I was learning this and I didn’t even know to go on heels and toes but when I tried spinning with it and fell and I was not wearing knee pads and my knee was hurting when I walk and I was so close to die or my tooth fall and I am like: I will never roller skate. But me actually doing it 😂
You can absolutely spin with either, but I would say it depends on the types of spins you like to do. If you’re doing heel toe, you can do those with toe stops but if you’re doing toe spins a lot, I would recommend jam plugs because they help you get on your toes more. There are also toe stop spins that I think are suuper pretty, that you do need toe stops for! So I’d say it’s preference for sure, but you can spin with either :) In the first half of this vid I wear toe stops and in the second half I’m wearing jam plugs. With time you will discover what you prefer but if I had to choose for what you see here, I’d go with jam plugs!
@JennaLynn I do jam plugs all the time but I do miss my stoppers. I love doing the little spins on them and I end up hitting my skate doing the same with jamplugs haha!
