    Surprised you didn't 3D print the Tumbler.

    Very cool! looks like the tumble case can use a little support though.

    please use a low pass audio filter when you speed up both audio and video. the high frequency audio content in the sped up portion is really irritating on head phones.

    If you are using this to clean 3d printed parts why didnt you 3d print the base and stand???

    They say that the tumbler is still running to this day

    Hmmm, like he said. Goes through all that trouble and he has a 3D printer. Nostalgia must be involved. But why a servo?

    Nice!
    Could you share some info on what components you used? I'm especially interested in the little blue contoller box you used - it seems to be some out-of-the-box thingy...
    also, what motor do you use?

    • @mancave8113
      @mancave8113  8 лет назад

      +Håkan Berg The blue thingy is a RC servo tester: www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__64888__Turnigy_Servo_Tester_US_Warehouse_.html
      and the motor is a modded RC servo that can spin 360 degrees. Like so: www.instructables.com/id/How-to-modify-a-servo-motor-for-continuous-rotatio/?ALLSTEPS . Or may you find a 360 degrees servo: www.adafruit.com/products/154

    I just had to stop watching it because of the deafening noise levels this video has.

    For those watching this that wanted to see the outcome of tumbling that copperfill skull, it appears @Mancave put it into a separate video, here: ruclips.net/video/bnIvP_u7McM/видео.html

    You're going to want a bearing on the end cap

  • @DaHaiZhu

    OK. Gotta ask: Why didn't you just design and print the Tumbler base instead of doing all that woodworking?

  • @HammerandNeil
    @HammerandNeil 8 лет назад

    Very Nice! have you tried this with ABS parts? Do you think it would work?

    • @mancave8113
      @mancave8113  8 лет назад

      +Neil Makes It No never tried with ABS, i only print PLA at the moment.

    • @HammerandNeil
      @HammerandNeil 8 лет назад

      +Mancave good to know. I think it would also work with abs then. do you have any before and after photos. I would live to see them.

    What is exactly this thing?
    What kind of servant you used to that he had this infinite rotation?

    Hi! I want to replicate this build, but how do I power the Servo Tester? I can only find power supplies consisting of 4AA batteries to reproduce 6V but there should be a way to power it from a 6V barrel jack power supply right?
