They could've stopped right there...it said it all.
Durbin got schooled.
What cracks me up is the chairman never admonishes kavannah once for not answering, for blabbering on, or anything else...but as soon as one of the democratic senators says anything all hell breaks loose. 🤔. The arrogance and attitude of this judge is very telling.

The old gag apparently got laughs when the late, Jewish federal Judge Abraham Lincoln Marowitz told it, but it didn't go down as well when Durbin repeated it at the dedication of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield in 2005. "Let me just remind people that Lincoln had a sense of humor too," Durbin protested, though he added, "We live in a little different age now, and I'll think about it in the future, but I absolutely meant no disrespect to Judge Marovitz or Abraham Lincoln."

On the contrary it is an accusation disguised as a question. A question that was using the FBI as a political football 🏈.
Didn't the FBI already deny an investigation?
And isn't this request just another delaying tactic?
I mean this woman's accusation has already been proven faulty, and completely unsubstantiated, why is this still going on?
No, the FBI did not deny an investigation. They have reopened the background check in light of all the new obligations.

Holy crap! Dick Durban has been an Illinois rep for 20 plus years! And this weasel pick today in his 5 minuets to grow balls. Durban you have been making coffee for all the cronies and now when you get your 5 minuets of National fame you play tough. Durbin has done NOTHING for Illinois. His focus for years has been on DACA. A worthless career politician who has sucked the DEMOCRATIC teat for decades, Illinois doesn't "love" Durbin; it is so corrupt that, like Mike Madigan, it can't escape him.
Senator Durbin did a good job here. Kavanaugh looked bad. I have a feeling he may not last long on the SCOTUS.
