Billy Connolly was 10/10, Victoria Wood 10/10, Dame Edna 20/10. Satire this good is rare. Perfection. Xx ... a rocket... Xx Only Peter Cook comes close ..
You will be missed forever and a day ... And thankfully we have all these videos of YOU making everyone laugh ... Thank you magical man Barry Humphries with Dame Edna and all your fantastic characters, What a "Gift" you were to this world ❤💫
It’s amazing how much people at this time loved being at the sharp end of a comedians tongue but nowadays most people would burn the theatre down over this. Barry was right when he called our current world “new Puritanism.”
I remember (all too clearly) having front row seats and forgetting our tickets... Dame Edna threw lines at us regularly throughout the show. I thought it was hilarious but my partner was in tears!
Just don't know he did it .I have seen all the Big stars .... and she pops the socks off them all :) and i mean that in the nicest possible way possums :D
What a loss today. Our megastar will always shine bright in her possum’s hearts. RIP.
Gosh! we need this today …. They don’t make them like this anymore…
All PC and weird crap today ,I'm so glad for dame Edna and Les Patterson but they are gone forever.😢
It's just a good day to watch Dame Edna with the sad passing of Barry Humphreys, RIP Barry you will be missed❤
No one on Earth is greater.
Barry Humphries was a true "Master of Words". Thank you for all the laughs!
Not sure, but I think this was the first ever "An Audience with..." If so it's good to see they chose a genius for it.
RIP 🙏🙏xx
Wonderful BARRY HUMPHRIES Rest in Peace .❤
Still sorely missed, March 2024.
1:11:16 Watch that multiple times to see the delight and shock that that induces in people.
Barry loved to shock

Humphries will never be cancelled.
Hannah Gatsby, that young """comedian""", tried.
@@jcee6886 no she didn’t. She criticised him but didn’t call for him to be cancelled.
Fair dinkum that has to be the ugliest studio audience ever assembled!
Thats the reality of the 80's for you.
Its those quirky and moody facial expressions that just kill me.. I love him..Thank you for making me laugh even on my darkest days. RIP Dame Edna.

Little person of the cloth😄😄😄
Old school genius
Ian Charleson sitting behind Dame Kiri. Gone far, far too soon.
Colourful dame -
Aw little Margot Hemmingway looking VERY unimpressed at having found herself the butt of a joke...She ended up topping herself unsurprisingly.
I thought she did not look with it here? Poor lady RIP.
@@elsiemarina2572 She looked terrible...

Not gonna lie, I watch this types of things and think:
Dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead
Frank Ifield seems a real gent.

Great entertainer
The real Aznavour
Extraordinary, nothing like this is my lifetime, definitely a 'Genius' very articulate and insightful!
Beautiful smile what a nice shot
Can you get an audience with Jackie mason? From the 90s I think.

Anyone watching this in the USA? I would be interested in your opinion.
Margaux Hemingway. Sad to see her before sadness came.
Just don't know he did it .I have seen all the Big stars .... and she pops the socks off them all :) and i mean that in the nicest possible way

Reminds me of Phyllis Diller….
Never seen Dennis Healey and David Steel blush on the same piece of film before.
