Your video is amazing ! I never heard you say “are we there yet ! “ . People overseas say that the outback is boring because it is so empty when driving to a tourist attraction . They failed to see what you could see . I love it . Me and my husband drove across the hay plain and the sky met the flat landscape . You could look as far as the eye can see and the road seemed endless . The sky looked so huge and it was so peaceful . We saw kangaroos and emus though . You are strong solid and durable because you had the strength to travel across Australia . Thank you so much !
❤️ yes it is a fascinating environment . So we ve understood that because there had been rains the Roos and emus did not have to seek water around the road. We did not see even 1 kangaroo all the way through the center.
Awesome guys! Was so lovely meeting you both and I hope you have a blast! The video is incredible and the footage of the Opal fields is fantastic. Well done !
Hahahha well done Mathilde for Nick’s borthday. Nice video with interesting content on the mine etc… Good luck for the transfer to Asia and the next part of your adventure.
Glad you liked it! There is so much to see out there. I could not put everything but we literally harassed Joey with questions the place is so interesting
Wow, I was just in Uluru a few weeks ago, American Thanksgiving, and last year I also did the Great Ocean Highway and saw a wild Koala bear. Two separate and wonderful trips to Australia from the USA. Thanks for the video!
Your RUclips feed came up on my iPad. Your find of one of our country’s most amazing little creatures made my day. I grew up in an area where they were found frequently. I haven’t seen them for many years. Nice to know they are still around. Glad you have enjoyed discovering our wonderful country. My husband is about to retire so looking forward to getting out and investigating it as well. Stay safe. 👋🏻
Your videography skills have gotten so good over your journey. Some fantastic shots. 9 months in Oz is a really good amount of time to see the country. All the best for your travels in Asia and beyond. 👍
Welcome to South Australia! You'd be right to be nervous getting stuck on a beach. I was just a little north of Robe in the Coorong a couple months back and discovered an abandoned 4 wheel drive half submerged in the water. Could hardly have been there for more than a day, so it looks like someone got caught in the sand and then the tide. Although some of the remote areas can be dangerous, that's also part of their beauty. It's so nice to find remote places where you feel completely cut off from civilisation and the freedom that comes with it! Enjoy the rest of your trip + happy birthday ;)
Wow this awesome journey around Australia sure has been amazing . Seeing it threw your eyes ,and camera’s. Has been truly very inspiring and enjoyable. Thank you both for always bring us all these wonderful videos . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌏🍻👍🏼😁🎄
It's always so nice to see your wonderful videos. It's so entertaining to watch your road adventures, going through beautiful places, and you guys are a joy, thank you! ❤❤
Love the two tracking through the dunes! That Cuberpete place looked interesting and the underground home was really cool. You can keep the snake though.
I presume that you have a reliable pump that you can inflate or deflate your tyers to to suit the conditions your driving on. In the case where you were bogged you could have let them down to as low as 16psi, that gives you a wider spread of the tyre giving more traction
Thanks for having us and @katie.maree8 along, guys. Two adventures I won't soon forget. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the journey has in store for you and the Albatross. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
I reckon that was a King Brown that had just shed its skin. These are not normal snakes. They are big strong fast and aggressive in the extreme. You have no idea. They are the boss out there.
Welcome to SA. We are form Adelaide and traveling in our troppy around the world, Australia to Germany at (we are on a winter break and will be back in Adelaide very soon) Funny enough I got stuck on the same beach, coming from the other end, many years ago.
Looking at the snake you saw, my guess would be a Shield-snouted Brown Snake. Like all brown snakes, they are highly venomous, and a single bite can be lethal.
Thanks guys! Love 💘the channel always fun and interesting! Coober Pedy is amazing with the Opel mining and underground homes. Nice to see a Ford pull your Land Rower out of the sand! Don't mess with the snakes of Australia most are venomous. Australia and its people are amazing. Hope all goes well with your SUV shipping to Asia! Hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas 🎄🎄❄❄and New Years Season! Cheers🥖🥖🍺🍺🎅🏼
They went to Coober Pedy on the second season of the US version of The Amazing Race where they were given a choice between a difficult gold hunting task in the air conditoned mine or a simpler golfing challenge albeit in the extreme heat.
Nick, Mathilde.... I am trying to show a friend one of the services you use for your travels but I can't find it. Can you post the name of the phone service solution that you currently consider the best for your travels. I think I remember you using more than one method. From sim cards, eSimcards and other online services. If I remember correectly, once you settled for a service that allows you to simply pick the country where you're going, and you're able to switch over to a plan that is reliable and inexpensive without waiting for new sim cards. Thank you!
Very cool. I have seen videos of Cuberpete before, but you had a few tidbits that I did't know. Not a fan of the endless desert landscape though. I guess if you go to Australia, you have to drive those endless stretches to get the full experience.
U all should invest in a good brand kinetic rope as they work much better than straps. I'm in the US & back in the day everyone used straps then years later kinetic ropes came along & what a difference in rebound energy, just saying. Ur videos r so much more interesting in content with the wild offloading & the day to day ups & downs by far. Keep em coming🤘
The snake is a ringed brown snake by the looks. Dangerous as normal in Australia we have some of the most deadliest snakes in Australia. Loved the whole thing as normal guys. Need to work a bit on the post audio though haha but you know my back ground. Haha message me if you want help with it. Loved every minute of this vid ❤🎉
Hi guys. You sure seem to manage to find some unusual and exciting places. I didn't know about the underground homes in the opal mining area. I guess you could call them desert hobbits🙂. God Bless. H
It seems to be a juvenile brown snake, but already almost an adult. In any case, one of the most venomous in the world. The snake bit kit doesn´t help in this case!!!Be careful, friends!!! It's best to show the pictures to a local expert for verification. Happy birthday Nick ! (same age as my son). Have a nice and safe trip!!!
Did you ever find out why they don't have to fill the test holes? Sure seems dangerous? The hobbit cave house was incredible! I loved the emu's on the run! You always meet the coolest people!❤
According to Joey there is some sort of guidance requiring them to at least protect the hole. But she acknowledges only a small portion are covered. In the prospection phase they drill holes everywhere
we had never met ! she is a remote aunt and an awesome person! it is just the itinerary brought us toward Adelaide at the end. it was really good timing actually
You won't like it here on Boxing Day, it is predicted to reach 45 C (113 F). EDIT:, I recalculated the Furry Height temperature. My initial mental calculation was six degrees too low.
lovely scenery...beautiful australia 👍👍👍How come u guys did not interview any aborigines on ur trip thru australia, that would of been a nice end to ur journey (thru australia)
hey Andre, good question, we lined up a few options for a good encounters, but nothing ended up working out... a real pity. we are disappointed as well.

Nice but your video of Adelaide was so quick ?
South Australia is extraordinary by any standard.
Clearly the most diverse and striking and I think you barely scratched the surface.
We definitely just scratched the surface :) but it was already amazing

I love to be on the Sturt Highway near Balranald at dusk. The sky near the Hay Plain horizon is a beautiful subtle mauve or violet colour.
Awesome guys! Was so lovely meeting you both and I hope you have a blast! The video is incredible and the footage of the Opal fields is fantastic. Well done !
Thanks so much for the visit Joey- we loved it… we had so much more footage had to make a CHoice. Meeting you was by far the highlight of our stay !!!
Happy Birthday, Nick. Always wanted to see Coober Pedy...now I've seen it. Very interesting and unexpected. Thanks.
Thanks! Coober Pedy is a pretty special place for sure. But it s nice to have someone to show around
Hahahha well done Mathilde for Nick’s borthday. Nice video with interesting content on the mine etc… Good luck for the transfer to Asia and the next part of your adventure.
Thank you Max !!!! Oui La mine on avait beaucoup plus de contenu c était tellement intéressant
Wow!!!!! Not only are your videos entertaining, but they are also educational! The Cooper Pedy living conditions are unique to say the least.....
Isn’t it amazing!!!! We were surprises to find the town so interesting
This is the best. Coober Pedy is such a discovery. I've known about this place but never seen it as you present. So cool! So many questions.
Glad you liked it! There is so much to see out there. I could not put everything but we literally harassed Joey with questions the place is so interesting
THE EMU SHOT 😍😍😍 another great, great video you guys 🫶🏻
Happy holidays, vous deux , wherever you happen to be at the moment!
Wonderful video as always. Especially enjoyed the wildlife.

Hey HAPPY BIRTHDAY. NICK SURE HOPE YOU HAD A BLESSED DAY
Thank you so so so much Sabido!!! 🙏🏻
Incroyable ce mode de vie souterrain ! Merci pour cette belle découverte ! 😉
Oui c était vraiment fascinating cet endroit on imagine pas que canpuisse existed
Awesome as usual. No, I take that back, it is so unusually interesting: from the dunes to the dugouts. And what a unique place, Coober Pedy is. Wow!
Love the two tracking through the dunes! That Cuberpete place looked interesting and the underground home was really cool. You can keep the snake though.
I assume you mean Coober Pedy.
@ ya I’m on the other side of the planet and just copied someone else’s text with out checking. Still it looks like an interesting place to visit.
It was the most fascinating place Ron! Honestly loved it. And could not imagine places like that existed! Merry Christmas to you
You guys rock! This was quite interesting! Awesome journey!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! 😍😍😍
Was lucky enough to spend a few months in South Australia a few years ago. Drove from Sydney to Adelaide via a very circutious route in a tiny Kia.
I presume that you have a reliable pump that you can inflate or deflate your tyers to to suit the conditions your driving on. In the case where you were bogged you could have let them down to as low as 16psi, that gives you a wider spread of the tyre giving more traction
Yes we do change the pressure all the time :)
The Flinders are so green at the moment!!
Amazing how it comes alive with a bit of rain !
Yes it was superb
You gays are lousy drivers when I go hunting I go Tru svamp and water is 4 feet deep and snow but I got Cummings 2001 4×4

Small world! Hahaha yes the sand was just different on a few of those beaches super interesting
SA probably has more biomes than any other location in the world. Don't forget to checkout the Adelaide Hills!
we actually stayed there for 5 days at nick s aunts, beautiful place
Looking at the snake you saw, my guess would be a Shield-snouted Brown Snake. Like all brown snakes, they are highly venomous, and a single bite can be lethal.
It was fast too! Thank you for the tip!
Love the video - snake looks like either a juvenile eastern brown (venomous), or maybe a tiger snake (also venomous)….
Thanks guys! Love 💘the channel always fun and interesting! Coober Pedy is amazing with the Opel mining and underground homes. Nice to see a Ford pull your Land Rower out of the sand! oh wow hahahahah that must have been awesome as an experience we are honnestly tempted to go back and experience the mining
M & M's in that heat. I hope they made it!
That snake was probably a King Brown - very big, very poisonois, best avoided ;-)
western brown actually.
Nice Home it most be really cool down there too
Yes it stays pretty stable at 22/23 degrees it was perfect
Loved this one, but not sure about underground living- super interesting, none the less!🤩🙃
Hahahaha i agree with you! But! We visited another dugout , the one of Joey and it looked so much more modern like a normal house. Pretty nice
SA is so underrated.
Cooper pedi, living in the underground is very exiting. Thanks.

It's a pretty amazing place! And yes that d be fitting such a fun way to live
Funnily enough that you mention mad max because they were filmed there.
It is so so so cool!

Nice travels 👍 Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you John!
Kind of looks like an Eastern Brown Snake - if so it's a deadly one, and good you stayed away.
"coolest" place to sleep in the hot desert, nice of Dee to sort you the dugout bet a shower and a cave was very very refreshing.
Amazing video. Thanks 😊
thank you !
We used to ride our bikes on that beach
if you deflate your tyres to 12psi you will be rearly buged and don't try turning in soft sand
Unfortunately you only scratched the surface of South Australia!
Oh of course there is always so much more :)
Nice 👍
Snake could be a speckled brown snake
Great video as always 🥰
17 days omg 🤣
Super journey ❤❤😊
Driving a left hand driving vehicle would make the driving a little bit harder
You surprisingly get used to it pretty fast !!

Stopped watching half way because the music volume was too high. Just irritating, woke up the whole household.
So turn the volume down.
Hey Ian, we will be check better in the next episode.
Dat snake, it's a danger noodle. Don't touch it 😀
hahahahah noted
looks like a western brown snake, very venomous.
That s the vibe … hahahah
