Hey mate, if you’re talking about the blue and silver GQ I’m the guy who owns it now. Bought it last year off a guy near Geelong. I’ve had to drop a bit of money into it to keep it going and running right but she’s a good rig
I think I saw the 80, Duramax GU and the GQ at Howitt Hut on Australia Day weekend 2021. That Duramax sounds epic, but I imagine it takes some work keeping the diesel up to it haha
Is it just me or does anyone else make sure that the brightness is all the way up, the volume is set to the perfect level and get comfy before the video starts lol. Great vid JP Captured, I really enjoyed this one. I only discovered your channel recently and gladly so.
@@jpcaptured799 how do you boys go with maintenance on the utes? i seem to do wheel bearings n shit all the time after driving in the mud puddles and pullyes etc fucking up! nice vid
Tell me about it mate! He was a very knowledgeable with 4WD'S and 4wdin in general but didn't depth check and had a cold air intake 🤷♂️ nice bloke though, guess we have all been there before. I remember drowning my bj40 (first 4wd) i had no idea they needed snorkels back then 🤣👌
Hey man, love your videos! Been watching you for a bit now, i wanna buy a nav, but could you do a over veiw on yours like the year and all that? Cause i would like more info on it
probably not a great idea fitting a pod type air filter and then tackle metre deep mud LOL. the motor will be stuffed, so either a big repair bill or would not be surprised if there was a black Ram for sale. only some slightly bend rods...
Lachy and Dan were Navigating this trip, but there are free online maps that you can download, there is also a really good facebook group that is dedicated to toolangi.
JP Captured I’ll be back again mate’ I understand RUclips can play games don’t blame you fella. I’ve got an np300 to so the build series you’ve got going is unreal for me .
Cool video. Shame ur 4by couldnt tackle it. One concern i have are all these clowns filming a snatch recovery on their phones standing right there if something goes wrong. That ram was obviously stuck and heavy. Then again it would be cool seeing thevideo on youtube of someone get smacked in the face by a strap or shackle all cause they wanted that wickid gram pic. Carry on
yeh man, i toyed with the idea of taking the NP but it's really hard to do filming and drive all day as well. especially with a new group I hadn't been out with before. yes I agree RE: people around recovery gear, it was making me very itchy and I tried my best to get most people to stand back or behind a tree, we were not prepared for pulling out that big rig that's for sure!
It helps when you actually give tje strap more than a few inches to snatch, try snaching from half way down the strap next time. You should have got him out first pull. The snatch strap is like a rubber band compared to the other straps in your recovery bag
Sweet video! I can't believe the ram tried to drive through that without a snorkel. Wtffff
These got some balls plus some awesome driving skills!
good to see my old GQ getting used well! :)

Nice work 👍👍 Dunno what old mate was thinking trying to take a RAM in there. I guess some people have to learn the hard way 😂

@@jpcaptured799 legend!
That is pretty difficult, i went that last week drive Jeep Wrangler
it's a great playground if you like mud 👌🙌
Would have been good to see the NP300 out having a play in the mud keep up the great work
Soon 😁
Np300 video coming soon from another bunyip adventure
Can't wait to see it
I didn't think you would've tackled Cockpit.
Too many Rigs on 37s & Lockers have ripped it up.
thought rams ate utes for breakfast lmao gets stuck in the first puddle
Longy661 I find American “trucks” stupid but tbh I didn’t see anyone else attempt that puddle

Yea and blew a tyre off the bead and had a little drink 😂
This video should be called Toyota and Nissan save Dodge Ram
wicked idea!
How does the hilux make that sound
I reckon it might have a 3" exhaust on it mate 😉
How come you didn’t take out your Nav?🥲
with the way you guys dig these trenches you call trails in 50 years you will be able to boat them
where do you find the locations of tracks in toolangi?
Lachy and Dan were Navigating this trip, but there are free online maps that you can download, there is also a really good facebook group that is dedicated to toolangi.
Is the blue GQ still powered by a TD42?
it's a bloody TB42 believe it or not! the old TB's always amaze me with how well they go. it sounds mint too.
@@jpcaptured799 TB42?! Wow! It really goes well and sounds amazing there.
15 psi is not letting your tyres down. But for these flat tracks its fine
yeh man it did the trick
How dare you release this while I’m in class 😡 keeeen 🤙
Haha, sorry man 😅 theres no NP in this one though, that will be the next vid 😎
JP Captured any upload from ya is a good day mate
this was my first episode watched & at the nine minute mark id watched 5 ad's. by the end it was 11. what a joke
don't know why you had 11 ads I've had none for some reason?
Normally it should only be 1 or 2. I'm surprised you stayed for 9 minutes! Hope you enjoyed the video non the less man.

Bit awkward when the cruiser sounds better than the duramax...
it's a wicked gu but he needs to open it up more...that 1hd sounds soooo good but.
JP Captured oath! Without you saying duramax, I thought it was standard run of the mill gu.
She’s straight piped now mate !! Sounds heaps better now
I like everyone thinking it’s only a 3L 😜
tryne get one of them rams out is a fucken mission ahahah and clearly not made for 4b 😂😂
it was a big rig that's for sure!
that ram is fucked surely
Way too many ads to be fun to watch
