I played this in the car with 13 year old Daughter and ever since whenever we hear a John Mayer song she screams "DAUGHTERS". I hear it alot.

No shit. That chick was beyond annoying and that’s why his shows, depending on where you sit, can be a bad experience. He has played Daughters 50,000 times, get over it!!!!!
Well, seriously, I do wish there was a way to have that on a separate track and then turn off the volume on it. Now, that would be nice. (However, not upset at her. Figure she had some messed up reasoning, not unlike the girl in the song "Daughters").

@@b.a.m9510 I know! I saw this tour in the spring in St Louis and I’m glad he didn’t play Daughters. Neon was mind-blowing at our show. I told my daughter who was with me that Neon proves he is the best acoustic player of any singer-songwriter I have ever seen. Just stupid good!!!!

John Mayer Solo live puts on a truly magical, special concert. His audience is loving him and every second of it. Somebody is screaming and yelling out at all times. And he is so generous, gracious and accomodating to his audience and fans. Phenomenal. He truly brings it. I love it. Love him

Thanks for posting this. My wife and I were lucky enough to score floor seats at the last minute to celebrate our Anniversary. What a wonderful night. Intimate, great tone and vocals (and we didn't hear all that shrill screaming, thank God!). Just wonderful. We saw him with full band a few years ago but this show was different. The set with the double neck guitar, in particular Edge of Desire, was glorious. Thanks to this post, I've listened to EoD again and again. Each time with a visceral emotional reaction. Just amazing. Life is good.
Last night was my 5th JM concert and the best one so far! I finally had floor seats! The way he vibes with the audience, his gratitude, his pure musical genius, I could go on & on! Thanks for uploading this❤

I had the amazing opurtunity of going to this show and i just have to say, it exeeded my already high expectations. He can accomplish, with one guitar and mic, what artists look for their whole careers. His ability as a performer is unmatched. His energy and the energy in the crowd came together to make it something really special. The intimacy and closeness between him and the crowd is something you dont see everyday. As a guitar player, crazy mayer fan, and a overall appreciater of music in general, it was a night I will never forget and my favorite concert I've ever been to. Thanks John!!!

Me and my dad were also hoping for Althea, it is our favorite season song. We’ve now seen dead and co and Mayer solo, and it’s escaped us both times. He played Althea the night after this too!
Went to a few of the chappelle shows in yellow springs that he showed up at and got a soli althea which is one of my favorite dead songs. It was pretty lovely

The enthousiam and boldness of the people calling out for a request of their favorite song in the hope it gets played ....☺️💐 but its even more beautifull what he explaines later 🥰 concerning the song resquest .So beautifull if you can touch people from different ages backgrounds and tribes with one particular song or more you that touches them you have a special gift ....

He’s straight amazing. I loved seeing him in Atlanta earlier this year. I will say it’s interesting hearing the difference between the PRS and Strat (The Black1) when he plays Gravity. I prefer the tone of the Strat, but it’s great nonetheless.
