I simply just want to help businesses and individuals transport their goods. And if you are doing both then put “1” for interstate.

I previously commented for my husband, I want to thank you for all the info, he started his business and should be running soon. I want to know if I would need two different business license if I want to broker and dispatch? Will I need 2 separate mc#’s? Thank you and hopefully you can help. Yes broker MC and DOT # separate then carrier MC & DOT # you would have to apply on FMCSA website instead of choosing carriers choose broker. You don’t need anything if you are going to be dispatching for your husband. It will help your husband a lot if you do brokerage with dispatching you will have more chances to be successful in this business.

    • @RATLLC
      @RATLLC  3 года назад +1

      You are right my friend but I did say this in the beginning of this video depends on what you are applying for the reason you see “0 non CMV” because you are cmv not a NON CMV “Non commercial vehicle” and the other reason is intrastate and interstate so if you operate interstate then you don’t need to put 1 for intrastate but if you are operating intrastate ONLY then you need to put 1 in intrastate so if you put one in both it will show as 1 for CMV. Nothing “0”for NON CMV hope that helps let me know if you still need more assistance.

Q2. Yes you can when you apply for General freight i have that in U.S DOT/ MC video. Q3. Your insurance is going to be expensive and hard to get when it’s your first time commercial driving everything is based on experience but I didn’t have any experience when I started out and I got insurance..when you are starting out fresh it’s going to cost about roughly $5k down payment $1600 a month x’s that by 12 is annually in California rest I can explain in a video to much info. Q4 everything comes to you when you start doing loads you make connections with brokers and develop good relationships when you do good honest work but mostly I use central dispatch it’s $115 monthly fee and have to have good ratings for brokers to give you loads and it’s not hard to develop that just have to do crappy loads in the beginning then you will go forward the other I use is Metroloads and many more I can put in a video also. I’m trying hard to upload all the videos just be patient I’ll get them uploaded thanks.

      Your drivers would need medical cards and if you are also driving you need one also.

      That my friend depends on you how much are you willing to work....if you were doing 5 to 6 days a week you can grows 6-9K a week which comes out to be 288k Or 432k a year Gross income. Keep in mind not “NET INCOME”. Subtract your diesel maintenance cost for load boards etc. which will give you net income and that’s really hard to pinpoint. Only way to find out is for you to get out and see how much you made after a year.
