To some out there if your platform is uneven from start Sean and 1 Sean when you test your game it is because from the start Sean end level border Y position has to match the Y position start level border in 1 Sean.

*Make sure that the Y position values of these are the same:*
- The END border of the scene called Start
- And the START border of the scene called 1 (the scene that you duplicated)
*[ NOTE ]* I also had to change the END border of my "1" scene to match. So my position values are like this:
*"Start" Scene's START border:* Y = 0
*"Start" Scene's END border:* Y = 0
*"1" Scene's START border:* Y = 0
*"1" Scene's END border too:* Y = 0

Thank you for the tutorial!! I'm wondering how to make a defense-style game where my "character" is in the middle with waves of enemies that motion towards it, but with the ability to place obstacles and turrets between you and the enemies to alter their path and protect yourself. "Paper Defense" and "Desktop Tower Defense" are two older titles doing something similar to what I have in mind. They look like they might be simple enough for a tutorial if you'd be so kind :)

This guy's videos would make a great drinking game. Every time he says, "go ahead," you could "go ahead" and take a drink. I don't think I'd make it through one video before I'd "go ahead" and pass out.
Not sure where I went wrong, when I press play my screen flies upwards until I can no longer see it.
I guess I'll start again from the beginning of the video.
I am sort of confused, I did everything in the video exactly how it's done but for some reason when the cube lands on the platform, it falls through it but you can still see half of the cube and it is acting like there is a platform beneath the original platform.

here am I following every step u do even rewatched it twice and then u press play after setting ur platform to static and ur block falls on the platform then I press play and it falls trough.... its on character and Dynamic all the same settings u have, im clueless xD

I am unable to preview the project to check the details. When I select the debug mode, I can check the collision figures, but I am unable to check this in the normal preview. Apart from this, extracted the game to my pc after creating (preview was not working) and the game is also not working.
I added the start scene, which I can see in the preview, but apart from that, I cannot see anything. Can anyone please assist?

Make sure all your values are set to 0 and that your platform overlaps the start and end scene. If you are still experiencing issues please contact support@buildbox.com
I want to make interactive touch screen game where you touch in an specific area and you have like for example: Apple on ground. When touch on it you grab it or obtain it.

Yes, those are some fairly advanced functions but it is possible with Buildbox.

How did you loop the scene??
By duplicating the start scene and deleting the main character from the duplicated scene.

the character pass through the coin and don't take it, and score still zero,

There are lots of different ways to make your character move. You can use brainboxes and nodes such as the side move or touch move node.

Even at start my platform is not flat from everyside, its like moved at top and bottom like few blocks are out, wtf

Be sure to check all your collision shapes. Make sure your characters collision group is set to character.
for some reason my platform shows up as steps rather than one constant path. Any reason why? Im following the tutorial step by step.

Simply go up to view next to the file tab, click scene view, then reset view and that should reset your view to default. If you experience any more issues, please email support@buildbox.com
