You are a wise young man .. and gifted with genuine natural charisma and good communication skills . Keep it up and thank you .
Since I already know George’s breathing course I can only recommend it! The results I got (and still get) are awesome!
You really put me in contact with my breath, and it's fantastic. Especially for filling up my mind and body with the esoteric wisdom of spiritual gurus like Alan Watts, connecting with my breath allows me distance from the world of thoughts and to delve deeper into the learning of the Far East.
Danke🙏 Wahrnehmung der Atmung, Wahrnehmung der Natur, Wahrnehmung von sich selbst, entspannen und genießen. Kurze Auszeit aus dem Hamsterrad ☺️
Thank you so much for caring and sharing 💚💚💚
So succinct, gentle and unimaginably helpful. Very grateful for this. The depth/expansiveness in the neutrality was completely unexpected as I was one of the many suffering from trauma where the breath had been impacted. For years I told myself that breathwork didn’t work for me, that I couldn’t do it. Well, surprise surprise! With practice, it can be done even by the many folks with c/ptsd. With gentle acceptance of where I was and gratitude for whatever bit I *could* do, it shifted. Thanks, George! ❤
So glad to hear that J P. Sending my best wishes ☯💪
❤️
JP, I have complex PTSD and the Internal Arts have saved my life. I live a much more centered and relaxed life. Qi Gong, breathing practices as mentioned by George 100% are beneficial “with training, and mindfulness”. Welcome and many blessings to a new state of being. I am happy you found George’s Channel, he does an amazing job with his videos.
Thank you George; very nice instructions, two bits of information that I find so benificial I would like to share, Baba Ram Dass always said; along with many people of wisdom,,, BE HERE NOW, just live in the moment and my favorite bit of advice I give myself is;; got problems Jim, well just stop THINKING. Much love and happiness to you George and to those who walk the path with you.

Today was one of those days when I was definitely in my head. The wild stormy weather over the past few days has kept me indoors and I could feel the change in my mood. Listening to you, George has put me back on track so a huge thank you 🙏
George, not sure how I found you, but I'm glad I did. Great channel and wonderful, thought provoking videos.
It sounds like we are going through a similar journey, although mine started a lot later in life and in a very different direction...
I started with the Stoic and Roman philosophers Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Cato and now including Buddhism and taoism/daoism. All of them have something amazing to offer.
I have been struck by the similarities amongst many, if not all, of these philosophies and those which later became religions, as they all preach very similar messages but in different ways.
One of the things you talk about in this video about the breath is the fact that "you can't control your thoughts, but you can choose where to place your attention".
This is a central/fundamental tenet of stoicism - we cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we react to it. In fact, Stoics take it a step further by believing that we must voluntarily accept everything that happens to us as an opportunity to manage it with integrity and virtue.
The stoics consider your mind and internal dialogue as your control center, and with it comes the ability to determine how you react to each end every situation that comes to you.
It's an easy concept to grasp, and a very difficult one to implement. I have been trying for months, but old habits die hard.
The toughest part for me is not reacting immediately to something that happens. I guess that's why they call it a reaction... The idea is that with pretty much everything that happens to you, take a beat to analyze it and then determine how to react. Again. Very tough to do, but something to strive for.
I am just starting my journey into Stoicism Buddhism and Taoism, and they seem to have very similar ideas in a lot of areas, but there are also some very unique differences.
In any case, thanks for sharing your journey. It's helping. Keep up the amazing work.
Thanks for expounding it so simply..❤
Thanks George, nice talk.
When I meditate I used Shodo Harada Roshi's susokkan breathing. It is just counting the exhalations into the hara (Japanese) tanden (Chinese). I feel the tanden expanding on the inhalation and contracting on exhalation. It doesn't take long before my thoughts take a holiday. The susokkan method is in Harada Roshi's book "The Path to Bodhidharma".
Thank you George. Very helpful advice.
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Thank you, you are really helpful. Keep it going!
This is a great philosophy to synchronize nature with ourself. If you have any material suggest us to develop more of it!
Thanks for this great video.
Need to practice this more, thank you! I really like the metaphor of living in the attic and there being so many more rooms to explore. Very helpful
Glad you found the video helpful!
I super love this channel 👍
Thank you so much! Much love
Ohhh so nice !!! Thank you for this gift ! Be blessed George ❤
thank you
Thanks....will practice daily...
I loved the exercise at the beggining, I always tried to forget about sounds while meditation and i've never been able to do it. Now it worked perfectly for me. The thumb one was a bit too much maybe because i have a very poor focus for two things at the same time. Thank you very much for this knowledge I will definitely use it in the future.
Thank you for the reminder. I used to drown out the background noise while meditating, now I realize I can use it as a focus point hahaha and the finger touching tripped me out idk why lmao
Great video very informative.
😊🙏
Thank you I listen yo you with all my intention. No side track guess my meditation is starting to pay off ❤
Thankyou 🙏☀️🌹
Woah, new camera?? Soo clear and high def

Thanks a lot George for sharing your in-spirations with us. Especially the reminder, that we could not decide what thoughts are crossing our mind, but that we can decide where we set our focus. According to a mindfulness attempt to breathing I would add: My breakthough was when I have learned that there is no need to do anything with my breath but listening because the more I'm trying to force my breath in "the right way", the more the shot backfires.
BTW perhaps a bit off topic: Meditating with Master Gu you are wearing this traditional suit - I love them aboslutely, so I got a brandnew one for my Tai Chi practice. What I'm currious about are the two clothing stripes on the right site. I know they are symbols in a daoist context, but still can't find the right infos on the net. Would be very grateful if you or someone else here could help me out.
Thank you This is really helpful 😊
I do find that when I focus on my breathing I tend to loose my breath and this can make me feel stressed so I tend to avoid focus on my breathing Was wondering if you had any way I can avoid this
Thanks 😊
What about the notion that silence is consent? If something is truly bothering me something of which doesn't affect me directly but to me is immoral and needs corrected? I find my breath, I look at my self objectively. But yet when I look at the state of the world and how beautiful people are selling their bodies on onlyfans fueled with depression, anxiety, a lack of self importance. How intelligent people are being manipulated and used by corporate quotas and guidelines. We are divine in our nature but our form that are forced to take by indoctrination via our school systems, colleges, our indoctrinated parents is one of pure ignorance rather than bliss. We are in a world where the collective agreement is "find yourself" in a system against you. By people who not by their faults judge each other on the idea of who others should be, while not knowing who we are ourselves. It seems very selfish to focus on being happy and ignorant to the state of the world. By focusing on yourself you can change the world. But that doesnt mean sit idle and let others destroy themselves and each other. People don't know what they don't know and its not their faults. But for someone to know and actively just cope with being a slave. Is immoral, is cowardice, is against nature. The nature of human beings is to help one another through love not through paychecks and selling your soul so people can have nice things. I would like to know your thoughts on this thought process of mine. I don't mean anything I just stated 100% literal but to sum up a grandeur notion.
This is very valuable to me at the moment. I have had a recent multiple sclerosis diagnosis and have a few other problems too. As you can appreciate my mind is really messed up. This is so simple and calming. Thank you.
