This is so special, John is one of a kind, cool and humble, a master of live entertainment. He has been around a long time and is still highly regarded even elsewhere in the world. Huge respect for this man, he earned it !
Perfect moment at 3:14 when the piper salutes John, John salutes the piper and then whisks the mike stand high in the air and catches it in time for the last chorus! Magic!
I visited Australia in 2002. I ended up in a little house in a holidaypark in Bachus Marsch. Noting to do in the evening, so I turned on the TV. John was on and blow me away with this song. Sing every word to this day when I hear it. Good to read he is doing well.
Hope you are well and had a lovely time in Oz.
You hold it together, singing alone.. Chest out... Pride blossoming.. Then the Scottish bagpipes kick in... The tears start flowing. ❤
This instead of prayer to start the day in every school!
Not many songs like this will come along in my lifetime . Embrace them when they do.
This song is so real especially for the hero's in Ukraine
I've always wished I'd been born 15 or 20 years earlier so I could have seen him live in concert.
That was my 2024 theme song….
And this right here is one of the best versions ever!!
I am from México, and when I was learning this beautiful language, this song was my inspiration!
One of the best songs ever!
