I really prefer having to wait in an elevator, rather than having to sit through a loading screen. The immersion doesn’t break, this way! I personally just try to spin around, which can be a surprisingly difficult task.
SeanPawn same here! Much prefer moving around to an unplayable loading screen. The moments where you’re left to your own devices are some of the funniest, and you can discover some more unconventional uses from your move set! I try things I otherwise wouldn’t, keeping myself entertained 😅

Good point about the stairs from the original, a major part of that game was rerunning through the Mansion and you could only fast travel backwards via the mirror. That does make LM3’s elevator all the more satisfying! It’s a little odd, but I like when games put the player in a more confined space (most often in loading screens) where the only option is to play around with your move set. Leads to discoveries and funny moments!

The best addition to this game (other than the elevator trips rather than a loading screen. Love that.) Is the button letting you say "Mario?" Now I can remix it!!!
@@ThaneGaming I've played Dark Moon from start to finish for the first time just recently, despite having it since it was first released- Luigi actually switches back to saying "Mario" near the end of the game. I pressed the button and said "Maarioo!" myself as a joke referencing the original, but I lost it when I realised that Luigi said it as well
