You can really see the difference in 4x4 between the solid axle rigs Vs the newer others.. Also... good to see couple of the boys having a drink...watching all the 4x4 shows now just doesn't seem normal...as a normal day out 4x4ing would be guys with drinks in hand, swearing and giving heaps of BS talk and banter between each other... Great vid guys, currently sharing it to heap of others so they too can watch.. 👍👍👍
Hahaha. Too true buddy. I try to capture the fun and banter in the day as much as the 4wding content. Giving ya mates some stick is what half of it’s about. Thanks for sharing it around too buddy. Greatly appreciated.
Another great vid Steve part 2 of our wet n wild day in Toolangi. Definitely not for the feint hearted. Cockpit / Blowhard in the wet will really test your rigs and your nerves lol 🤣🤦🏻♂️🦾❤️
you've got to take into account George's y62 is supercharged post factory, they generate more heat. So being driven tap wide, of course its going to get hot! but what a rig. these 62's are proving themselves as great all-round vehicles. I take my hat off to you George. you give everything a crack.well done! Hey Andrew, where was your 200 in this drive? Great vid
All i see is idiots chewing up the tracks making them worse than what they already are.. there is NO need to be going up these tracks when they are like this.. it just makes your vehicle work harder than it really needs to and causes damage to the vehicle.. sheer stupidity...And they wonder why tracks are closed.. this is the reason!!!!.....
Insane driving, brutal track, fun to watch, you can see why they overheated, chucking mud on the limiter and going nowhere (we know who's keeping the ruts freshly dug LOL). First car up is always going to have the easiest run as the surface isn't as polished. I was waiting for something to break! The worst part is the cleanup afterwards....George has his work cut out to make that Y62 pretty again. :-D
😂. This was the same day trip which I decided to NOT take my car on. It’s built for some good hard tracks but I wouldn’t of had a hope in hell at this track. With 32” tyres on I would of just been skull dragging myself up it all day. Ya gotta know which battles are worth fighting
😂. Classic. This year is a funny year for me as I’m trying to build a house at the same time. It’s due to be finished around oct so I should be back to more regularly uploads around then.
The y62 didn't need all those revs 80% of the time, every time he got past a slippery bit he backs off then looses traction over and over and over again. Just keep a little momentum and it would have been fine
Wow. These are the videos for the reason I don't subscribe. Seems like "all the gear, no idea" "if in doubt, send it" "If you don't have the grip, punch the loud pedal" No wonder things get broken and over heat. I guess I'm to old and respect my machines to much to keep fixing them.
I fully respect your opinion and if you feel my channel is too much for you then prolly best that you don’t subscribe. But. To say we have all the gear and no idea is unfair and unfounded on a few levels. Firstly I’ve completed both level 1 and 2 4wd training. 2nd I’ve competed in and won winch challange events which are much higher stress levels then anything we done in this video. 3rd. Just because we like to push the gear we have and you don’t doesn’t make it wrong. Ppl look to us to see what we use and what we break. If it survives then ppl go out and buy it because like yourself the majority of 4wders won’t do what we do. Is what we do fit everyone. ABSOLUTELY NOT. But we are setup for and we are willing to pay the price if and when something goes wrong. But just because you don’t do it doesn’t make it wrong for us to do it. This style of track is left alone by DSE and alike for exactly this reason, so ppl like us have places that we can be a little silly and no real harm is caused Much better doing it on a track designed for it rather then on the streets or a main stream 4wd track. Thanks for your input and I hope you take my reply the way I intend for it to be taken.
@@Australian4x4Adventures thanks for your reply. Glad you weren't offended in today's society with my comment. When I watch people like Tyler Thompson and "do it in the dirt" Jeff where those drivers seem to drive technical and I haven't once seem them "send it" then stumble across your video it certainly seems like there is a clear divide between drivers. I think if I watched your videos with competition trucks built for the heavy right foot then yes. Fit for purpose. I guess like you said in your last video "good for entertainment value" is true and you obviously love what you do. At the end of the day, you do the best you keep smiling. Repect your reply but I also know once you've ran out of grip with the chunkiest tyres and you are getting no airflow because you aren't going anywhere on an uphill claypit things need to be reassessed before things go wrong. But you already know that and it is good "entertainment" Keep the shiny side up and I'll be that bloke going real slow because I can't afford to replace my equipment. (Not due to funds but due to time). PS I must just be old, plus I own a Jeep and everyone tells me they break down on their own without being pushed. 😃

Love the entertainment but the y62 with the super driving like that it’s days are numbered, it will already be damaged but to each his own got to spend your money on something, George has got plenty.
Bit disappointing for the y62 to overheat like that, maybe needs a rad clean out if haven’t done already, the outside of the rad. Also I doubt a y62 crate engine is 30k, if it let go you would just build it to suit all the boostsssss.
