Thanks. My 20 gauge slide assembly gets stuck going back in regardless of the left and right shell latches being pressed in. It has only been used once shooting 100 shells.
I would double check that the slide assembly is facing the right direction. Then make sure you depress the latches in sequence (3:45-4:30 of this video). Once both are depressed and the assembly moves I would try to wiggle it around until you can find a groove for it to slide on. Best of luck! I hope you get it figured out.
@ I tried it again today after cleaning and oiling last night and it went in smoothly. I made sure I pressed the shell latches in order. I noticed that it was much less oily so wonder if too much gun oil didn’t help either. Thanks again!
