    Crème Caramel - French Custard Pudding Recipe
    For 4 persons
    Level: Intermediate
    Prep time: 25 min
    Cooking time:45 min
    Resting time: At least 6 hours
    Ingredients
    For caramel:
    1/3 cup granulated sugar (75g)
    1 tablespoon water
    For custard filling:
    100g granulated sugar (1 tablespoon of sugar should be spooned out of 1/2 cup of sugar.)
    3 eggs
    Pinch salt
    500 ml milk ( 2 cups, plus 1 tablespoon)
    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    100 g de sucre

    Really delicious! I burnt the caramel so I threw it and just made the creme, and it was perfect! I ate it with my family only 30 minutes after putting it in the fridge, and everyone loved it! 고맙습니다!

    this is a wonderful dessert, make sure you let it cool really well in the fridge its much tastier then and you can use a heat proof glass shallow dish if you don't have remekins

    I did it after I watched the video, and it tastes deliciouuuus. I thought it is difficult doing cream caramel, but at the end I found out it is really easy just do the steps accurately. Thank you! =)

    Dear Eugenie, today i tried your recipe for the creme caramel and….. it came out pretty good. I didn't have doubt about your recipe but about myself and my oven that doesn't work properly. Anyway, i just had to let the creme caramel in the oven a little longer. Can you specify please which kind of oven do you use for your recipes?     Hi Eugenie,
    Your channel is as good as yourself.I tried this caramel.I ve tried it many times infact.The problem I face is I am unable to get the brown or golden colour.The sugar water turns yellowish very light brown.Could you help out?
    I have tried baking cakes.I use a fork as I don't ve a beater.I notce that the cakes are never fluffy or soft even if I am careful abt the baking time.Kindly tell me what could ve gone wrong.I am so desperate as are my kids to bake a good chocolate cake.

    Really? We sometimes call this dessert flan in my country:D I think the hardest part is to keep the custard from bubbling. My flan is not as smooth as Eugenie's . When you make the caramel, maybe you should try adding some drops of lemon or lime juice in the sugar before heating:D

    Salam..euginie I have some problem when I serving the creme caramel on the plate is stuck after cooling overnight of the refrigerator looks not soft like u do..

      Possible but with powdered milk baking time and temperature will be a little different, the final result won't be as good.
