Tommy Lincoln , pat and myself went to toolangi state forest to film some tough as 4wd try and make their way up cockpit and blowhard track
There was so much V8 goodness I couldn’t help myself but to keep adding more footage in as it sounded so good.

Another great day on the tracks with all the lads, we knew we were up for some challenges but everyone had a crack and as usual lots of laughs along the way. Love your commitment to putting these vidz together mate, luv ya 👌🏽👍❤️

When I was a young bloke, my parents had a banana plantation on the side a hill/ mountain. ( 1975 to 1980) It was red volcanic clay/soil. We had a series 3
Land Rover and a Willies Jeep. We used snow chains for traction in the clay. Worked well.
I guess you guys in Vic don’t have to comply with ADR 13 ?
I have no idea what ADR 13 is 😆.
I’ve used chains in the past and they work amazingly. We just didn’t have any to fit the tyre size everyone was running.

Saw George near Ballarat the other week
Lol would’ve been heading to sovereign hill to get the little one from camp and then on to the Pyrenees for a weekend we had with one of the 62 crews. Hope I wasn’t hooning or being a dick lol should said hi!

That’s a tight fit for a 62
Mate I bailed on one of the cuttings as I knew I’d have punched in the rear 1/4. And what people forget is this things nearly 4t and the biggest 4x4 on the market with the exception of the US trucks. 👌🏽👍❤️
Ohh and I was running 35” tyres on a 20” rim!!! These guys had 37” treps on 17” rims
Everything’s a tight fit for a 62. They are huge.

Why is it you ausies avoid basic gear? Use chains! 4 icebreakers and you walk up that kind of terrain without spinning a wheel. Even better in the sloppy stuff
Some ppl do but I think you chew the track up more with chains then without.
We were just spinning on top. Chains really dig in.
To be fair to Georgie Boy that track in is pretty chewed out.
All credit to George for sure. I wasn’t even willing to take my car up 😂
@@Australian4x4Adventures Stevo, i had a look at it the other week while working up the road. I can see why most take a GQ or other older rig up there it takes big balls to take a modern rig up it.
No way would my GU make it past the first part...
