Thank you Dasia, for your fabulous videos! You’re making learning to skate as an adult seem much less scary and possible! I’m waiting for my skates to arrive and will come back to these videos many times. I’m feeling the pizza stop!
for the toe stop, your foots only popping up because of the smooth surface your on, if you were on pavement, youd stop pretty fast and easy with out popping up foot, also I noticed if you have a longer cone shaped stopper if help alot better for toe stops but repeated use of this stop on pavement will thrash your stopper so if you do this you need spare stoppers in your bag with a tool kit :)
Hi! I’m new to roller skating! What type of roller skates do you have or recommend for beginners? I also wanna thank you! I’ve seen your vids about roller skating and it was super helpful!

Pizza stop is my go to, but I think I've kind of done a transition stop once or twice without meaning too. Need to get out on the skates more. I don't use the toe stops at all and yet I'm afraid to remove them for some reason. 🤣
I just wanna say I appreciate these videos and of course I appreciate you because without you .. we wouldn’t be getting this quality content baby 😂❤ . I’m very new to skating and your helping me soooo much .. I can’t begin to thank you enough .
just bought some skates after seeing your videos! im excited but also a little scared (especially after having spent so much to get the skates, i think it was harder because i have bigger feet) i think stopping is the thing im most worried about. but your videos feel very safe and comforting in the way you explain things. thank you
Im so excited for you. It’s huge knowing something is scary and still doing it anyway. 🤌🏾😮💨 I’ve got some safety and how to fall content coming that might be super helpful for you. THANK YOU!
You are such a beautiful and graceful rollerskater. Your videos are my favourite. Simple, clear, and informative instructions/demonstrations 👌🏾. Will be trying all of them. Thank you for sharing, and have a positive day ✌🏿💜💯
More roller skate videos!! I don’t want to watch anyone else’s 😅 I’ve watched your first two abou a hundred times now, and what I’m wondering next is how you do smooth turns while your foot is down? I can only seem to change direction if I pick my foot up, and can’t do all the smooth twists and stuff. Thank you!
damn, youre so cool! i always wanted to skate, as a kid i even tried to, loved the speed and the general feeling of it, but stopping was the thing that made me, well, stop. it was my mortal enemy, i used to stop on bushes, grass and stuff like that. now youre making me want to skate again!
I always wanted to roller-skate for years but I would always give up 😅 your videos really helped me to feel comfortable and to just enjoy the learning process and have fun thanks girly 😊
I’m learning how to skate before I go back to campus. I need a hobby something that will get me out the dorm/house. And I found you on TikTok! Thank you so much for these tutorials!
hello and thank u for this,i have an easy way for stoppers too is that when u are going if u have long stoppers like me just tip toe ur stopper and it will stop u very fast almost like instant but please practice this stop by a wall bc u can maybe fall, also ty for this these tuts are amazing so are u have a great day
Thank youuuuuu 🙏 Stopping was always an issue for me with ice skating but at least there was the rink wall 😅 I’ve been worried about how I’ll stop in roller skates so I’ll practice this today 👍😉
Love it thanks! Skating outside is a whole new world to me, going fast and with different elevation took me by surprise. Haha. Didn't get going THAT fast at a skating rink! **Where is this you're skating at? Love it
Great video! Very helpful! I'm a transition stopper myself. That's just my preference but I'm definitely going to experiment with these more! Except the T-stop! I'm not very good at that one either and, it pulls on my knee in a strange way. I wonder, what plate do you have on your moxi lolly boot? I just bought some lolly's and the aluminum plate that I also bought won't fit the boot...anyway, you've inspired me to get toe jams too! I've been on the fence for a minute but now I'm sold! That's more my style! Thank you! Blessings and returns! ☮️🫶🏼✨
Thank you I was looking for some other than toe stops. Because I’m use to inline skating and switched the toe stops tripped me up when doing certain movements I was use to doing easily lol
I bought roller skates awhile ago but they were not comfy so I couldn’t get into it but I just got a new pair of vnla Lunas so I’m trying again so I think armed with comfy skates and your tutorials I’ll be good 😼 thank you.
Hello...I watched your skate in 7 min vid, was great...best explanation yet. Havent tried yet but your vid actually gave me the confidence to want to try tmrrw! Ha! But then I thought, but how do I stop?...so I took a dive into your channel and got caught up in sum of your other stuff....I commend you for trying to get all your stuff right, good luck. Now back to skating...you have a great way of explaining things...I hope to tell you one day, soon, that I'm skating!👍🤞🏻
I can’t do any except pizza/plow stop but I think the toe stop would work better if you use the side of the toe stop. So turn foot out a bit then bring it behind your front skate.
Thank you this helped so much ! Im going rollerskating with a friend soon who is insaley good at stopping and rollerskating in genral now I might have a chance 😀
i love your videos, tysm for sharing! so far im good with forward movement and the pizza (toe) stop, hoping to practice going backwards to see if that helps with pivots/transitions!
Also jam plugs prevent the metal of your skates from damaging rink floors! I *just* found that out after wondering wtf was the point of jam plugs for like 2 years 😂
Just bought my first pair of skates (so the first pair that fit me) and became really motivated to keep them nice. Thanks so much! I don’t have to eat pavement when I go fast anymore lol
One of the reasons that I never got into rollerblading was that the brake they gave was on the back, rather than the front. I suppose it was intended that you'd use one of these other methods to stop and for the life of me, I only remember using the toe drag, but that's probably my memory, and I was probably already going fairly slowly when I would start dragging it.
Toe stop-pizza stop, transition stop, t stop, toe drag,
Jam plug-pizza, pivot, transition, skiing motion
Pizza stop is going to save my life! I’ve been using the tried and tested ‘flail for a bit then catapult into a tree’ method in my local park (hills 4 dayssss)

This video is great! I used to roller skate in my youth and was thinking about getting back into it again.
Love it thanks! Skating outside is a whole new world to me, going fast and with different elevation took me by surprise. Haha. Didn't get going THAT fast at a skating rink! **Where is this you're skating at? Love it
This helped my friend and I so much!! Thank you!!❤
im a ski coach and how you said to do the pizza stop is pretty much exactly how I teach it. this is amazing
when i say i was waiting for this I AM NOT LYING TYSM FOR THIS
Maybe tips on what stretches to do before/after roller skating would be cool to see :))
Thank you I was looking for some other than toe stops. Because I’m use to inline skating and switched the toe stops tripped me up when doing certain movements I was use to doing easily lol
Thank you so much for this. I didn’t have a reliable way of stopping before. Really want to get out there now.
I bought roller skates awhile ago but they were not comfy so I couldn’t get into it but I just got a new pair of vnla Lunas so I’m trying again so I think armed with comfy skates and your tutorials I’ll be good 😼 thank you.
Why am i watching this when i dont have rollerskates or any intention on buying it?
Thank you! Im trying to learn 2 days ago and your my teacher now❤
Hello...I watched your skate in 7 min vid, was great...best explanation yet.
I just got my roller skates today and this was really helpful ❤
Thank you this helped so much ! Im going rollerskating with a friend soon who is insaley good at stopping and rollerskating in genral now I might have a chance 😀
i love your videos, tysm for sharing! so far im good with forward movement and the pizza (toe) stop, hoping to practice going backwards to see if that helps with pivots/transitions!
You are such a saint for these videos ♥️♥️♥️
Also jam plugs prevent the metal of your skates from damaging rink floors! I *just* found that out after wondering wtf was the point of jam plugs for like 2 years 😂
AND YOUR VIBE ! can we have a video for turning around to skate backwards/ skating backwards & for people who are semi advance pls ?!!!
I managed to stumble on this page. . . I didn't know i needed this. Much appreciated
Super clear and very informative! Great video✨️
Glad you liked it!!✨
Just bought my first pair of skates (so the first pair that fit me) and became really motivated to keep them nice. Thanks so much! I don’t have to eat pavement when I go fast anymore lol
I love this series!
