the bottom and, under "Help" you can find the "Supported miners" link. Once you click that, you go to a page that shows all the supported miners (dah...) you can use with their pools and, on the right side you have a list of commands to use, in each miner, for each pool/coin.
Press on "Add miner", then pres the third option. Select gpu brand and select all the pool that only require bitcoin wallet adress and paste your wallet adress in. This works for me. Had estimated daily earnings of 10 dollars for a few hours today on a gtx 980 ti
winminer was mining zen on my 1080ti's at 3$ per day per card, disabled mining zen cash in the settings and now i'm mining vtc only for 4.75 a day per card which gave me an extra 5$ a day! I'm kinda happy actually.
Tried them winminer isn't to bad but all of these don't push gpu's at all minergate seemed to stop me atfer 5 hours of eth I couldn't get more. Winminer is the best I've found for payment. Spent a few days looking and testing lol good video keep up the good work
By the way, WinMiner is normally able to mine zcash etc but due to major traffic from nicehash they have been having bandwith problems. And in WinMiner settings you can choose what coins and miners to use
Minergate's fees are technically much higher than they appear due to the fees with converting coins (Deposit, conversion and withdrawal from the exchange). That's one reason that I decided to switch to Nicehash. The other being the suspiciously low hash rates with Minergate. I've been using Multi Pool Miner on my low end rigs and Awesome Miner on my main. I'm making a little bit less right now while I'm trying to get everything sorted out, but still better than Minergate.
Vertcoin's OneClickMiner is quite profitable. i'm getting about 3VTC's a day (3x 1060 and 2x 1070 on this rig) BUT! its halving its profits 12.12.17, meaning we don't know if its still profitable. It might if many miners leave the pools, making the difficulty lower by half.. but time will show.
+Bevern Beev Sure, but you're using cards that are good for Vertcoin. I didn't include coin specific ones because people loved that NiceHash swapped based on profitability
minergate skims off the top but they do pay, Kryptek needs more time to be trusted, there is also Computta i am trying it out, easy to setup and it shows you your balance a must have for me. until Nicehash is back up we all gotta check out the new options . Great video as always.
personally i like to keep my coins i specifically hold what i think will do well and get rid of what i dont just my personal preference but good video for people who are just starting out
Maby take a look at BitBeTrippen’s MultiMiner. Its a batch file where you add your wallet address and run it. Very easy to use. Mine al sorts of coins. Active community updating the miner.
Oh goodness. When ppl ask you a bunch of the questions you answer in this video, why don’t you just whip through the answer and point them to this vid if they want a brief but still more in depth answer? It’s not shilling your own vid, it’s helping people (which is pretty much what you seem to try to do) without driving yourself nuts answering the same question so many times in detail that you end up just popping out with a cocky answer 50% of the time. You Brett, for a nice guy, can certainly be a banana head sometimes 🤒. Great vid. Btw, I’m only getting 16.7 hs on Ethereum through Nicehash with a 580, and 650-750 when it switches to cryptonite from daggerm, any ideas? That was a joke btw, I’m switching to direct pool mining. For people having trouble with Nicehash that read this, make sure to set your card to “compute” (if you are using AMD with the new drivers) in the new AMD suite, and if you are not sure of what you are doing, make sure to “uncheck” disable AMD gpu temp control, as hashflare will have no issue pushing your card past 90c for as long as it can. You lose a little $ by unchecking it, but the card should stay between 65c and 75c depending on the card.
In winminer you can set the type of coin youbwould like to mine, you have 100% control over it but its true that you are not getting the most peofitable algorithm all the time. They pay you out in your paypal, so for ease of access and stability I think they are the best
As both my brother and I have been looking for something better. I was hoping this video would help. When really it could be called "3 dodgy alternatives you could use". I'm only new to mining so not sure how people are making more money. But most places I checked out were more dodgy or the payout was just so much less.
After nicehash went down I got unlazy and figured out how to mine pools went with vertcoin and I'm making almost $8 more per card a day than I did with nicehash at this point I will not go back if they start again
it is a LOT mind you. I have a 1080ti (underclocked though) but I barely get $6 per day as for now. However, I think $8 is possible but you really need to know when to sell the alt-coin. MONA and VTC prices are dropping down really hard for the last 10 hours and this made it pretty hard to get more than $8 per day now.
Nothing is better than Nicehash because they're not only a mining program but a market which made buyers and sellers more money. Hopefully they're back before Christmas.
MultiPoolMiner is also an alternative. It's a lot more involved than just wallets, but it's open-source and therefore you can verify that the code isn't doing anything shady. These pre-compiled software solutions are not easy to trust now that NiceHash is gone.
There are so many of these that it gets really confusing for new comers. Mining involves a lot of steps. With Minergate all of that is eliminated. You can start mining right away. You can worry about withdrawal later when you gain some knowledge.
Apparently nicehash is working day and night to get back running. But my question is, how do you start mining without a oneclick miner? Im a noob to mining
How bout Awesomeminer with Zpool enabled and pointed at your BTC address? It's very powerful but requires minimal setting up to seamlessly replace Nicehash, imo
Banks at least have protections against loss, and regulations that require a certain amount of security and monitoring. I would rather keep money under the front seat of my locked car than trust any virtual coin marketplace to hold my money.
great channel man , congrats for 50k I wanted to know if the cryptocurrency mine can damage the equipment in the medium or long term, is it safe if one maintains good temperatures, even 24-7?
Alright.. I watched all the video.. trying to understand everything clear as English is not my native language... and yes, very good video. In the end.. I don't get clear if your conclusion was to use Awesome Miner coupled with what pool? Okay, don't recommend me... what are YOU actually using to mine? Still a noob, but willing to get hands dirty.. I mean, learning to use the software, you know I want a lot of hashes.. and try to be efficient with the watts stuff, and very important to keep it cool here because I live in a hot city. very sunny and hot place. Do you know the mayans? that's a clue. Greeetings!
I think I'm just going to get a job.
don't do it !!!!!!
Fukin normie

what is a job?

how do we mine manually ?
Can you please do a video on how to set up awesome miner
addy mahmoud I would like this. The miner keeps crashing. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Kripconnect
Great video, first one Ive seen that has a showdown of nice hash alternatives.
I enjoy your mining and tech vids. Keep it up man, well done!

Great video man. I was waiting for this :D
+Emmanuel Helene Thanks friend!
Yes i've been waiting for this, thx brett this will help me alot.

It's compatible with my and cards
Thank you , no bull, straight to the point. Like your stuff.
Thank you Brett. Excellent review. Can't wait to slap that 1070 into my rig.
This video help me a lot. Thank You UFD
Please make a video on how to mine in pools. I understand you more than other RUclipsrs out there.
Yep, Minergate sucks, nothing but problems and a 20 coin minimum payout . Thanks for the info .
# 20 coins before payout IF a block is confirmed.

+Waseem H Thanks Waseem!
Agree miner gate has very low h/s but it still probably better then the other ones that's way iam in a pool instead
Will you teach us how to setup awesome miner please?
Press on "Add miner", then pres the third option. Select gpu brand and select all the pool that only require bitcoin wallet adress and paste your wallet adress in. This works for me. Had estimated daily earnings of 10 dollars for a few hours today on a gtx 980 ti
do I need to download anything else or is that it?
I'm not getting the option to add my address
I think you dont
You do good videos man, love them all. Keep putting them out!
winminer was mining zen on my 1080ti's at 3$ per day per card, disabled mining zen cash in the settings and now i'm mining vtc only for 4.75 a day per card which gave me an extra 5$ a day! I'm kinda happy actually.
this has to be one of your best videos, sound quality could be better

Thanks a lot for taking time for sharing info!!! great work!
With minergate you can use the programs that are in the nicehash legacy folders.
So these are your top 3 and they all look sketchy af? Finally got to the end of the video lol. Nice work!
I don't know if I could even recognize a video from this channel without wild hand gesticulations.

Vertcoin's OneClickMiner is quite profitable. i'm getting about 3VTC's a day (3x 1060 and 2x 1070 on this rig)
BUT! its halving its profits 12.12.17, meaning we don't know if its still profitable. It might if many miners leave the pools, making the difficulty lower by half.. but time will show.
+Bevern Beev Sure, but you're using cards that are good for Vertcoin. I didn't include coin specific ones because people loved that NiceHash swapped based on profitability
you can choose which coins to mine in WinMiner. All you had to do was go to settings. Take an ADDERALL while doing your research.
You are right about MInergate, they don't pay what you mined and lower the payout....Otherwise you can withdraw whatever they give you.
Awesome work, really appreciate your hardwork on this!
Vertcoin one click miner is doing just fine for my 1080ti
merci pour votre aide
Same. Made 1.2 VTC in one day!
how many $ you get whit your gtx 1080ti ?
Which pool?
Mark Mosley just my nearest p2pool
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I've been been learning alot from your videos.
+Daywork11 Awesome! Thanks for watching them, friend!
Nice video. For me it is use nice hash or do it yourself with something like clay more.
I also experienced a reduced hashing rate with minergate
minergate skims off the top but they do pay, Kryptek needs more time to be trusted, there is also Computta i am trying it out, easy to setup and it shows you your balance a must have for me. until Nicehash is back up we all gotta check out the new options . Great video as always.
Other miners can be used with the address of miner gate , not limited to their own miner
personally i like to keep my coins i specifically hold what i think will do well and get rid of what i dont just my personal preference but good video for people who are just starting out
+Kem Sprite Thanks friend! Appreciate your perspective!
love the live stream keep it up
such an underrated channel :(
+LuckySaiyanGamer How are we underrated? I rate myself pretty highly.
UFD Tech love the channel xD and a fellow south African just think you deserve way more subs!
+LuckySaiyanGamer 😁😁😁😁 Thanks friend!
I fully agree with you. This is a top notch channel and truly makes me feel proud to be a South African.
awsome miner is my actual favorit over ur select
Thanks for this vid brett i was researching it but was unsuccessful lol 😅😅
Awesome overview! Much needed!!
+Christopher Hansen Thanks! I thought so!
Maby take a look at BitBeTrippen’s MultiMiner. Its a batch file where you add your wallet address and run it. Very easy to use. Mine al sorts of coins. Active community updating the miner.
This is really great content! Thank you so much! Perfect introduction I needed.
Can you review kryptex for 2022?
Just checked Nice Hash is back online! Let the mining begin :)
I would love to see you making a video review on Computta Mining software and what your thoughts are about it
I feel like Minergate steals some power from miners.
You can specify the coin now for winminer
:=) “If you love things that resemble pyramids and multi-level marketing shams then Kryptek could be your jam” .. cracks me up!
+SPAMP 😀😁😁😀
Great video, thank you for thorough analysis and impartial opinion.
what video editing software you use? thank you... everything is pro done. good job.
So what would you use? Really what do you use?
awesome miner is awesome! getting about 30% greater income than when I was using nicehash!
So do you recommend cloud mining such as Genesis mining & Hash Falar rather than all these you have mentioned?
In winminer you can set the type of coin youbwould like to mine, you have 100% control over it but its true that you are not getting the most peofitable algorithm all the time. They pay you out in your paypal, so for ease of access and stability I think they are the best
As both my brother and I have been looking for something better. I was hoping this video would help. When really it could be called "3 dodgy alternatives you could use". I'm only new to mining so not sure how people are making more money. But most places I checked out were more dodgy or the payout was just so much less.
Can you make a video going into farther detail about awesome miner? Set up? Tricks and Tips?
great video now we need a video on awsome miner and for other advanced mining softwares thanks
+wajdi raach Got it! Will do. The video was already too long to include it here.
am your n 1 on fan man keep the good work and please change your currency to dollar into your online store by the way to make us buy fom you easier
+wajdi raach I don't have an online store.
sorry, got it, i am little bit confused with all links i visit , see you man
i thought wootware is yours
After nicehash went down I got unlazy and figured out how to mine pools went with vertcoin and I'm making almost $8 more per card a day than I did with nicehash at this point I will not go back if they start again
Hady Hayman I went from ~$10 a day on nice hash with 3 1070tis in now getting ~4.5 vert coin a day with vert being ~$8 right now
it is a LOT mind you. I have a 1080ti (underclocked though) but I barely get $6 per day as for now. However, I think $8 is possible but you really need to know when to sell the alt-coin. MONA and VTC prices are dropping down really hard for the last 10 hours and this made it pretty hard to get more than $8 per day now.
awsome miner sounds nice. but i have always used custom miners and pools. This may be the only alternative for me. So thanks for a great video!!
Glad it could be helpful even tho you're doing things the right way! :D
Nothing is better than Nicehash because they're not only a mining program but a market which made buyers and sellers more money. Hopefully they're back before Christmas.
+Le Godfather frog Maybe. Would you still trust them?
UFD Tech They've been around for some time and I've made lots of money with them. It's a shame this is happening.
+Le Godfather frog Definitely a shame.
they did that spershady stream though, I lost all my confidence in them right there. if more people have thought that they may never recover
+mechadrake Yeah, that stream basically communicated no hope or confidence. They're likely gonna be RIP soon.
Uh... Yes you can specify the coins to mine in the Winminer settings menu.
Love the vids you remind me of a mixture of the Malcolm in the middle brothers 😂😁 keep up the good work am subbed since 6k subs
+adam ganjaman Awesome!! Thanks for sticking around!!
MultiPoolMiner is also an alternative. It's a lot more involved than just wallets, but it's open-source and therefore you can verify that the code isn't doing anything shady. These pre-compiled software solutions are not easy to trust now that NiceHash is gone.
Nothing about Betterhash? It seems like the best option to me by far. It's very, very transparent, and it offers payouts in altcoins.
Great presentation! Keep up the good work
Please do a noob setup guide to awesome miner i have totally no clue what i have to do
I'm probably going to try winminer because I really like the PayPal payout option
winminer = noobjuice
So was NiceHash, that is the idea for the one click miners. Its for noobs who just want to get their feet wet.
and I'm fine with that.
So what exactly does an expert like you use?
jelome1989 i guess a linux like os and ccminer or something like that. You really can't call that "expert" though
H0pH0p ccminer took me 15min to setup with a tutorial tho. First time mining and got $1.65 in around 13hrs with my gtx 1080
So which one is the best?
Nice to be young......... This bloke is bursting with energy
How bout Awesomeminer with Zpool enabled and pointed at your BTC address? It's very powerful but requires minimal setting up to seamlessly replace Nicehash, imo
I'm finally getting to watch the New Video, how I wish I could have watched it yesterday
+Waseem H At least you're here now Waseem!
Banks at least have protections against loss, and regulations that require a certain amount of security and monitoring. I would rather keep money under the front seat of my locked car than trust any virtual coin marketplace to hold my money.
PlanetVampire.com So you like to be subjugated to a master because you are a coward that need protection.
I came across you channel by accident haha. To realise it happened to be a good accident. Thank you for your work.
great channel man , congrats for 50k
I wanted to know if the cryptocurrency mine can damage the equipment in the medium or long term, is it safe if one maintains good temperatures, even 24-7?
+Sergio Gonzalez It can damage it. Especially the fans. It's not a serious risk, but constant heat + PC parts can lead to failure.
thank you
PLEASE VIDEO ON BETTERHASH!!! :) love your channel man!
Second that
Greeetings!
Great video and I'm not liking any of them so far, running MinerGate on one machine for testing everything else Claymore.
Nice rundown. Still prefer pool mining since we lost nicehash.
What about EasyHash and BetterHash? They are trustable?
