As commented... "resurrecting" discontinued frags is what Dua specializes in.
Rasasi Hawas came out in 2015 before Invictus Aqua in 2016, therefore Paco Robanne potentially cloned/was inspired by Hawas. If anything Hawas was inspired by the original Invictus (released 2013) and put a more aquatic spin on it.

The idea of making clones of discontinued scents is something I’ve always thought about and wondered why Armaf has never done it.
Because, if its discontinued then it means it doesn't sell well.

@@grey7987 agree. You can tell that Greatness is better quality and a little more refined, Glory is a little synthetic... But the price difference makes Glory way more worth getting for anyone who's not a niche snob 😂

I really like Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge, a BR450 inspired fragrance, really pleasant and very strong. Stands up well next to Mancera Instant Crush but a fraction of the price.
Ameer al oud intense (by the fireplace clone) is incredible 👏. The only thing you'll want to wear on a cold day 🥶

He is so right about Club da Nuit Intense. When I first tried it, I was puzzled by the hype because the opening indeed, was really harsh. I thought, this can't be right. Later, I would try it on my wrist away from my nose, and left it dry down a bit. That's when it hit me. But, what was amazing was the longetivity. I sprayed on my wrist late morning, and much latert that night about 3AM, I had to get up to empty my bladder. Just on a whim, I gave my wrist a whiff and it was still there!
Club de Nuit is astonishing on longevity. I happen to love it but my wife and kids don't. I sprayed it six times in air when I first opened it in our basement and it still smells down there 2 days later!

Tabac man Firepower from Maurer & Wirtz is THE BEST dirt cheap Gucci envy clone. Soooooo worth the minimal price to try it out. Speaking as a dude that owns the original and the clone.

Ash, love it! But…Afnan Modest Une is the best Suvauge clones, actually may be 99% there, and performance is equal or better. I sprayed it on a shirt and I could still smell it after it was washed! Sometime do a review of your favorite car manufacturers colognes, Bentley, Jaguar, Ferrari, etc. your new vids are very professional and I love the commentary and humor! Every time I tell my wife hey let’s go check out the rack stores, she goes don’t you have enough Cologne, I say, are you kidding I am shy of 200 and I need to get there!

I only own 2 from Alexandria so far (Hawaii Volcano and Cacao Dreams), both are really nice. But they do have a line of fragrances that are inspired by discontinued and reformulated scents! Even a Gucci Envy one.

What is even more odd is that Ash used to cover them. He pretty much abandoned them and so has most youtubers which goes to show you they mainly peddle the fragrances that they get for free or kickbacks from.

Try out Perfume Parlour in the UK, they have all the fragrances also, yes they have Gucci Guilty and Valentino V as well as other discontinued fragrances. Chris from Fragmental has used these alot and reviews them too.

I have both Armaf Club Nuit and Creed Aventus. They smell almost alike, but the Club is a little harsher. For the price, it's a no brainer.
We don’t need any more Aventus clones. To all the fragrance replicators out there. “Resurrection” is the next step in marketing fragrances. Bring back the missed discontinued gems and improve them.

Dua actually has a clone of Escada Magnetism…which has been discontinued for awhile now. And it’s spot on!!👌🏻And yes, I know he said he wasn’t going to include dua in this video. Just throwin it out there.
Afnan 9am is unisex and smells great. It's a clone of one of the aquas from mfk. Well worth the money for day or night fragrance for warm weather. Great performance too. My favorite from afnan is Gold supremacy. It's a warm and spicy peach fragrance with great performance. Cool weather and date night fragrance. I don't what it's a clone of or if it's even a clone.
As much as I use to dislike clones my opinion has changed. I own a Club de Nuit Intense Man and that there is what changed my attitude towards clones. That there is amazing and yes the beginning can be a lil off putting smelling like lemon pledge but the dry down is so great and it lasts and pushes for so many hours. I did end up purchasing Insurrection II Wild lastnight and liked what I've heard and read about it. This was a fantastic video idea and I'm definitely gonna have to check more of what was said out in the near future.
Insurrection II Pure is is what you need to try. Also cdnim pure parfum is great and doesn't have harsh opening of edt.. I prefer mugler Pure Havane instead of insurrection II wild

LE Parfum has much nicer opening than the edt.

Greetings Ashton. You should try Afnan's Rare Carbon. Smells very similar to Tom Ford's Ombre Leather. A worthy alternative.

I would love to see any of these brands to create a clone of Midnight In Paris I love that fragrance so much I'll pay teh 250 bucks for it, Afnan has a fragrance called Rare Carbon which is an amazing Hombre Leather clone, Rasasi has one called Fattan which is an amazing Terre D'Hermes clone and Rasasi also has a fragrance called Shuhrah which is an amazing fragrance for any price espectially the price you pay for it.
Dua has A clone of midnight in Paris for $55. The reviews are very promising. It is called A champs-Élysées at Midnight. It’s only 55 bucks with a 15% discount it comes out to $40. I like the description of it so much I think I’ll buy it just as a blind by next time I get paid
I love the smell of curve connect, and I always get compliments when I wear it. The problem is that it's an edt, and I'm looking for something similar that is an edp. Any recommendations?

Gents scents you’re a legend. I’ve just got Afnan 9pm and it’s an Ultra male clone BEAST. Performance is 10 hours + and projected so long it gave me a headache. But that’s how I like my fragrances

Club De Nuit Intense for Women is great too. It's a clone of Tom Ford Noir De Noir, which is unisex.
Discontinued release is a great idea. Gucci Envy, Victor and Rolf Antidote, Gucci pour Homme, Ralph Lauren Romance for men. Men great idea
I don't agree that clone houses shall start when a frag is discontinued, then it is too late...I think they have to clone latest when the original one gets reformulated, so that they copy the orginal version with the better performance.

As others have said DUA does discontinued fragrances or earlier versions of current ones as well.
I believe that clone fragrances from the Alexandria brand is definitely worth your time and would be rated above many of these...EASILY!!
I really love Oud for G, but it does not always work so well in hot weather. Any advice on what I could get that could be along those lines but as a more summer/hot weather scent? :)
