At worst its 3m in gaol or a fine, or more likely a fine and some good behaviour so all the involved parties can grow the fuck up a bit.
When you get the tyre iron out its getting into the big leagues of Affray and that can mean 10yr if someone gets really messed up in the process of you beating their face to look like a dropped pie.

There's a different feeling I think pedestrians have when they are part of a small group, especially at a set of traffic lights, as they are all on a same "mission" - to get to the other side. That feeling is one of being the same as they are all flesh and blood - the same level of "armour". Their numbers make them feel "bigger" and "safer", not much different to how herd animals who are also prey animals will huddle together as defence against predators. The possible threats to the walking pedestrians are the motorists as they are in more "armour" with their heavy, fast, package of metal. While they may not have given an extreme reaction to this close call to death, they may very well reflect on how close it was hours later. The moral of the story is to look and hear both ways before crossing the road. That's the best control you have around the roads, you have no control over what motorists behind their steering wheel and gas pedal do.
The conversation at 6:22 was infuriating just to listen to. Asking a question and then interrupting the answer with ‘huh?’ and then asking the question again!

5. Those who sit at the red light, and when the light goes green, put on the indicator and leave you stuck behind them in traffic, when if they had indicated sooner, you had plenty of time to change lanes to get around them.

Sometimes I think they are all on meth.
A lot of those traffic control jobs hire young backpackers.
They get to block traffic both on and off the job.

It is heading towards that sort of thing happening here though thanks to employers only wanting to hire full-time casual so they can avoid paying benefits. Backpackers will still have to commit to investing in the course but if they do, there's plenty of work available for them
I really think big rigs and trucks should be banned from the right hand lane on a 3 lane freeway like in the UK. The number of times you have a truck going 95kph being overtaken by a truck doing 96kph being overtaken by a truck doing 97kph... uphill and by the time you get to the top we are all doing 75kph in a massive queue.
in my country trucks above 7.5 tonnes are banned from the inside lane even on a 2 lanes freeway - although we use the wrong side of the road ...
The alternative is to hire decent human beings to drive trucks.
They're only allowed to use the 2 left lanes on the main highway from the Gold Coast to Brisbane.👍

I have to also say Respect to truck drivers they do do a hard job. There are some like the middle lane hog who are just bad drivers and give the rest problems.
@@ferencmolnar6474 in most European countries (Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy among others) drivers know which lane they are meant to be in.
Here in AU, half of the people on the road don't have a damn clue which lane they should be in, and they're too busy looking at some stupid BS on their cellular phone to care.
Another entertaining and instructive 20 minutes, reminding all that - if you want to be safe when driving - you have look out for others' mistakes, not just your own.
Which isn't always possible, but mostly is.
But there appears to be a lot of new drivers who don't know what defensive driving is, and will argue the point in here that the camera car was in the "right". Happens every time in here when someone points out how the camera car could have done things better and avoided the accident. There's never going to zero confused people and dickheads on the road.

It looked to me like they were fatigued and losing control a bit maybe due to microsleeping, depending on the state they can get in trouble if they have been skipping breaks or driving longer hours than allowed. Some trucks also have face cameras that can detect sleepiness in drivers (ie dropping eyes/yawning). But it all depends on whether their trucking company is willing to investigate

Nah mate, well yes and no. My bet is on SUVs. The statics of SUVs involved in crashes has surged the past few years. This is, of course, also due to the fact that more SUVs are being sold compared to before. Hence, the common idiot will more than likely be in an SUV rather than, say, a ute.
P.s. Ill start writing my dissertation after the new DCoA : P
I did some analysis of a few compilations and the number of utes involved far exceeds other vehicle types even though they account for only 25% of sales over the past 5 years
I'd like to see a comparison of colours and time of day or weather. I'm willing to bet that Silver cars are well represented in low light or rain.

We definitely should be made to do a defensive driving course and immigrants be made to learn English and sit our written and driving tests. Also people with a good driving record should be given a twenty five percent discount off your rego this way is a good incentive to be more careful. We need more marked police vehicles to help make them behave.

If you have come from overseas and are living in Victoria, you may be able to convert your international licence to a Victorian one without taking any form of test. Depends on experience, age and country.
Immigrants i agree they shld use public transport... marked vehicles preferable over unmarked but definitely the less the better...and finally more aussie hoons because they are actually safer than retard immigrants. End of story

You throw the manual into first gear or into reverse depending on the slope and the way the car is facing...maybe on a hill....
Now along comes a Ranger and hits your car reasonably hard causing $4000 panel damage.
The car gets towed to the panel shop and $4000 later...it's fixed.
You get in to drive it and first or reverse graunches and crunches and then goes poopy in it's trousers.
Your car gets towed to the mechanic who $400 later has opened your gearbox and shows you a mangled first or reverse cog, it's shaft and a smashed case.
Second hand g box $2000....
You go "I know what happened...the crash!" and so you file a claim with your insurance company.....
"I'm sorry but we cannot accept that claim as it is not proven to be related to your car being run into....." says the nice man with the strong Indian accent answering your query from his call centre in Mumbai.
Now..do you think leaving it in any gear is a good idea?

He's been turning with wardens and pilots stopping traffic for him and some fuckwits still speed through the intersection while he's making the turn JUST missing going under his trailer. One guy nearly decapitated himself. Absolute braindead dumbfucks out there, mate.
