@@CookWithStephh best wishes to you!!! You really CAN do it!! I never thought after smoking daily for 35 years, I’d ever be able to be weed free, yet here I am on day 91!!! & despite loneliness, loosing my grandad, relocating to San Diego where I know no one, a divorce from a diagnosed narcissist, no sex for damn near two years, complete isolation & turning the big 50 in January, I have never felt better! Lol felt like my life is in the season of a sad country song :) But My mind is clear, my appetite is normal, I’m less depressed, my breath smells better, have more energy & I’m not spending a fortune. Your first month will be difficult, you may have crazy dreams, insomnia, lack of appetite & cry more than usual, but it passes and will be well worth it. Be gentle with yourself, drink lots of water, eat light, go for walks, ride the waves of emotions & practice encouraging yourself with positive words. I also used GABA with L-theanine, 5000 iu of D3, and NAC 900 mg 2x per day as advised by a holistic Dr. to help with withdrawal & depression. detoxing from heavy news, watching stand up & listening to Jason Stephenson 8 hour meditations at night/during sleep to help my mind rest helped a lot too. Writing a pro/con list & writing reasons to stop on my mirror also helped. Researching the effects of weed on the body & Dr. Frank & Dr. Gabor Mate videos helped tremendously. The damage is rarely spoken of- especially in California & as a hip hop head where it’s “just part of the culture”. I know how hard it is to quit so Im VERY PROUD OF YOU for taking the leap towards the best version of yourself. Extend yourself grace if you relapse and then begin again. It’s the most loving thing I’ve ever done for myself. May you extend yourself the same love, you’re more than worthy & your future self will thank you. Sending you extra strength endurance & a hug. Congratulations You got this!!! 🙏🏽🤎😊

@@jamiebloor2064 “quitting smoking is easy, I’ve done it a thousand times” 😭
But in all seriousness I keep quitting and getting drawn back in from the pink cloud…I recently quit for 41 days before starting to smoke again…I noticed that every time I quit I start doing better in life and every time I start smoking again it’s like a dark cloud comes over my life…when I quit smoking I can stop other bad habits like adult media content/fapping and when I smoke “idgaf” but then after the deed I regret it much more….smoking makes me lazy and lethargic, makes me unable to hold my bladder, makes me say shit I shouldn’t have when conversing with people, makes me do shit I shouldn’t have, etc….
Starting to realize I really am chasing that feeling of smoking with my friends when we were younger but now I have no friends that smoke as much as me, doesn’t really feel like I have any friends at all…feels like everyone grew out of smoking and went on with their lives and I’m still stuck living in my teen years….even this past week I only spent like $83.00 on 3 joints and a vape and I’m mad at myself for wasting that money on a flower to burn up, thinking about all the other shit I could’ve did with that money, even it was something small like buying self development books
Sometimes I quit for 175 days, sometimes 80 days, sometimes only 41 days like this last stint but everytime I return the regret is more and more, and everytime I come back I realize just how much brainwashing i have to do just in order to smoke….that first high always makes me feel sick and near the point of blacking out…but then when I get “low” or back to normal I feel below baseline and smoke again and BOOM I’m back in the cycle….
You should check out the book “the easy way to quit smoking” by Alan Carr…It talks about this brainwashing
Anyways after This vape hopefully I can put down this segment of my life and stop smoking for good. Each time I return and have a bad high and see my life going the wrong direction it further stamps the need to stop smoking for good

Headaches, insomnia and horrible nightmares over here on day 5. Last night my friend and I were covering up a murder we did (in my nightmare) and it was just horrific. The night before someone drained my bank account because I gave him my card and PIN and I lost my life savings and retirement fund. Then while I was trying to find him to see if I could get it back a war broke out around us all in an incredibly crowded situation and it seemed like hours of frantic terror for the pathetic 3 hours of sleep I got. This is the video that convinced me to quit cannabis. I was ready for whatever symptoms came my way. It’s day ten, and it’s been shockingly easy. I’ve had a little bit of irritability, a touch of insomnia, and absolutely wild dreams, but that’s it. I was vaping dry herb and occasionally using edibles, but no carts and rarely using concentrate, so I wonder if that’s part of why withdrawal has been so easy for me. Thank you for the motivation and encouragement your videos provide!
After ten days of no use, I feel amazing. My motivation to do things is higher, thinking is clearer, energy is higher. My agoraphobia has almost entirely gone away and I feel an urge to leave the house, which hasn’t happened in three years. I didn’t realize how much regular cannabis use was impacting me.
I am genuinely excited to live each day sober. For a while, cannabis was really fun and sparked my creativity, but it wore out its welcome when it was no longer worth the price I had to pay.
Here’s to many more days with a clear mind and an energized heart!

It’s been almost 2 weeks without weed (unintentionally). I was a heavy smoker and I promise you that I was one of those people that didn’t think I could get addicted to it. Now I’m realizing I haven’t been processing my emotions for years now. I’m feeling everything and overwhelmingly numb at the same time. In short the withdrawals are kicking my ass. I’m not sure how RUclips knew this to put this on my home page but I’m so glad that it did. Thank you so much for this content I really needed this

Thank you so much❤ I had gotten out of the Marine Corps in 2022 and began smoking immediately. After a a year and a half of dabbing and smoking I experienced CHS and could not eat or drink for 4 days and was in the ER for 3 days…it hasnt been a week sober yet but im still struggling with no appetite and constant nausea. If you notice any of the warning signs please, please get help. CHS is absolutely no joke and should always be tackled right away.

So greatful for this!!! I’ve been terrified to stop because of my mental health and the withdrawals in rehab I went through just from weed was insane! After almost 8-10 years of smoking weed, i am on day 120 without any use of Thc, alcoholic or any kind of drug substances. I know it’s really hard especially when at the same time you have to deal with an arduous breakup. There has been 2 months now since i moved to another country which marijuana is legal (Netherlands) and at first it was really hard to ease the urge to smoke because even my roommate does it. The thing is that all the cravings have now gone, my issue seems to be more of psychological, of course I can’t blame weed for these feelings but it certainly affected them as it was a part of me for many years. Anyways I want to encourage you to keep going if you have quitted and to tell you that practicing meditation and exercise/eating clean helped me along the way. Just to give you a small piece of advice that helped me personally. Take care everyone and lets reach 365 days of being sober!

Since weed became legal in Ca. 2016 I started vaping it hard core everyday all day. for the past 2 years I've been trying to quit only to fail due to nausea and vertigo. I am 5 days in on quitting right now and have been sick as hell (no vomiting thank God). I just tried the ginger tip for the nausea and it's working. I will probably watch this video over and over till I'm free. I've looked up a lot of videos and this was the best most informative I have found! I'm gonna subscribe and check out more of your vids! These symptoms are spot on! When u started with the insomnia I was like "yeah true". Then u hit with the nausea/dehydration and malnutrition and I was totally relating to that, But.. When u said "Next I want to talk about headache".. God I get all of that, I had to pause it because it was to real to actually see other people struggling too. I'm planning on starting college soon. I want to be able to learn and perform 100% and actually not hermit in a corner of class until day is done. I'm deciding on dental hygienist starting as dental assistant or information technology which are both different. I want to see who I really am before I pick a career and make better decisions. Weed really is a prison if used wrong. I love me sober more. ☺️
Thank u so much for talking about this openly and encouraging and motivating me and everyone else who See's or seeks help.
