I’ve been fortunate enough to see him in concert four times and they were all magical. He is the son of a mariachi and learned to play guitar with his father, what a great gift that was. I am born and raised here in nor cal and had the chance to shake his hand at a show down in San Jose, he was very gracious, what a gifted guitarist! Santana! 🫶👍

Mr John play for 4 straight hours. nice to see the young guys covering he’s style of guitar, not sure how many blues fans left, but Marcel is definintely bringing that sweet southern style of the yesterdays 60’s and 70’s. like a backward time machine, to the good day of the times I’m 88 now, and i still play blues records

I saw the same concert last month at the original Woodstock location. Mike Caraballo, the original conga player, was the invited guest. It was amazing. 🪘🪘🪘

the second concert i ever saw was Santana's MoonFlower Tour at (then) Manley Field House. Europa had me in tears. He and his band played *NINE* encores --- the last of which he dedicated to the stage security controlling the crowd. the man is a living treasure. truly.

Anybody remember lakeside amptheatre ? Where the concerts were once held . Now it's where they do the laserlight shows .

You're recording and sound is excellent! You did a fantastic job. I just forgot how awful darien lake is for concerts all those plastic seats and the the shed covering the seating area. Last concert i attended was back in 2012 ? slayer korn anthrax it was the monster energy tour i believe? We had lawn seats could barely even hear the bands perform darien lake is so sad now these days in general. The removed the giant Farris wheel the ranger the log ride and the cool watersides . I was poor growing up but my mither worked for top's supermarket so every year she was given free passes . Darien lake was always the highlight of my summer now its so depressing 😢
