Did you know he can run and jump faster and higher than his brother, but in compensation when you stop, it takes a little more time than Mario ? Or he is really intelligent too. In short I prefer Luigi and Daisy over Mario and Peach themselves.
Isn't anyone gonna talk about how caring mario is? When Luigi is climbing the stairs, mario stops and checks for him just in case. And when those two just hugged, it was the most heartwarming part of the game!

They've always spoken, especially in the older games from the N64, GameCube and GBA era. I think the reason why Nintendo made them less talkative in the Wii era and beyind was because they didn't want dialogue to get in the way of the gameplay and wanted body language to tell stories instead. But in this game, it seems like they're going back to making their characters talk more. Mario was pretty energetic and vibrant in Odyssey as well. I'm glad they're making him more expressive in each newer game coming out other than just "generic happy hero guy." Wait, Peach didn't have a personality before? She has one, but she's just really modest. In the sports or party games she has more personality, being more spunky and playful. I love how peppy she is here too!

So to see her in full character when they all hug, it warms my heart, even if King Boo DOES come and kidnap them.

Plus I like how it shows all of them, including Peach, helping out to rebuild the building after it was destroyed so the ghosts have a home. They really are such good hearted people.
Also boss fights were really creative and with the right amount of difficulty, they really outdid themselves in that area, only boss I dislike is freaking Clem, Jesus the physics were a pain

This was actually the game I pointed to in defense of Chris Pratt as Mario. Because can you imagine a feature length movie voiced like this? Charles Martinet is the go-to guy for the games, but I sure wouldn't want a whole movie that was nothing but "Wahoo", "Let's-a go!", or some form of "WaaaAAaaAAAaaAAaa"
Most of my praise for this game has to go to King Boo's character development. He isn’t smiling all the time, he finally shows his anger and frustration. Just shows that he has had enough of Luigi and also shows his scariest side.
Crazy how bowser will lose in 100+ games and still treat the bros/peach as worthy adversaries but king boo straight up fucking hates Luigi after losing to him twice. Really shows that king boo is more sadistic and maniacal then bowser

I love how over excited Mario seems in this scene. They really over exaggerated that Mario is far more used to platforming than Luigi is, especially in that part where he jumps across the gap. I'm glad they're making the characters have more voice lines instead of just "wahoo let's a go" kinda like at the end of luigi's mansion dark moon. I hope they do this with the next mario game

Yeah, you can tell that Mario's never hit a roadblock in regards to saving his princess and now he has. The poor guy can't get her out the good old fashioned way, and he doesn't have a Poltergust, so he's understandably upset that he can't save her. 😢
i think this game has delved deeper into the personalities and relationship of mario and luigi in this one scene, than any other super mario bros. 3D game has before. i also really like how this game explored their dynamic and how it contrasted their personalities. i think it’s interesting because they’re both heroic, but they approach heroism so differently.
I dunno, I still find the final scene of the first game to show how much Luigi cares for Mario. When Luigi finally laughed and that tear of happiness trickled down his cheek when he saw mario, it just tugged on my heartstrings in a way that none of the other luigi's mansion games did.
Alex D Ramos the angle of the camera reminds me of that one picture used in the Dark Moon promotional material. Seeing Luigi manage to look King Boo in the eye with determination just made me love him even more
I honestly thought the boss would resume from there. I thought King Boo would like, slam Luigi down or something and he'd have one last really difficult fight against King Boo.
The animation and the amount of detail and the facial expressions is on par with a Pixar film to be honest. I felt the same way with Odyssey. They should make the Luigi Mansion series have short films or TV shorts, sort of like how Sonic Unleashed had short films following the adventures of Chip and Sonic, like in "Night of the Werehog", for example.

This actually isn't the first time they've done that. They spoke a lot back in the N64/GameCube Era, especially in the spin-offs. And in Mario VS Donkey Kong, Mario just couldn't shut up in that game!
I think it's because Bowser doesn't want to actually harm peach, but King Boo has no morals, he just wants them all dead or trapped forever, so mario has more reason to be worried here than otherwise.

The way it's animated How Luigi throws everything to the side without hesitation to save the painting: 15:29 Gooigi saying "bye bye": 15:48 Polterpup saving Luigi: 16:00 The ghosts being redeemed: 17:34 Hammer eating the helmet: 17:41 The art in the credits: 17:55 Luigi saying bye to everyone, including the ghosts: 22:56 Luigi being terrified by polterpup appearing: 23:12
I love this stuff and how Luigi stutters the “no” and the bodily reaction of “please no, not again!” when the ghosts come out of the vacuum and start to come after him-when he’s holding the diamond. The voice acting is super in this game.
@@cruzjunior05 Yeah, it's not really "broken" though. He's been shown to speak properly before in some games, especially back in the N64/Gamecube Era. To be honest, most of the Mario characters talk more like Sesame Street characters. Even Peach talks like one now, I remember back in the 90s/early 2000s when she used to have a more dignified and elegant womanly voice, but now it's more child-like, playful and girlish, probably to make her more cute and innocent. They all even refer to themselves in third-person like Sesame Street characters ("Peach thinks that sweet!" "Mario's gonna get you!" "Oh yeah! Luigi did it! Go Luigi!") I think it pretty darn cute to be honest. I wonder if that's how people in the Mushroom Kingdom speak?
This cutscene is probably one of my favorites, it's definitely up there with the Dream Team cutscene where Luigi looked hella smug and confident fighting Bowser.

dark moon was a huge step down for our lovable green plumber. it’s good to see the third game come so so SO close to having the same charm as the original. in some ways it even surpasses the original! glad to see nintendo go back to giving this franchise the charm that it needed. but seriously PLEASE don’t screw up the fourth game!

Who says or even believes that anymore? I hardly hear people say things about Mario anymore, and if they do they're usually joking. I remember back when the theory first came out, people took it so seriously and it continued well into 2018. It was ridiculous. And all over just because he stepped on Luigi's foot in a SPORTS game. It was just a friendly rivarly nudge, that's all. It wasn't like he shoved Luigi's face in poop or something for winning. And my brother teases me a lot like that too! Yes, Mario can be hot-tempered at times, but he's not an awful brother! That's like saying Sonic is terrible to Tails because Sonic is cocky around him, I remember someone who thought Sonic was horrible to Tails because Sonic leaves him behind, although that's not Sonic's fault at all, that's bound to happen in the old games, and in canon Tails is almost always keeping up with Sonic. The only bad thing Mario has done was in Donkey Kong when he mistreated him, but there's a theory that Jumpman might be Mario's dad instead. I think the "Mario is Mental" theory was stupid. All becuase of that peoole were hating that much on what's supposed to be a cheerful, adorable and iconic fictional character? Mickey Mouse wasn't exactly innocent either back in the day, but he didn't get as much hate as Mario did. I don't even think Mario is all that hated anymore, and most people who don't look deep into the internet aren't even aware MatPat's theory even exists.

When Mario & Luigi met each other in this game, that melted my heart. That's also the case in Mario & Luigi games after they got separated & come back to each other. In some of the older games, their bond wasn't THAT good, but now it is. And I ❤ it. Luigi Just as good as the ending of Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon.

i think this game has delved deeper into the personalities and relationship of mario and luigi in this one scene, than any other super mario bros. 3D game has before.
i also really like how this game explored their dynamic and how it contrasted their personalities.
i think it’s interesting because they’re both heroic, but they approach heroism so differently.
True. Luigi is the reluctant hero but he still comes through. He didn’t hesitate to save them all, all while trembling a bit.
I dunno, I still find the final scene of the first game to show how much Luigi cares for Mario. When Luigi finally laughed and that tear of happiness trickled down his cheek when he saw mario, it just tugged on my heartstrings in a way that none of the other luigi's mansion games did.

The animation and the amount of detail and the facial expressions is on par with a Pixar film to be honest. I felt the same way with Odyssey. They should make the Luigi Mansion series have short films or TV shorts, sort of like how Sonic Unleashed had short films following the adventures of Chip and Sonic, like in "Night of the Werehog", for example.

@@cruzjunior05 Yeah, it's not really "broken" though. He's been shown to speak properly before in some games, especially back in the N64/Gamecube Era. To be honest, most of the Mario characters talk more like Sesame Street characters. Even Peach talks like one now, I remember back in the 90s/early 2000s when she used to have a more dignified and elegant womanly voice, but now it's more child-like, playful and girlish, probably to make her more cute and innocent. They all even refer to themselves in third-person like Sesame Street characters ("Peach thinks that sweet!" "Mario's gonna get you!" "Oh yeah! Luigi did it! Go Luigi!") I think it pretty darn cute to be honest. I wonder if that's how people in the Mushroom Kingdom speak?

Who says or even believes that anymore? I hardly hear people say things about Mario anymore, and if they do they're usually joking. I remember back when the theory first came out, people took it so seriously and it continued well into 2018. It was ridiculous. And all over just because he stepped on Luigi's foot in a SPORTS game. It was just a friendly rivarly nudge, that's all. It wasn't like he shoved Luigi's face in poop or something for winning. And my brother teases me a lot like that too! Yes, Mario can be hot-tempered at times, but he's not an awful brother! That's like saying Sonic is terrible to Tails because Sonic is cocky around him, I remember someone who thought Sonic was horrible to Tails because Sonic leaves him behind, although that's not Sonic's fault at all, that's bound to happen in the old games, and in canon Tails is almost always keeping up with Sonic. The only bad thing Mario has done was in Donkey Kong when he mistreated him, but there's a theory that Jumpman might be Mario's dad instead. I think the "Mario is Mental" theory was stupid. All becuase of that peoole were hating that much on what's supposed to be a cheerful, adorable and iconic fictional character? Mickey Mouse wasn't exactly innocent either back in the day, but he didn't get as much hate as Mario did. I don't even think Mario is all that hated anymore, and most people who don't look deep into the internet aren't even aware MatPat's theory even exists.
