The best discription i heared about it is "it drives like you have an angry US-Army drillsargent on your passenger seat and he screams constantly at you how good your driving is and how nice that corner was."
As an owner of a suzuki swift sport myself it makes me so happy to see the smiles on both your faces. I've been waiting for years for MCM to mention this car. Thankyou
I had a friend in Singapore who owned a manual ZC31S Suzuki Swift Sport, all he did was a piggyback system to the ECU and it does pops and bangs, bone stock no turbos and all that. Ever since that first drive, I immediately fell in love with the Suzuki Swift Sport and wanted one of my own, it’s was a super fun hatchback to drive around and ripping the streets
Never knew they only built 5-door Swifts in Japan. Here in Europe we also got the 3-door. The ones for Europe were actually built in Hungary. Looking forward to this series, the Swift is pretty old school (N/A 1.6), but new enough to not be a pain to maintain. Curious what nugget Marty will come up with!

This would do really well with a set of headers(which also remove the cat), a Simota cold air intake, and a retune. The suspension is already fairly firm, so just some chassis bracing and an LSD would work just fine. Then just stainless braided brake lines, pads, and fluid for track use. Great little cars.

In Norway they were only sold with four wheel drive and 1,3l engine. Newer model has the 1,2l
I've been saying for a year now that the swift should be the new intro race group to replace the excel cup
Suzuki swifts get alot of hate from stock p plate toyota 86 drivers with a wing tacked on and other drivers in stereotypical sporty cars so it's really nice to see some appreciation towards them. I reckon with some good shocks and tyres it would be able to out corner a stock 86 or brz any day of the week
Moog: "We are NEVER going to turbo this car!"
Also Moog: "In this episode of MCM were going to turbo the Swift!"
my one was 3 door version :) great car
You can find them all over Europe, they're slightly overpriced tho'
Frenzal Rhomb/Descendents collab shirt ❤
Marty better be shopping for a Honda jazz right now.
My FZ surprises so many people.
We have a Swift 1.3 DDis engine in India. Absolutely beautiful engine with a lot of torque. Please try and find one and give your opinion on that engine.
If you like the Swift you should try an Abarth 500 next!
Not gonna lie, it's sounds and looks like fun.
Say what ya say I love these swifts and the older 1990s model
Driving slow cars fast.....2009 Subaru Forester 2.5 X. Coilovers, swaybars, wider wheels and sticky tires. To much fun.
I've never actually had the impression those were 'underrated,' I think everyone realizes they're fun little things that maybe only go so far, but the 'practical daily for driving enthusiasts ' is surely an under-done genre.
I have one and I don't think they're underrated, they're really fun and good to daily but not really a sports car... At least stock. They make great track cars once modified!
@@Zanpaa I was more thinking everyone knows that. Maybe there's only so much content in em on RUclips but in some circumstances I think I'd be fairly happy with on.
There’s also a 4x4 version of that swift too. Nz had some
You guys got to do a rally build at some point and they take it out and properly run it.
