Magical MANANG - NAR PHU (Phoo) Valley Trek and KANG LA Pass Episode One

During the monsoon of 2018, we found the perfect trekking destination, Nar Phu (Phoo) Valley in Manang. While it was showering heavily all around Nepal, this region was all green with little to no rain.
We witnessed the greenery of the highlands, the spring of the himalaya and so so many waterfalls.
On this two part series, we take you to Phu village, the first major destination of the trek.

Yes, this is OUR Himalayan culture! All of us Nepalese should become aware of the uniqueness and beauty of the different sub-cultures of the Nepal Himalayas. No doubt, the predominant influence is Tibetan but it IS a part and parcel of the religious, cultural and social heritage of Nepal, therefore, it is more appropriate to term the culture of the Nepalese Himalayas as 'Nepalese Himalayan!'
