- Taken from the Whispering Jack Live In Concert VHS but not remastered and released on the DVD. Down On The Border was a single by the Little River Band (featuring John Farnham) released in 1982. It reached #7 on the Australian Charts. It's from the LRB album The Net.

As an Victorian CFA fireman, during those terrible months l did 3 tours, one in NSW, GIPPSLAND and Snowymountains. The lost of people and homes and those poor animals has scared me as well as my fellow fire-fighters. Thank you for your help😊❤

I beat you both so far, 69 and still foot tapping! Lol Gotta love John his voice, his band and his overall loveliness! I was privileged enough to shake his hand at The Entertainment Centre back in the day. It took all of my strength not to drag him off the stage lol ❤️🇦🇺

I first watched John Farnham in 1990 s when he sing a duet with Chiu Hai Chen.I have already watched John Farnham sang with human nature but I have to admir that Ibhave never watch him singing in a concert

Really Kevin I did not know that David Hirschfelder is quite an extensive career in his music and films soundtracks
Gosh to I am so proud of the sheer amount of talent that we have in this country💯🇦🇺 WEVE TOP QUALITY,VERY EXTENSIVE sooomuch talent in. Both of the arts movies music and sports we shall give the world a run for their money don’t we? Also did you know that Hirshfelder was in shine Playing the piano probably for most of it except for one the Rack 3!!
That in itself is a very interesting story about three weeks before the German pianist they chosen to play this piece incredibly insanely hard piece ‘A piece for elephants” 😵as David Helfgott said(me myself I come from a very classical background my father being a professional musician in the orchestra Melbourne Symphony-I am a cellist and we have a family Orchestra and used to the country as children as a family Orchestra everybody loved it except us kids because it was such a good word I didn’t appreciate it one little bit then but now I realise how lucky I am! Anyway I digress - back to the story so this pianist they had chosen got sick and couldn’t play so they were in a frenzy frantically trying to find another replacement not too many around he can play that at no notice and it turned out my doctors son was the one who played that piece for the movie no practice no rehearsal! He had just won a recital and so he has obviously polished it right up but seriously he just performed go to the piano the conductor looked at him he nodded his head and that’s it I went for it!
I’m assuming you are familiar with classical music if not check it out personally I don’t really like it but it’s an impossible piece so I appreciate it for that reason
PS who the hell is Wayne Nelson?I’m a little too young being born in 1969 so I only was around for Glenn sure and they were pretty much finishing up and John was going solo
