Hearing Exposes Brett Kavanaugh Temperament Problem, Credibility Issues | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC
His tears were about being found out, embarrassment and guilt about his parents having to hear about his awful behaviour. He’s not quite the perfect blue eyed boy in his parents eyes and that is enough to make him emotional. His self control and repetitive interruptions demonstrates him being quick to anger and refusal to answer important questions are not what you want in a Supreme Court judge. Sorry you just don’t have what it takes for a life time appointment judge.
Move on and choose another nominee.......simple
Couldn’t agree more. He never should have been confirmed.
The man needs to be placed in rehab, not on the Supreme Court. Then he will find HIS TRUTH. SOOOOO disrespectful. Only a drunk gets that way, and you could see it on his face.
Cindy R can’t he be in rehab AND the Supreme Court simultaneously?
Dicky Jones The lie detector didn't think so. She's also willing to talk to the FBI. Brave Kavanaugh should be demanding both a polygraph test AND and FBI investigation to clear his name, but, he's not. Hmmm.......
Well said!!

There is a variety of alcoholic known in A.A. parlance as a ‘dry drunk’.
So inappropriate for a "Supreme Court " candidate!
Watching this during the week of the hearing for KBJ - a lady with grace, dignity and poise. Look at his screwed up face, filled with contempt and hatred...hideous.
He has no business being on the supreme court.
Oh! My God! He does not need to be Supreme Court Judge! He doesn't understand here that he is the one in question, not the senators! He kept interrupting in his pride and arrogance like he can do it and we can't. If that was one of us average citizens interrupting in court we would have been in contempt! Does he subtly believe he is one above the law? That is just my look about it from the outside. You know God Almighty knows who is lying! I don't know...I know I don't like to be falsely accused but I would gladly say yes investigate and clear my name if I was truly innocent. I wonder why he will not do that? Hmmmm!
There is dark money in confirmation & nomination of judges. He was vile back in 1998 regarding Clinton's impeachment, he wanted to ask utterly vulgar questions, because he is vulgar. He has shown that. Plus he is full of crap.
He does not need to be a Supreme Court Justice and never should have been confirmed
Is this guy for real? He is so belligerent during the interview...I guess I can imagine that it WOULD be much worse if he were drinking. I certainly hope that he does not get a lifetime appointment to the US supreme court! There are much better, more even keeled people to vote in for sure! There's no way this is the best Republicans can do....
Sounds like a rambling, paranoid drunk.
Depends on what the actual defining characteristics of good Republicans are. We tend to assume as self-evident that those are all positive character traits.
But does that need to be the case?
The Nazi party was initially widely thought of as a most respectable party. A few years later, even the term "good GERMAN" was considered to be an oxymoron.
I'm sure it's not anywhere as bad as that, of course, but just mentioning to illustrate the general idea.
As I watched this video, I still believe Ms. Ford and by the look on Mrs. Kavanaugh's face, she does too ! If Judge Jackson had behaved that way, she may not have made it through, yet he did with no problem!
Amazing right no matter who believes what about the accusations his behavior alone should be disqualifying
Years later and looking back at this recording, I am more convinced now than I was before that this man is a lunatic. I mean the way he speaks is simply despicable. And this is a justice? Wow.
As a Federal Judge, he’s not very good at defending himself or answering straightforward questions... 🤔
It just speaks to how sloppy the Republican Senate is about confirming political allies.
Too busy lying to defend himself.
Partly, because he's not really a judge - not in the normal sense. He was a political operative for most of his adult life prior to the 'atta-boy' appointment from GW Bush. He was, and we now know from his outbursts IS, a political activist. For years, the GOP talking point has been that here should be 'no activist judges' on SCOTUS. Based on that, alone, his name should be withdrawn. He IS a political activist and an operative who was rewarded with a judicial position for services rendered and has NO business on the court. He does not have a judicious mind, nor a judicial bearing or the appropriate temperament.
Agree. 100%.
He loves beer and loves to play with women.
My entire takeaway from all this is that Kavanaugh seemed emotionally unstable.
If he does get confirmed he seems like the sort of guy who will be out for revenge.
Poor mrs kavanaugh having to listen to her husband deny that he was and is a despicable person!
Poor woman. Just look at her face she is so sad...
After all this time….. Still watching this he should never have been put on the roster to be voted into the SCOTUS. Nor should anyone. But imagine just how mean and vicious he is now what he must be like when he is drunk. I wonder how one sleeps at night k owing he was pushed into office by a double impeached president. He is appalling!!
Methinks he doth protest toooo much, too long and too loudly.
To characterize accusations as "a joke" and "a farce" speaks volumes about how little respect he has for this entire process. Further, asking questions of those conducting the hearing is more evidence of his disrespectfulness. Trying to turn the tables on those asking questions is a defensive coping mechanism.
This man still has a drinking problem.
What a whiney little b---h he is. Hysterical, uncontrolled, disrespectful, none of the qualities you want in a judge. If he had a witness like this in front of him, as a judge, I bet he wdn't tolerate it. Just the sort of person Trump* would choose for SCOTUS!
You know, the FBI guy that got fired for emails, and Agent Comey, BOTH were tightly controlled, terse, professional men who hardly blinked during the toughest part of their congressional interviews. This guy goes off, kind of incoherent, stumbling all over himself to try defending himself while avoiding slipping up and admitting something critical. He gets panicky, and falls back on talking points that (very noticeably) Trump or his cronies have schooled him on: most notably bringing up conspiracy to destroy him, conspiracy to get "revenge" for Hillary Clinton, and anger at Trump for the outcome of the election. Listening to him talk, he sounds too much like a man with something to hide and he's dodging and resisting every motion to investigate. WOW!
To confirm this so-called judge as a Supreme Court Judge is so much Republican bulldozing that I'm deeply disturbed about the treasonous behavior of ALL those who sit on the right! It used to be that Republicans weren't a gaggle of red-faced apoplectic fools trying to outshout each other about affrontery and conspiracies and revenge. They were respectable, even if they were on the right. I remember those days very well. They are NOTHING like the chattering monkey-fest of crazy I've seen in these hearings. Think of the women dear to you in life. Those women and girls you cherish, and who you have only love or respect. Now think of a guy like this, who can't speak CATEGORICALLY that he would support an FBI investigation; imagine him assaulting that woman or girl, and then lying about it. Just think about it. Doesn't it seem far too much like the things he's using as defensive statements are EXACTLY the kinds of things you'd expect a guilty man to use? That Beach Ralphing refers to his "sensitive stomach", and that he was never one to "pass out drunk" even though he admits "falling asleep" while drunk?? He made it pretty clear he likes beer, a lot, so it's not all that hard to see him as a liar about his behavior at parties.
Can a man learn from his mistakes? Sure. A man can, but not someone who has something he's hiding, something he's ashamed of, in his past. Proper investigation is the way to come to truthful, ethical conclusions, but Kavanaugh is not willing to call for that. Instead, he hides behind the cowards in the Republican party who can't stand the harsh light of truth and evidence. Even the Bar Association is disturbed about his behavior, and they might even step in regarding his license to practice law. Even if they don't it's very worrysome that the Bar Assoc. would be rumbling about one of their own, since it's the reputation of that organization and their sanctioning of someone as a qualified legal professional that's on the line.
Wouldn't it be nice if the bar association did take away his license? He wouldn't be able to sit on any bench!!
@@sharonrinkiewicz3940 yes please! Not to mention lying under oath about upholding Roe v. Wade
I think he is guilty "no questions asked" he's just beating the system at it's own game
He's so unhinged and thin- skinned.I couldn't believe he was nominated to the Supreme Court!
He seems as if he may have been under the influence to act as aggressively as he did here. Did anyone bother to check? He's literally ranting and raving like so many of the alcoholics that I've seen in my lifetime.
This man is clearly drunk, slipping in and out of moods, and rambling...
maccyknife1 I agree.. As Shakespeare wrote ... " I think he doth protest too much"
Just coming into the hearings and not knowing very much about Kavanaugh, the temperament was an immediate red flag for me. I need my lifetime appointees of the judicial branch of our government to be SOBER and MEASURED, even in the heat of a firestorm.
He and his family have been threatened and completely dragged through the mud - all through the words of a few organised women. The big issue is, where is the proof? Does proof no longer matter? Is it only the words of a single woman, with unsubstantiated claims, that can win through in America and the civilised world now?
Theres at least three women that have came forward now but they're ignoring it, The American Bar Association has now called for the fbi to investigate
@@yuhisarhim There's not going to be mathematical proof or a videotape. What we have is some testimony - from both sides - and the question is whether senators consider this _enough evidence_ to vote No. It's a question of whether this counts as evidence or not. You say No; fine. Others would disagree with you, and to discount it as even being admissible as _possible_ evidence is incorrect.
Issacc Dr Ford took a polygraph test and passed.........
Dicky Jones Time for school---Learn something.

His behavior was that of a confirmed alcoholic: wide swings in his temperament from belligerent to weepy to asking smart-aleck questions. Jeez! Not a man with any self-control.

Ryan Gianola no, you mean not as embarrassing as the UN assembly LAUGHING at trump!
Nah, wait a few more days for Trump to this something. No one will remember this after.
Yes it is embarrassing.... and the Demon-rats (Democrats) are entirely responsible. Feinstein sat on the allegation and then leaked it at exactly the time it would do the most political damage. Sen. Hirono won't answer the question if Dems leaked the letter. She won't answer because she knows they did...(She knows when, why and who leaked it). Feinstien also carefully avoided answering the question by looking back at her staff and asking "did we leak? uh uh...they are saying no". I would have asked her again if she personally had any knowledge of the letter or the information contained in the letter being leaked. Ford did not want this. The FBI should investigate that leak. If Ford's attorneys were involved in leaking the letter they should be disbarred for going against the best interest of their client.
Wow, the lack of humility in this guy! I can understand the outrage (real or fake, it really doesn't matter), but if any one of us screamed on a job interview how this position is ours and how dare you interview us, we'd be thrown out of the building.
I am worried to have this guy in the supreme court or any court.
i would not want to have to front him in court..he seems affected
He lied under oath about upholding Roe v. Wade at his confirmation hearing as he was one of the votes that overturned it this year
He should never been appointed to the Supreme Court he is unfit
Kavanaugh acted like a 12 year old having a temper tantrum. Shameful!
You're brainwashed. You know nothing.
More like a 10 year old.
His behavior made my former middle school students look mature 😂
He is hysterical. Bad temperament and poor behavior. Hold it together. Google “boofing” it doesn’t mean “flatulence” as he claims. He is lying. I think that he's disqualified himself. What a shocking expose of a loose-cannon! He's unprofessional and angry, because he's been caught out. How on earth did he become an appeal-court judge? Even as a lawyer, he'd be a mob lawyer, so angry and aggressive, rudely interrupting the senators.
What part of, "He was accused of sexual assault a day before his confirmation vote by the committee of a grievous crime that allegedly happened 35 years ago, where the witnesses do not corroborate her story that Feinstein's office has sat on for 6 weeks?" don't you guys understand?

Would it.

Sen. Klobuchar was right when she said nobody is entitled to be a Supreme Court Justice!
Here he is on trial for being inappropriate (nice way of saying it) and although we don't know if he was or not, his answers are weird and inappropriate and way overemotional for someone who is a judge. Let me be clear. I don't take issue with showing emotion, it's behaving DRAMATICALLY that just seems phony, like nothing more than an act. This guy needs an acting class.

He wants to go to court under oath at the risk of perjury, while non of the accusers are willing to do so.
Josue Balderas Then why doesn't he want an FBI investigation, while Dr. Ford is very open to the idea?
@@HeavensArcher77 It is not his prerogative for the FBI to do anything. Innocent before proven guilty. Lying under oath is a serious crime. Perjury is serious. He is willing to risk perjury, but no one else is. That is the big deal

Josue Balderas "Innocent until proven guilty" exists in criminal court cases, NOT in job interviews. Brett Kavanaugh is NOT entitled to this SCOTUS position, so it actually IS in his best interest to have the FBI investigate, and find evidence that proves that he did not sexually assault Dr. Ford and the other accusers.
That is, of course, if he's innocent. If he's guilty, then I would understand why he wouldn't want an FBI investigation.
"Most despicable moment" said Lindsey Graham? What about nominee Merrick Garland?

"'First of all, proper procedure was not followed in the case of President Obama’s nominee in 2016. With nearly a year left in his presidency, the Republican-controlled Senate refused to give Obama’s nominee a hearing. His nominee, Judge Merrick Garland, was in fact a moderate judge who deserved every consideration.
With an election at hand in a few short months, this same Republican Senate seems to have no difficulty in moving ahead with a nominee now that there is a Republican president.
I believe the main issue, however, is that this president is under investigation. Several matters are pending in that investigation that could find their way to the Supreme Court for resolution. No one in this country should be able to choose individuals who may find themselves deciding cases that could either exonerate or convict them.
Yet it appears President Trump has picked an individual whose positions are favorable to him. Of the four finalists for the position, the candidate he chose seems to be the one most likely to protect him.
Bottom line: This president should not select another nominee to the Supreme Court until the Russia investigation is completed. We went more than a year with only eight justices on the court. We can certainly wait until there is a resolution to the current investigation.
It is of course possible that Brett Kavanaugh, the president’s nominee, may continue to be the nominee however the investigation is resolved. He may even be the choice of some future Republican president. That is fine, but in the meantime, it should not be tolerated for this president to have a hand in determining the individual who may decide his fate. That in no way represents appropriate American jurisprudence.
Finally, if the process moves forward despite these concerns, the nominee must commit to recuse himself from any and all matters that come to the court regarding the Russian investigation. If he is unwilling to make that commitment he should not receive a positive vote from the Senate.
The latest indictments emerging from the Special Counsel’s office make clear that the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election is alive and well. The probe is serious and is getting closer to determining what if any role this president and his top campaign officials may have had in election interference. The notion that the president can select his own judge who could squash a subpoena or permit him to pardon himself is unacceptable.
shana wagner u know that we know if he did they would say he is attacking by wanting a fbi They already hate the fact shes at this hearing and there saying shes attacking her by being here
Because the FBI investigation will bring up nothing new? Because the FBI cannot convict people? Because there is not a case to begin with (an accusation alone is not a case)? Because all four witnesses have already come forward and said Ford was lying even her life long friend? Because she can't give a date, time, place or a lick of evidence for the serious crime allegations she is throwing at him? Because she delayed the hearing because she is "scared" of flying but then admits she rides planes all the time for vacations proving she is a liar? Because when somebody accuses someone of a crime, the burden is on them to prove it happened? Because Ford never answered anything except to say, "I don't know"? Because Kavanaugh DID answer everything, had dates and times and calendars for the things he did in that time frame? Because the witnesses back him up? Because dozens of people have come forward and said he wouldn't do this? Because Ford giggles, laughs and smiles during this supposedly traumatic hearing? Because her "polygraph" only had 2 questions which she took on the day of her grandma's funeral and prepared for hours before answering? Because the last FBI investigation has been going on for 2 years with Trump with millions of dollars spent and has gone nowhere? Because the FBI will "investigate" right up until elections so the democrats have a chance to get the majority?

Sure doesn’t sound or look like a measured approach that we should expect from a Supreme Court judge. He knows that he is not in a court and he knows that his integrity needs to be above any doubt whatsoever. Not reasonable doubt, ANY doubt. There is certainly doubt from at least one credible witness. That should be enough. He won’t be charged with a criminal matter, so he should simply go back and live out his life as a free person. It’s a job interview not a criminal trial. Whether or not he’s fed up with the process he has to behave like someone that is fit for this position. I don’t know if any other job interview where the prospect behaved liked this and was hired. Besides his temperament he said a Devil’s Triangle was a drinking game and defined boofing as flatulence. We have every right to expect that federal judges will be fair and impartial and independent, but independent doesn't equate to being temperamental, vindinctive and unaccountable. A judge that is so temperamental and vindictive, although he may be independent, is not a judge that we - the people - should accept, nor expect, to make decisions that are in the best interests of the people, on behalf of the people.
Mr. Kavanaugh's refusal to be fully vetted (not willing to be investigated by the FBI as some of the people's representatives wanted) and his POOR TEMPERAMENT during the nomination process, can only lead a rational person to conclude that Mr. Kavanaugh was/is an unsuitable candidate to serve as one of our justices.
Boy, this guy has a lot of bile in him. And he uses his anger to obfuscate and not answer the question asked. Question: Why do you not want the FBI to investigate. Answer: I wanted to talk to the Republican majority Senate Judicial Committee. It is purposeful anger, invented indignation. His anger strikes me as the tantrum of a poor little rich kid not getting his entitlement when he demands it. This guy has an attitude that is reminiscent of Trump's rich boy petulance.
Exactly a lot of people noticed this
Answer: The FBI can't investigate something from 35 years ago during his childhood regarding a party nobody remembers because there were so many parties. It's easy to see how events from 35 years ago can get mixed up and confused. If you're going to oppose kavanugh, oppose his policies. Not bring up something from 35 years ago that information was held back on until the last minute when he was about to be confirmed.
it must be the gastritis
Wow this guy is unbelievable...he has went full on trump mode
You are guilty until you can prove yourself innocent if a liberal accuses you
his name has been dragged through the mud. how do you8 think he and his family feel? he is not a celebrity, he's not used to being the center of news controversy. so the first time he receives nation wide attention is because of some fake accusation?? id be very emotional too. lefties just cant get over 2016 its sad.
Hahaha... which one - Kavanaugh or Graham? They need to compose themselves... why so hysterical?
Gone*
@@tstocker69 Don't be a dumbfuck. We're citizens, not the judicial system. We can determine guilt without breaking any rules.
Did you ever see how a little kid lies with every muscle straining to support their plea? Well that's what I see with Brett. Brett is obviously lying .
In America a person used to be innocent until proven guilty.
What's happening to this political party, this media and this country is a tragedy.
He comes off as a privileged rich kid having a temper tantrum
Margaret Garbincus that's exactly the way he appears to me.
true
That's DONALD TRUMP! Snobby, spoiled, entitled frat boys!
It’s Brock Turner all grown up.
Lol
I was on the fence about Kavanaugh until I saw this performance. You could see the hostility in his eyes. Had he actually answered any of the questions put to him by Dems I'd be more sympathetic to him. And notice how he answered the Democratic senators as opposed to the much more restrained and respectful way he answered questions from the Republicans. This was staged and is probably the product of the nine hours he spent being coached at the White House last weekend. Sadly I think he will get confirmed after all, but I guarantee that the Republicans will feel the wrath of female voters in November as a result.
florencemarlowe '!
And you would be so cool, a woman coming up after all those years saying lie after lie, and you would be like no problem, keep drinking the kool aid Democrats !!! You see we’re we are today !!
@@MAB1907 I would so like to respond to this, but I have no idea what you're trying to say.
It's like the Most Unstable Person/Man to Ever Run for the Supreme Court of the US!
He was near crying. A judge is losing his view, cuz he got questions. He breaks down, and his temper is like a childs.
Dr. Ford came forward on her own this was not political!!!!!
I agree, but whether it was or was not political can't be proven by Brett's wild and frothing speculation.
His temperament and judgement is quite bad.
He may not remember what he does when he drinks. This should be a learning lesson for boys today in college!
nayinayi1 I wonder how many alcoholics watching him think he needs AA?
Playing the victim
Exposing lies under oath would have been a serious threat to his appointment. It would have
been more difficult to "get fired up about"while conveying righteous outrage. Moral indignation with implications of partisan manipulation, mightjus
These old dudes on the Senate need to go by by
They are household names back in their States like Budweiser Marlboro and coca cola. Their levers will still be pulled on Election Day.
also bye bye
"Revenge on the behalf of the Clintons?" WTF! Kavanaugh was unhinged.
He was on the commission dealing with Bill Clintons sexual misconduct.
The man obviously has to pull out all the stops in the face of such serious allegations, I don't blame him
The emergency deflection button called "Clinton". You know they're cornered when they reach for that.
tilog didn’t get that either.. where is the evidence?...
I'm blown by this. How did Brett Kavanaugh got away with this?
Notice as soon as Klobuchar said the word "alcoholism" Kavanaugh twitched? And another, sniff reaction, when she said her dad is 90 and sober. A mention of his college roommate, SNIFF. When she said truthfulness, he looked like he had a bout of indegestion. When she said, you said sometimes you had too many drinks - BIG SNIFF. He seems to be adjusting his vision as he looks around settles on something to focus on, and is his lips (as skinny and nearly invisible as they are) are persed so tight, his eyes widen and then return to normal, frequently. Like, what is with this guy? I will say this, when George HW Bush said on TV, "Read my lips. No new taxes", I yelled at the TV and said, "WHAT LIPS? YOU DON'T HAVE ANY LIPS?" Not long thereafter, George HW Bush raised taxes on Americans (because Reagan had left us in a bad way that became a deep recession, but not as bad as the recession George Dubbya Bush left for Pres. Obama to clean up). And, the lesson from that is? Don't trust anyone who doesn't have lips.
Okay, so this big, moist, nervous-acting baby judge wants an answer from a Congresswoman about her drinking? And then a "Nor do I" as he twists in his seat and sits back arrogantly with his chin up like he just won a chess game. What is wrong with this guy???
Yep, he is a kegger. He lied through all of this. And, when he flipped out screaming and crying and having a fit in his chair, he should have been removed from the chambers in a straightjacket. I hope the walls in his office at the Extreme Court are padded, and no sharp objects are allowed in there.
Amy Barrett has got to be the most dishonest of them all, however. But, Kavanaugh's communication about how Roe is settled, and went into detail about it being settled, really shows the hypocrisy in him, voting to end Roe. At least, that is what it appears to be from the leaked document, that is so ammatuerishly written in chaos and backing it up with testimony from either people from anciet times (lol) and from another judge on the Sup.Ct. It is chaos and makes little sense. What they did was, decide to end Roe, and then tried to come up with ways to do it. Other rulings they have made should be looked at closely, especially take time ot read the dissenting opinions of Judge Sotomayor as she doesn't hold back and clearly spells out why the right-wingers on the Court were wrong in their Opinions - still professional, but she is very clear and will flat out say they were wrong and then prove how they are wrong. This Court is a shame, an embarrassment, a blight on this Democratic Republic, as is the entire GOP/RNC, NRA, PACs and Super PACs - they all need a good shake-down, clean up and toss out event to occur or America is destined to become lost and oppressive and not a trustworthy partner with other countries for any purpose. Canada and Mexico will fly around the US instead of over the US when they visit each other.
She lets him rant and rage like an unhinged white privileged prat. He just appears to be digging his own grave.
how so? ford couldnt bring any evidence against him.
@@lindinle It has nothing to do with Blasey Ford's testimony and everything to do with how outraged and triggered he appeared. One psychologist I saw interviewed explained that those telling the truth will appear calm, measured, in control and do not show anger. Those telling a lie appear to try to convince with their level of outrage and passion (quite loudly) but with little factual substance.
Wendy Schneider TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!
"ohh if he was innocent he would be as cool as a cucumber"
someone clearly has never been falsely accused before.

If it talks like a drunk, gets mad like a drunk, argues like a drunk, fight like a drunk---it probably is a drunk
Only drunks get mad? That's the only thing you said that actually has anything to do with him.
+Chad Murphy You buffoon, reread what he said. He didn't say only drunk people can get mad, he said he gets mad like a drunk person would. Absolutely incredible, the intelligence of these people...
+Syko216 Sweetheart, try saying that again. But this time, slowly.
I still can't believe he was given a lifelong position lmao the US government has been such a comedy and reality show for the most recent years. This isn't even about him being a republican, it's about a man who threw a tantrum in order to avoid answering legit questions. More than the questions and avoided answers, his uncontrolled behavior and temperament alone should have raised enough doubt about his ability to serve on the highest court.
There is so much mishmashed in this. Just watch senator Graham’s full rant.
Kavanaugh dodging FBI involvement. Temperament problems, anger issues. Imagining this guy drunk would scare the heck out of most women.
He's already been investigated by the FBI six times.
Here are the facts:
1. There is not one witness that Ford ever even met Kavanaugh.
2. Ford was caught in outright lies during the hearing.
3. Ford's polygraph was only two questions and those questions were not about Kavanaugh.
ekpurdy, please don't give libards facts, it will make them confused and they will go burn down a city.
ekpurdy
The FBI did not investigate this specific allegation because they did not know about it. As to your "facts":
1. Not true
2. Not true
3. HOW do you know what Ms. Ford's polygraph consisted of?
The repukeagains want this guy to do their bidding whether he is guilty as sin or not. Lindsey's hemorrhoids must have been activated by some hot sauce.
ekpurdy Actually, no. You are ignoring the fact that witnesses were NOT allowed to give evidence. That’s the whole point, if she is lying, let the fbi SHOW she is lying by checking out her story.
Even if allegations are untrue, this person is not fit for the job.
True. Very unprofessional. Wow
The only thing that surprised me about Kavanaugh was that not once did he blame Obama during the hearing.
Oh, I didn't realize that judges were supposed to be robots that aren't capable of emotion. Good thing I found this video and read some of the comments, now I know.
emotion is ok, political bias is not , if you want an example of a proper judiciary then look at kings 3:16 ;)
@@mickkidston7344 Pointless reply. I'm responding to the throngs of comments about how he is too emotional to be a judge. I made no mention of whether or not he had any sort of political bias.
mick kidston Is Kavanaugh being investigated for political bias? I thought this was about some phony sexual assault story from 30+ years ago 🤔
“judicial temperament”???
Out of desperation, Dems’ _new litmus test_ is to put the nominee through a litany of ENDLESS, DEEPLY PERSONAL allegations *no matter how ridiculous* - treating him GUILTY _until_ PROVEN INNOCENT...
combined with _constant_ barrage of Democrat bullying
- to see if he has the “judicial temperament.”
The sword cuts _both_ ways: the Republicans too ought to be allowed to _constantly_ bully a Democrat nominee and put him through a litany of ENDLESS, DEEPLY PERSONAL allegations *no matter how ridiculous* treating him GUILTY _until_ PROVEN INNOCENT. . . to see if the nominee has this so-called “judicial temperament”. . . Right?
We have never done this to any of the previous nominees. For that reason, we would NOW always wonder if any of the previously confirmed nominees has ever passed this newly leftist litmus test for “judicial temperament.”

that doesnt mean he is blind to who is attacking him. the left is clearly snarling and foaming at the mouth for this guys throat and u expect him to act like he doesn't know who is attacking him? The left has been unhinged since they lost in 2016 and they just cant get over it.

Dicky Jones I'd happily support any investigation of perjury on her immediately following the one for Kavanaugh's 5 already proven lies to the Senate before any of this even started. He lied to the Senate on things that are easily provably false.
It's hard to sit and listen this guy cry I'm about ready to leave
"Have you?" .Wow. True narcissist there. He's on trial and needs to answer a question about himself - yes or no - and he answers to the Senator, "Have you?" (ever blacked out). It's interesting that he thinks it's a common thing to black out from alcohol at least at a young age. I drank heavily at times in high school and after, but never blacked out. And although plenty of young people have, not everyone does. It's not something that is exactly normal - maybe not uncommon - but not a normal experience done by all. Seems to me that he has convinced himself that drinking to black out is just a normal thing all people do here and there. Kind of thing a delusional alcoholic would tell themselves.
