The belief intro tone, the I Guess I Just Feel Like studio solo tone, and the slow dancing in a burning room solo tone are the best john mayer tones imo
every time he chooses diferent pedals hahaha JM is a true beast.
I believe (ha) the short amount of time he had with drummer Ferrone his Beliefs were the absolute best. But that might be bias, I find Mayers usual choice drummers fantastic but too much going with his smoothness and not rawness.

Half of Mayer's backup band (Phillinganes and Ferrone in particular) is literally from Clapton's 80s-90s backup band, and Lenny Castro's percussion work is just astounding. Just a very tight sounding band in general.

The first part of the interview gave us a good idea of what to expect from this tour. As AMAZING as 2019’s your was with two sets and almost 30 songs every night, and different set lists, I think we’re going back to a more traditional tour set this time around but still with at least 20 songs I hope. I’m excited for Yebba as an opening act (I’m seeing him March 11th in Vegas and March 25th in Utah so Yebba will be the opening act for those dates).
