There is no other way to do this track, it is steep and muddy, you cannot crawl it

great work...NOT...prime example of ruining the tracks and giving the government a reason to close off sections.
I will say this again, there is no other way to do these tracks, they are steep and super slippery. You cannot crawl them, this is what these tracks are known for and the reason people go to do them

Adam Reed I can appreciate your reasoning but there is a limit and a point where you should STOP, THINK & pull out the winch cable. Not only will you lessen the damage to the track but also avoid breaking your vehicle

There is a way to get up these tracks. Wait till it dries out a bit.
Some of us older blokes have seen the tracks get shut.
@@livin4x4 You're not supposed to do them in the wet. The more you spin wheels, the deeper you dig, and sooner or later it becomes impassable, and it's game over. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Boost does not cause engines to get hot but full throttle for a few minites with no air movement will make any car get hot
Diesel's make power on the amount of fuel they are running and boost just makes them burn the fuel completely and lean out so they run cooler rhe black soot is raw fuel before it come on boost and the petty patrol had to cool down as well and it has no boost and was full throtte for a lot shorter time

Those poor maxtracks. It's hard not to spin when it's slippery, but it kills them.

wheeling uphill in the rain..... on bald tires no less.. need some good mud boggers, and stop redlining on the hills in low range. just going to break some expensive parts.. lockers, little wheel speed, and momentum are your friend..

It's way steeper than it looks 😆 People just get protective over the bush which is understandable, but what they don't realise is we aren't the only ones doing it... It's what these tracks are known for

Its pretty dissapointing to see good tracks being torn up by people who think they have the right to do so. Its all good fun at the time but if you 4wheel drive in the same area for long enough you will start saying to yourself 'these tracks used to be fun and not trashed' then you shrug and move on to the next lot of bushland to convert at your leisure. I feel as though documenting this and making it seem fun encourages others to do the same. Care for your country, pick up your rubbish and respect all those who like the outdoors

Any of you blokes try this with lockers ?
The red patrol has a front locker and the 80 series has front and back, not sure about the green patrol
You get a gimbal to get better footage and improve your video quality
I have a gimbal, I just don't use it for this stuff because then the setup becomes to big and bulky for a run and gun
I use larger cameras which means I need a larger gimbal which makes it a really heavy setup
