Wow, awesome video. I had a 2010 F4 for awhile (was dream motorcycle) and put 6,000 miles on it, but was in search of a more upright seating position. This reminded me of how I felt when I bought and road my Rivale for the first time. Now 3500 miles later and Anonimoto exhaust, I'm still excited every time I get on it! The roads here in So Cal are perfect for your bike man, enjoy it.
That's awesome! I too had a 2010 F4 and put over 7k miles on it. Was such a great bike but I had to sell it to buy a new car. Glad you're enjoying your Rivale!
I've watched several other video reviews. Yours is so lighthearted it's a perfect counterpoint to their "this is MV's first-ever tourer, designed to compete with the likes of the Ducati multistrada. It has four riding modes, six-way traction control, a quick shifter, blah, blah blah..." They don't give any sense of enjoying the bike, while you laugh with pleasure when you twist the throttle and pull a wheelie and say, "Ooo, this bike is sick." Best review ever. This is my next bike, too.
+Steve Speidel Thank you for your kind words. I do love the Turismo Veloce, a lot! I've had a few issues with it, but nothing that warranty can't fix! I hope you enjoy the bike as much as I am enjoying mine. :)
+Boris on Bikes Could you be a little more specific on the issues you've had? I'm looking seriously at this segment and just discovered this model today. I'm extremely interested in the bugs you have encountered and how the dealer has addressed them.
wantahertzdonut Only issue I have found with it was some sort of "Clutch Switch" that needs to be replaced under warranty. Still waiting for the part to come from Italy, but it doesn't prevent me from riding my bike. It just throws a Check Engine light every now and then and the quick shifter doesn't work. But if you shut the bike off then on again, its fine. Stupid... I know. Few quirks I found was the Cruise Control button is awkward to press while holding the throttle steady and sometimes you flip the kill switch and shut the bike off while trying to reach for the button. Pretty annoying. Everything else is pretty awesome!
I saw you video last month, and guess what!? I went to Unique SBK here in South Florida (Miami) and got me a brand new Turismo Veloce Lusso. It'll replace my Triumph Tiger Explorer XRx 2017. The Tiger it's a great bike but it's very tall and top heavy, over 625 lbs with bags. My TV Lusso came with side bags, semi electronic suspension and center stand. While riding in Touring I'm getting around 55 miles/gal. This bike is awesome, love it and every time I stop on a stop light I got a thumb's up. Thanks for this great video.
I'm so sorry you bought that bike. I hope you don't have any of the issues I've had. Look over my later videos with the MV. Total nightmare and after contacting MV, they did nothing to help me. Best of luck with your bike.
Oh man, this bike did not last that long. Barely lasted 6 months. MV Agusta would not help me at all so I ended up trading it in and bought a BMW r nine t. Best decision I've ever made. MV is just pretty garbage. Do yourself a favor and do not buy an MV.
New subscriber, great content. After watching your videos I'm soooo stoked on my FJ-09. Not as pretty as the MV but pretty similar bikes. I really wanted the MV but I've had ZERO problems with my FJ-09
+MotoDhy600 Yes, definitely have to have an external mic inside your helmet for sure. Make sure you get a nice one and put it in a place that is best for your helmet to get the best sound quality.
Sorry for the late reply, but I'd suggest not going with MV. Just from personal experience, 3 out of 3 MV's I've owned had major issues and I got rid of every bike within the fist 5 months. I'd go with Ducati any day.
@@BorisOnBikes no problem mate.. Finally I didn't buy a bike yet but now I look the Aprilia Caponord 1200 and the KTM 1190 adv r.. Very beautiful bikes as well.. I hope that the next week I will choose which one I will buy.. The Caponord is an awesome bike vfm.. I found one 2014 model travel pack with 9580 km 7200 euro. Like new..The KTM 1190 is 2014 model with 44550 km 7700 euro..
Hi Boris. Now that you own the TV for a while, how's the experience going? What's it like to live with it? I'm considering one for myself. :) I checked your "red triangle... thing" video. Any complaints since then?
+thepribeiro Hey, thanks for watching! I haven't had any real issues. Just my tail light LED strip is loose inside the tail light and the quickshifter gives me false neutrals from 4th to 5th and sometimes 6th gears but I may be trying to shift too early... I don't know. But no real complaints nor major issues. I think I'm just nitpicking stuff now. Haha!
And more problems in the long run. Stay away from MV. Stay far, far away. Trust me. They screwed me over so hard that I gladly took a $7,000 loss when I traded it in for my BMW.
Yes rode one and found clutch a bit vague quick shifter should be standard on all bikes. did you feel the brake pedal was too inset and heel caught on exhaust? A little too tall not necessary, pillion has a mountain to climb!. fueling a bit lumpy and wind protection not best. I think front end could be a lot sexier, nice nimble agile sports bike good first effort MV hopefully MK 2 will be improved not bowled over to buy one!
I agree on the quick shifter part, but the brake pedal felt fine to me, heel never got caught on the exhaust. I've owned it for a few weeks and I've had no issues. It is a bit tall seeing how I'm 5,8" and pillion does have a mountain to climb hahaha! I honestly love the styling and sort of reminds me of the classic Cagiva Gran Canyon but better. Thanks for your input and I'm sure MV will only make it more pretty over time!
Noooooo LOL! I had this for 6 months, put about 5k miles on it. I would have put more but it spent more time in the shop than it did on the road. So I traded it in for a BMW R nine T and never looked back. Still have the BMW. Never letting this thing go.
Hey, Boris!I've been watching your videos since June, so I thought it's about time I comment. Is your complete journey R1 > F4 > B910 > TV? Whereabouts in SD are you? I'm now in LA, but used to live all over... from Oceanside to San Marcos to Downtown (near Gaslamp). I love Cafe Calabria! I think I'm seeing your green-taped (on wheels) Dainese demon-liveried B910 for sale at GP right now. I love your positive character and sense of humor, as well as the kindhearted good deeds. Congrats on your TV purchase! It is one of my favorites of all time, and I'm a lover of all-things-MV and Dainese from head to toe (just about, anyway. AGV Pista Carbon, Laguna Seca, D1's, and an array of jackets and pants in between, and the excellent winter gloves for chillier SoCal evenings, but I do sport a couple of SIDI boots once in a while). Currently have an 899 Panigale, which is my first bike... yes, *tsk tsk* 7 months after taking the MSF course and getting my license... and still without any other experience, I pulled the trigger and started by leaving the bike in Wet mode and taking it easy with smooth braking/throttling. I do sometimes feel like I could be "missing out" on a downshift quick-blipper... I was thinking about getting a Rivale, but that is still stuck with MVICS / EAS 1.0 and won't be upgraded for 2.0. It's also probably way too tall for me at your height (same 5'8") though I've yet to go and sit on one in person. MVs are far too rare, even out here. And I'm just going about this journey solo so far since I haven't found any riding buddies. Seems like you guys down in SD really know how to roll! Anyhow, I can't wait for more content from you and hope to meet up someday!
+Rascasse Hey man! Thank you very much for the kind words and for watching. My bike journey is more like R1, GSX-R600, Ducati 996, KTM RC8, MV F4, Ducati 748, Ducati 996, Brutale 910, MV TV800 ;) Yes, that is my previous Brutale for sale at GP! What a great bike. I miss it all the time. Dainese/ AGV is my all time fav gear. hands down. EVERY piece of riding gear is Dainese and AGV. Comfort, styling and best protection! If you're ever down in SD, let me know. I'd be more than happy to cruise around a bit. I might be going to the OC Dainese store the 20th for the Marco Simoncelli/ Apex movie event. (might) Thanks man
+J Van D The GS is one of my favorite bikes and eventually I WILL get one. This MV has something special about it that I could not leave the shop without it.
Boris on Bikes thanks for the input ! I had several Mv and Ducati before and although I had the occational eletronic hiccup, I never had any real problems. I did have problems with BMW, expensive ones. Might just be my luck though! Apart from the eletronic shifter which if I saw correctly was sorted by the software update, did you have other issues??
Muturi Malta I have had 13 issues with the bike in 5 months. Some were resolved but some were still there. Front brakes would wobble under breaking, the turn signals were full of water, rear tail light broke inside, tank expanded quite a bit when opening the gas cap, immobilizer wouldn't let me start my bike on a daily basis, Bluetooth malfunctioned, bike would randomly turn on even when it had the kill switch off... and a few more issues. Just a garbage bike and I too owned several Ducati and MV Augusta bikes prior to this.
I'm not sure that it was. There was a couple subscribers that also had some issues with their TV800s. I hope you don't have problems if you do decide to get it. I'll never get another MV as long as I live.

I change my 1090 Brutale into the Turismo Veloce. The Brutale was the more emotional bike. For daily use I prefer the TV.
