All Muse fans need to thank the Patreon gold tier member who keeps requesting the Muse songs for review. Otherwise we all would be waiting and hoping for anything from Muse. I would love to hear Space Dementia too, or maybe Reapers.
It's an amazing song by Muse that many fans don't like because of its pop influences. It's one of the rare Muse songs that are better as studio version than live version.
This was a great review, my new friend. I've loved this song for years now and it was a total surprise at a very challenging time of my life. I might be unique in this experience but I don't give a f. I'm bipolar 1 and I experienced this song right after a house fire totally displaced my family when my first born baby girl was just a few months old. It was an extremely cold winter, my life was in a tail-spin, and I, admittedly, was in the middle of a pretty major drug use period. I cannot accurately describe to anyone else what that period of my life was like in my head but needless to say it was deep as fucking hell. I needed positivity and this song, as random as it might seem, was just that. I had never heard of Muse but somehow they gave me a bolt of light in a truly dark hour. The "I need to love..." part still makes my cry." And the guitar solo, IMHO, is just sick and wayyyyy too short, but sort of perfection in a way. I'm so glad you did this review, David, and I love hearing your expertise. I have a background in music and I subscribed to your channel just because of this. Thank you for doing this vid, bro. I really hope some others appreciate this song just a little bit. It's a nice piece.
This was the song that got me into Muse believe it or not, and I love this album, it's still my favorite of theirs. I swear, I guessed you'd give it an 8.3 or 8.5. I couldn't have called it better. Laughed my ass off when you gave it an 8.4!
I don't see that one in the que, so it would have to be a fresh request. You can suggest songs on here, and if your suggestion happens to already be in the que, I am more than happy to add your name to the requesters of that song. However in order to make fresh brand new requests, you have to be a Bronze Tier member on the Patreon page. @@THEDavidHeretic if you gonna react to space dementia , please check live at hullabaloo Paris 2001. Its official dvd and its near to album release. It means its a good quality and production (dvd) and very emotional for musicians (release date). Hope you understand me)

The version of this song that is Live from Olympic Stadium in Rome shows a cool trick they do with the vocals that you couldn't really see from this one. Anyway, glad you liked it and sorry I'm late, lol. Also if you wanna see Terry Crews be a badass zombie slayer in the middle of a Muse music video you should check out Pressure official music video.
Oh... Just wait for the harmonies Floor does with Marco! Not my favourite... recommend checking out "Invincible" H.A.A.R.P Live. Fantastic build up to Matthews arpeggio tap solo!
The next time your talking about vocal harmonies you should mention that when doing thirds or sixths (which essentially are thirds below), you actually have to change between major and minor ones to stay within the scale.
This band is not a one trick, one note, one tone, one execution pony. When done it's done well. There is not a track that does not have something worth hearing.
except they're dubbing in a pre-recorded guitar track that enters on the second verse in that performance. not a big fan of that. makes me wonder how much of the sound is dubbed in. edit: ok, they have another guitarist standing in by the bass player. a lil more respect, but I prefer hearing the trio tackle the track themselves. This second guitar does help fill the sound out so it more closely resembles the studio version, so I get why it could be enjoyed more.
@@stanreaper3080 That second guitar player is actually a member of the band but he doesn't want the fame so they don't show him on the camera and they don't put his face in the albums or anything
Muse fans are always annoyed that this song is the most popular among all of the bands vast catalog. It's not hard to see why it's the case though. Really well constructed and mainstream as hell.

I did a reaction to Reapers, and it got blocked. It's posted up on the Patreon page if you wanna check it out, totally up to you.

Or if it's possible, any songs or space dementia from their new remixed Origin of Symmetry album!
@@THEDavidHeretic yeah space dementia is great
Nice. Muse-Space Dementia live from Pinkpop please
As a pianist myself, Space dementia and butterflies and hurricanes are my two favorite Muse's songs.

on the album track, the word "Madness" is where the harmony lives. giving the impression of mutiple voices in his head. It's poetry
Amazing reaction. Subbed for sure. Keep it up man!

I totally forgot that this song is actually pretty great. Thanks for the reminder!
Underrated song, forgot how great Chris vocals are.
Hell yeah
Unnatural Selection Live at The Den Muse.
Buena reacción, sin duda una de sus mejores presentaciones de Madness
Already in the que, you requested it.
that base is mesmeric
they have 2 songs for this bass guitar(kitara), the other song is dig down, they've been using it since 2012
you should see "Muse - Dead Star | Live at Warchild, Shepherd's Bush 2013" song from the 2002s, I think from the few live times 😀

Depending on the mode or key absolutely. A single semitone is all it takes.
Nice...love this song by them...
This song was great

This is actually not the good version of this song, you should listen to Madness - Live at Rome Olympic Stadium

Best live version is the one from Saturday Night Live, it has Matts best vocals. Especially at the end.
