- When you print 3D parts with copperfill or bronzefill you get a rough surface.
To get the shiny smooth surface, you need to polish the parts. This works best with a tumbler filled with small screws. I also tested tumbling with sand, but the result is not as good with screws !
you should try mixing a few drops of some liquid car wax in with the screws and see if it helps polish it differently
hey what printer are you using? these came out AMAZING quality for the size and type of machine
those turned out amazing! what speeds were you printing at?
+Stefan Toubia around 30mm/s - slow ;)
+Stefan Toubia Hey Stefan!
Did it sand down the layers?
how long do you run the process for this result?
and what apen if you mix sand with screws?
Diodo Paul around 8h. Never tried with Sand and Screws ...
Where did you get those little tumblers or are they diy

Hmm..... Y not try using sand instead of screws?
+Kelvin Loh I tried with s and - nothing happen, sand is not raff enough.
bee-bees would work really well i think...
NICE! how long did you put the parts in the tumbler for? and just any type of stainless screws will do?
Thanks for making this
Alvin Thai I tumbled the part for around 8 hours. And yes, you can use any type of small screws. Try it out and have fun!
